The staff was extremely personable and helpful at all times. The room was very clean. They even let my husband and son stay the last day for two extra hours, free of charge, because it was extremely hot outside and they were waiting for me to finish a class. That's great service! The only thing we didn't care for was that the pool was only open from 5pm-10pm.

The hotel was well-appointed -- especially the lobby with a Smart Board type display, 24-hour coffee and snack bar -- and the room comfortable. The pool and hot tub were pleasant but only open from 4-10 p.m. with a lifeguard on duty. It opened to the courtyard but the doors were locked! The courtyard has chairs and outdoor sofas in various settings, perfect for a pleasant evening visit. The hotel is well over an hour away from Washington downtown. Within the driving area are lots of eateries but none within walking distance.

I stayed for 3 days and I fully enjoyed the quiet. The staff was very friendly, the hotel was elegant and clean, although the main hallway carpeting needs to be replaced. The room was large, had plenty of room, outlets and lights. I would recommend it to friends. It's so close to Dulles Airport, and very close to Towne Center, a great place to shop. Very nice neighborhood.

This is a great and fairly stylish hotel. The doors between bedroom and living room are glass french doors with sheer curtains. This was a bit of a problem as we put our son to bed at 8 pm and had to sit with very little light and the tv way down so as not to disturb him. Otherwise great place

The location was great. I've stayed in this area several times and you have to drive to get whatever you need (i.e. make copies of paperwork, fax something, get a haircut, food, hallmark cards, etc.). There is a strip mall that has it all and it's connected right to the hotel. You have access to health clubs, movies, and a variety of restaurants. The location is 15 minutes away from Washington DC and not too far from Maryland. The only thing I didn't like about my stay was the front desk staff. They were not very helpful. They gave me the impression that they didn't want to be bothered by any special requests or questions. The rest of the hotel staff was great and very friendly. I would have given this place 5 stars if it weren't for the poor service I received from the front desk staff throughout my stay.

I was on a business trip and decided to stay at the Comfort Inn, Dulles Intl airport. Its been a while since I've stayed over at a hotel. Overall I think the place was great. The staff was very helpful with the things I needed. The breakfast provided was pretty good too, nothing fancy like eggs benedict.
The only thing I would modify is the placement of the lighting in the room I was occupying. It was not bright enough to what I would prefer and it a little difficult ironing my clothes.
The area is great, very central. Everything was minutes away. Traffic isn't that bad either.

It's a nice hotel for the family getaway if you plan to visit the new Air and Space Museum. Great location, nice staff, and the free breakfast, internet and the social time are a big give for a family travelers with kids.

On a business trip to the city and found this location to be a fantastic jumping off spot for my stay. Driving in the city is difficult but the staff was very helpful with confirming my directions and making suggestions to get places faster. Enjoyed the pool and the whirlpool. Great way to relax after a hectic work day. Would stay here again!

We went to Herndon to pick our son up from Dulles airport. He was returning from Iraq and we hadn't seen him in a year. The hotel staff was wonderful. They upgraded our room so we had plenty of space for us and our 6 children. The pool was clean and the children had a great time swimming. They helped us with directions and gave us ideas of fun places we could take the kids. The suite was clean and had everything we needed. The breadkfast was okay. Just the usual. That is the only thing I think could have been better!

[...].Room was dirty, smelly and stuffy. AC did not work. Hide a bed was broken and lumpy. No extra pillows. No shampoo, one small soap.For $150 a night we would expect much, much much more.Run, do not walk away from this dump of a property with terrible, rude employees

went to visit the DC area....drive a bit a way, but very very nice to come back to after a busy, hectic day in the busy DC area!!

I stayed at Candlewood Suites for leisure, I didn't want to impede on my friends while visiting. The suites were perfect for me because I saved money on food by being able to cook for myself. Also, the staff was wonderful... I left a somewhat expensive blouse in the closet and didn't realize it until I was home. I called and the front desk called me back within an hour saying they had it and held it until my friend could come pick it up. Great customer service! I've had to deal with much worse, and never came up with my belongings in the end!

We wanted to spend a few days exploring Manassas and other parts of Virginia so this hotel was exactly what we needed. Our experience at the hotel could not have been better and while there is a charge for Internet service in the rooms, there are free computer terminals in the lobby. The hotel is modern, nicely furnished and clean. we would happily stay here again.

The entire property has undergone a $2.6 Million dollar renovation that you have got to experience! All of our suites have been renovated which include: new carpeting with sound proof padding, drapery, accent walls, kitchen vinyl, kitchen flooring and new granite countertops. In addition, we have added new furniture and fixtures which include: sofa beds in every suite, kitchen chairs, desk chairs, lighting and artwork. You will be thoroughly impressed with our new modern suites. The lobby has also been completely renovated to better service our guests. We now have a complimentary business center so that you can check your flights and print out boarding passes. There are lounge areas throughout the lobby so you can relax or read a book. We have increased our seating capacity for our complimentary breakfast buffet and evening social hours. The hotel now offers complimentary shuttle service within a 3 mile radius of the hotel, Monday- Friday, 6am-10am and 4pm-10pm. Front desk will take care of requests.

The Hyatt Dulles Airport is certainly a nice hotel. The room was immaculate, spacy and nicely appointed. The bed linens were top-notch. The only down-side to this hotel's location is that it is located in a business park, so there are no adjacent restaurants or bars. Of course, the hotel has its own bar and restaurant, but both were pretty pricey in my opinion for dinner.
