This is the second time i have stayed at this hotel and by chance in the same room. We found the room comfortable with table and two chairs, coffee maker, microwave and small fridge. I also take my dog, so its good for any pet owners. I think the location is great for restaurants and shopping. Also not far from historical sites. Hotel would be hard to beat for the price.

After driving through strip mall after mall after sprit mall with every imaginable chain restaurant we got to the hotel. It was very clean and the staff very friendly. The room was roomy and comfortable. Alas the fitness room was out of commision. The breakfast was adequate. All in all a good place for a nights stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel. The staff was great for check in. I had a few issues with my room but nothing worth complaining about. It was a typical hotel that was busy and loud at night on the weekends which I had hoped to avoid. I wouldn't stay again but for what I paid, it was fine.

Good for a nights sleep

This was just a place to get some sleep & take a shower on our way home. It served that purpose. We traveled the east coast & this was right off the highway which was great. A little hard to find the entrance but it was ok. The room numbers are small. It was probably because it was so late & we were tired but wish they were a little bigger. It was an inexpensive hotel and we got breakfast in the morning which was a plus. I'd consider staying there again.

Not what we expected!!!!

We were in the area planning for our upcoming wedding. We found this hotel and thought it would be perfect for our many out of town guests during the wedding. Well, after our visit in person we have gone with another hotel (Hilton Family) that offers much better rooms at the same rate in the same area!!
The reception area and business side of the hotel is just as pictured and are great, but the rooms were not nice. They are old, smell bad and just in need of some updating and work. The room was clean, but I did not feel comfortable in bare feet or lounging around on the furniture. Needless to say, we checked out early and found a new hotel for the remainder of the long weekend.
If you are looking for somewhere to sleep for a night and are ok with only 20 channels on the TV and subpar rooms, then you'll be fine.
Look around...there are great hotels in the area for same price.

When we checked in the 1st room we had was dirty, the bath tub was broken, the phone didn't work, the air conditioner was LOUD, and the room was SMALL! When we called the front desk they sent a maintenance man to look at the room, who got rude with us! They then up graded us to their executive room which was a good size but had a dirty towel from the last occupant on the floor in it! We also went to call for room service only to find out it was closed for the night at 6pm! I will NEVER stay here again and I will NOT recommend this place to anyone!

This will be my second time staying in this hotel. The room is not that bad considering the price. The rooms still smell, but overall the place was decent enough. I also check to make sure this hotel was not listed on the Bedbug registry. That was a big plus for me.

I have to say, I have stayed at some of the world's great hotels. The Ritz and Brown's in London, George V in Paris, Waldorf and Algonquin in New York City, Banff Springs in Banff, Alberta. For overall comfort, roominess, friendliness of staff, quality for the money, the Homewood Suites at Fredericksburg is on par with them all. Yes, it's not as fancy or famous. But the accommodations far exceeded my expectations. There were three of us in my party and I wanted three separate beds -- not a "roll-away" or "sofa-bed". When we walked into the suite and found that the accommodations were more spacious than most apartments, we were overwhelmed -- two full bedrooms, a living room, and kitchen. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We stayed for three days on a 10 day east-coast Civil War Battlefields tour. The breakfast was the best of our trip. Really, the only downfall of the Fredericksburg Homewood Suites is the location. It's a couple miles from the historic section and, because Fredericksburg's roads are very "round-about", it took a good 10 minutes to get downtown. Otherwise, I say this hotel is outstanding and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. You can’t go wrong at the Homewood Suites, Fredericksburg.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Homewood Suites in Fredericksburg on 7/1/2011. We stayed for four days and the trip was one of the best rooms we've ever had. The room was huge and definitely could accomodate a family of 4. We requested a room with a couch/bed and we received it. Extra linen for the bed was in the closet. Room had plenty of lamps, and full kitchen (even if small). The room came with a coffee maker, a hairdryer, ironing board, iron, and dishwasher. Housekeeping will load your disherwasher when they provide cleaning and the hotel supplies dishes (already in your room). The pool was fabulous and so was the hot tub. They even have a laundry room so you may wash your personal items. If you have to travel, this is the way to do it!!

I was worried about this hotel after I read some negative reviews, but it was fine. Actually, the location is nice; tucked away from the road.
No, it's not luxurious; not pretty in the rooms. But it was clean enough, safe, bed comfortable, and the shower was stronger in force than mine. Would not tell someone to stay there unless they just wanted a cheap place to stay.
Good for the 52 dollars i spent.

The room was not up to standard. I have stayed at 1 star motels that were the same or better quality than this 2 star motel.
Two of the lights did not work. One light was plugged in to a outlet that did not work. There was no outlet by the other light - so it was not plugged in. The nearest outlet was by the TV. I had to put the light on top of the TV and use the outlet by the TV. The clock radio did not work - no time no radio. The overall room was old looking. The grout in the bathroom was black in places.

Mold in the bathroom and on the heat and cooling unit. People yelling at 2AM and again at 4AM. They don't clean under anything - food under the dresser from the people in the room before us. The sheets did look clean. We went out the second day we were there and came back to the room only to find the card keys did not work. We had to go back to the desk and get new cards.

adequate accommodations for the busy visitor

Our room was very adequate. Clean and comfortable to sleep in. We were busy in the area visiting relatives and these accommodations. Worked out well. Next time we would likely ask for a room near the rear more since the out front road traffic was noticeable at first. But , this didn't seem to bother our rest. Over all it was a good experience.

I usually only travel once or twice a year for model train shows, and, as is obvious from my last two trips, no great distance. Actually Super 8 and ESA are the only places I have stayed the last 4 years. The staff at all of the locations where I have stayed have been friendly and most helpful. I guess the only complaint would be the super 8 in VA Bch because the building interior is beginning to show the effects of wear and age.

At first glance, happy with choice- but the hotel was NOT PERFECT. The cleaning people were very friendly, but a few people at the front desk were less than helpful. There was damage to the bathroom when we got there, but it was not unbarable. Next to our room there were a handful of room deemed "unsafe" with was a tad disconcerning. I had an open drink, and there was a bug floating in it the next morning. Only bug I saw but still gross

The hotel was nice and new! The room was clean and the accomodations were good. The bed was a little too firm for me but otherwise ok. There was noise coming from behind the walls when other room showers were running but otherwise ok. Nice place to stay while visiting Fredericksburg!

we enjoyed your pool and pol area.The location of this hotel was great., it was within walking distance of everything.The lady who checked us in was a first time manager and did a very good job with several things that we asked for.She gave us a ground floor and got us the fridge and microwave immediately after we asked for them.She got an A+ with us!We will stay here again next year.

Overall my stay at Quality Inn at Central Park was wonderful. The first night of a three ngiht stay was not enjoyable due to exceedingly loud guests in room next door (until 4AM). The front desk was very helpful and moved me to another room that was very quiet and well appointed. After the move I had a wonderful stay -- free Wifi, fridge / microwave in room and a comfortably furnished room. Quality Inn is located near shopping and dining at Central Park and is also close to downtown Fredericksburg. Despite the rocky start to my stay, I would definitely consider staying at this Quality Inn again.

Super front desk staff, smiles and working well :) Overall a great stay! Rooms were warm and other people thought so also... On our trip we found this at every hotel/motel... energy saving? We asked for a fan and they got us one immediately. Needed a car repair shop, they knew of one...There is shopping and food all around... SUPER LOCATION!!! They should have two people working the breakfast bar for the size of the hotel (5 stories)... very comfortable and clean... Pool was weird and busy, but we swam anyways, turned out great :)

The room was clean. Pillows and linens were comfy.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. breakfast was great. It had snowed the day we arrived and the hotel is near a hospital, so the snow plows were working all night and you could hear them while we tried to sleep. I asked the front desk clerk if they had a fan that I could use to block out the noise, she found one! Made a big difference!
