Decent for the money

I recently stayed at this hotel. The staff was great for check in. I had a few issues with my room but nothing worth complaining about. It was a typical hotel that was busy and loud at night on the weekends which I had hoped to avoid. I wouldn't stay again but for what I paid, it was fine.

Good for a nights sleep

This was just a place to get some sleep & take a shower on our way home. It served that purpose. We traveled the east coast & this was right off the highway which was great. A little hard to find the entrance but it was ok. The room numbers are small. It was probably because it was so late & we were tired but wish they were a little bigger. It was an inexpensive hotel and we got breakfast in the morning which was a plus. I'd consider staying there again.

The room was clean and everything worked which was very impressive, shower could have used a little work but not bad, the shower was clean. I expected the room to smell bad but it wasn't bad at all. It was a very enjoyable experience. Thank You.

Not too bad for the price

This will be my second time staying in this hotel. The room is not that bad considering the price. The rooms still smell, but overall the place was decent enough. I also check to make sure this hotel was not listed on the Bedbug registry. That was a big plus for me.

Below standard for a 2 star motel

The room was not up to standard. I have stayed at 1 star motels that were the same or better quality than this 2 star motel.
Two of the lights did not work. One light was plugged in to a outlet that did not work. There was no outlet by the other light - so it was not plugged in. The nearest outlet was by the TV. I had to put the light on top of the TV and use the outlet by the TV. The clock radio did not work - no time no radio. The overall room was old looking. The grout in the bathroom was black in places.

Mold in the bathroom and on the heat and cooling unit. People yelling at 2AM and again at 4AM. They don't clean under anything - food under the dresser from the people in the room before us. The sheets did look clean. We went out the second day we were there and came back to the room only to find the card keys did not work. We had to go back to the desk and get new cards.

adequate accommodations for the busy visitor

Our room was very adequate. Clean and comfortable to sleep in. We were busy in the area visiting relatives and these accommodations. Worked out well. Next time we would likely ask for a room near the rear more since the out front road traffic was noticeable at first. But , this didn't seem to bother our rest. Over all it was a good experience.

I usually only travel once or twice a year for model train shows, and, as is obvious from my last two trips, no great distance. Actually Super 8 and ESA are the only places I have stayed the last 4 years. The staff at all of the locations where I have stayed have been friendly and most helpful. I guess the only complaint would be the super 8 in VA Bch because the building interior is beginning to show the effects of wear and age.

The room was clean. Pillows and linens were comfy.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. breakfast was great. It had snowed the day we arrived and the hotel is near a hospital, so the snow plows were working all night and you could hear them while we tried to sleep. I asked the front desk clerk if they had a fan that I could use to block out the noise, she found one! Made a big difference!

the service told us back to back rooms queen and double not a problem then not possible when we got there ended up with two doubles. not too bad maintance and upkeep not very good wallpaper pealing some holes in walls that had not been repaired but no buggs and clean. was suprised no fitted sheets on beds they were made with two flat sheets. really not a big deal just different. rooms were on the backside near truck parking at the restruant next door so we could hear them a lil most of the night but it was not realy disturbing. this place needs better upkeep maybe the maintance man needs to get a new job or light a fire under him

Room was pretty clean and comfortable, but lacked a few things. There was plenty of room for a desk and chair which would have been nice for working or studying. The heater/AC unit had a broken thermostat so could only be turned on/off by unplugging it from the wall. At least the heat worked. One of the bedside wall lamps was pulling out of the wall, and the room card key was revoked before actual checkout -- not acceptable. I guess you really do get what you pay for.
