This hotel was very nice for the price. Widfe said we'll return again just for the breakfast, but room was clean and well appointed. Pool looked nice but didn't get a chance to use it. I'd stay here again. Note the four stars only because this is not a new, luxury property - but still a very, very nice place.NOT RELATED TO THE HOTEL ITSELF - Don't bother looking for a better price on the BW site - their guarantee is very restrictive and corporate customer service poor. This is actually the second time [...]has bested a corporate or other travel site. Book on [...]!

we stayed at this hotel while visiting family in the area ... it was close to them and conveniently located to everything and everyone! our "suite" was just right for our stay and the free wifi was great! as was the complimentary breakfast ... AND free parking .. so add those things into the value and it was even better!

It was a nice place to stay and a good location. There was a room mix up and had to change rooms mid-trip, but the staff was polite and i was more or less compensated for the inconvenience.

Lots of good stuff, could use a bit of help

East to locate, off the highway with mature trees/gardens around the property. My room had seen some hard use: iron melt on the carpet, scrapes in the wood finish on cabinet and desk. I liked the suite-like room layout, very comfortable bed and desk space. Could barely use the couch: stiff, hard and too deep to sit in comfortably without a bed pillow. Helpful staff, really enjoyed my 2 dinners in the lobby open area restaurant. When I first saw it I wasn't sure I'd be comfortable, but the wait staff was great and the food was memorable.

Getting to the hotel is a bit difficult because of all the construction going on nearby. Getting inside the staff is very friendly and courteous. The room is clean and beds are comfortable. Staff is quick with any request you may required. I asked for a microwave 5-10 minutes later I had a microwave in my room. I recommend this hotel; very affordable for it's location.

Perfect stay for my business trip

First of all, the staff is wonderfully cordial and extremely pleasant to work with. No shortage of smiles at all, no matter what time of the morning you need their help. The room was simple, but very clean and comfortable and it functioned as the perfect place to work from in between meetings. If you need to press your clothes, you may want to check with the desk to see if an ironing board is available since there wasn't one in the room. I would definitely stay there again and recommend others to do so, too.

Was coming into town for a with my partner and our dog, a shepherd. It was our first trip with her, so we weren't sure what to expect, but the nearby park (with a forest path) and high school football field made for a big space. The staff was friendly and reliably accommodating, and over the course of a four-night stay, got used to seeing the behaved doggo in the lobby. The room was nice and clean, the sheets soft enough, the towels weren't scratchy... it wasn't luxury, but for dog-friendly, it was outstanding. Breakfast was standard continental fare; a better brand of coffee would have been nice, but that's a little thing.

I have never met and dealt with such wonderful and polite staff! The hotel was very nice and quite updated. Although small, as one would expect in a travel stop hotel.. This place met my expectations and more. The staff were very friendly and very accomodating! Would definitely come back when in VA.

The hotel is only a mile or so off of route 66 which is a straight shot of about 10 miles into downtown DC and Georgetown. Of course the DC traffic is makes the trip a bit longer than you would expect. The hotel was nice, clean and the fireplace in the courtyard was treat. We just used the hotel as a sleep spot so we could head downtown and it was a wonderful value. The staff was friendly but we really didn't need much. They have open computers in the lobby with nice size screens. We both have iPads so the free wireless was a big treat for us. All in all I would recommend to anyone looking for a decent place to stay in DC that is conveniently located and a good rate.

The facility was undergoing remodeling, but we never knew it. The facilities were clean, room was outstanding, the staff were wonderful and the hot breakfast buffett had just about anything one would want!!!! One thing that would help others, is that the GPS directions are incorrect for Tom Tom and Garmin. Get exact address from hotel to find hotel more easily.

We went to the Rally for Sanity and this hotel kept us sane while day tripping in and out of D.C. It is close to the highway and just a few exits to the nearest metro station. The staff was really friendly and festive, as it was Halloween, and one staffer donned a "darma intititive" costume, that was amusing! I've stayed at other "long-term stay" places that did not clean the rooms daily or bring fresh towels like this hotel did. Although, I would have liked a choice in keeping lightly used towels to have less environmental impact, but that was not an option it seemed.

We were very impressed with the hotel suites. Very clean, staff was very helpful and friendly. Liked the idea of the free laundry and fitness area for those on extended stays. Had a nice incidentals area where you could pick up snacks.
Will definitely consider next time we need to be in the area.

Nice hotel for the money. There was no pool but it was April so that was ok. All rooms had a kitchen which was nice. The staff was friendly and the beds were very comfortable. It was also a short drive to the Metro which was nice because we spent our weekend in DC.

The room was not clean, looks like the hotel needs some updating. There was an issue with the toilet running every 5 minutes, but that can happen in any hotel. I must say that the staff was very friendly and supportive. There are many choices in the area, so unless they update the hotel, it is not a place to stay.

Spacious Comfortable Room

The Mason Inn delivered great bang for the buck compared to other area hotels I've used for business. Room was clean and spacious. Staff were all very nice. Food in the restaurant was not up to the same standard as the rest of the facility, but was satisfactory.

A clean comfortable room in a very new and nice facility. However no soap (Had my own) and no paper and pen in room to write anything (left my briefcase in the car)when I got a cell phone caall and needed to take some notes.

We knew it was a simple hotel so we didn't expect anything special but I was very upset because there were several stink bugs crawling around in our room.

I hated this hotel. I had to wait at the front desk for someone to show up to check in. It was fairly clean but very dated and not very comfortable. I was there for one night and that was enough. There is no coffee for you in the morning. I have stayed in less expensive hotels that were much nicer. I will not go back.
