Staff was super friendly. Location was the best thing for me. I drove in to town for business but did not want to drive around town everywhere i went. The hotel is located right across the street from the Metro station and I used that to my advantage. The hotel has a very modern and contemporary look and feel. Only thing I wish it had was a pool but its not that big of a deal for me. I will be back for business a couple times this year and this hotel will definitly be my top choice.

We chose the hotel for a four night stay because it was close to family and the metro and the price was right. Staff attentive and friendly. We booked two rooms for three people and one room was on a business plan which included breakfast...for ONE of us. We thought this was a bit odd as we assumed the two in that room would each be entitled to the breakfast. The clerk who checked us in added a few more breakfasts to our stay which was really appreciated. The hotel itself is nicely appointed and quite elegant. We were told it was renovated about two years ago. Our room with king bed was very nice and comforable. Really liked the easy to use heat control. Would have liked a shaving/make up mirror and perhaps slightly bigger and plusher towels. Hall conversations were easily heard as were our next door neighbor's, but not worth complaining about.
We would stay there again.

The hotel is located close to Reagan Airport and has shuttle services to the Airport as well as the Metro. This is a big help for visitors having business in downtown area and looking for a cheaper lodging. The staff is helpful and cooperative. Rooms are comfortable with basic amenities. It is worth the money.

The overall stay was average. The only problem was there were several ants in the room. There was no food or food particles in the room so this was an unusual siting. Other than that the beds were comfortable and the staff was courteous.

good location to see washington , the staff were very helpful and they let me keep my truck in the parking lot after i checked out so i could go and sight see and not have to pay to park.

not bad, weekend stay, free parking,...eat @ resturant food good,......short walk to metro and short drive too georgetown across bridge.....during summer months on weekend (sat) nice flea market short walk downtown rosslyn (5 blks up hill).....plenty nite life @ georgetown......indoor pool @ 2pm.

The Westin Arlington is located in such a wonderful location, with tons of food and shopping options away from the craziness of downtown DC. It's also extremely conveniently located 2 blocks away from the Ballston Metro Stop-so if you do need to get to DC, it's a hop, skip and a jump away.

This is an older hotel and shows some wear but overall was clean. The staff was friendly and the location is convienient , a 10 minute drive to downtown DC. If you just need a place to sleep and bath in between sight seeing this is your place.

Close to the mall and metro

The hotel was about a 10 minute drive from Georgetown. The Parking lot was beiing renovated= all parking being valet and costing $12 a night. If I would have known parking was going to be an extra fee I woul have just stayed in DC, which was the sole reason we were staying in Arlington. On the up side Kai, one of the parking attendants was upbeat, prompt and enjoyable to interact with!! The motel is aroun corner from the mall and many places to eat, however, we had a hard time finding places to eat that were open late.

The area is nice and quiet. The room is clean and also nice to have microwave and fridge inside the room. There is also supermarket nearby. The only disadvantage is that the transportation is not convenient - there is bus connecting between the hotel but only one every 30 minutes or even longer. You can also choose to walk to the metro station - it actually feels quite nice if the weather is good but it takes about 25 minutes to get to the nearest metro station (Court House).

The hotel has no amenities, extremely small rooms, and the staff isn't the friendliest. However, the location is perfect. There is so much around the hotel and it was a short metro ride to DC. I would stay here again for the location only.

I really enjoyed the stay at this hotel. Having lived in the DC area for 12-years and recently coming back on business I found the hotel to be conveniently located. Crystal City is making strides to be more than a daytime office haven and it shows.
The rooms, amenities, etc. are what you would expect at a Hampton Inn. It's a very short walk to the Metro as well. Staff was pleasant start to finish.
Warning though to all that book through the Big O (naming the site flagged it for inappropriate content) and pay ahead of time. Hilton Honors points are not awarded when doing so. This was news to me and probably shouldn't have been if I read the fine print, but I was disappointed to find this out.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. FYI: It is one mile from the Rosslyn metro stop. That info is not clear in the hotel description and map. We were only there for one night but in general were pleased. The room was very spacious and comfortable. We didn't need the kitchen, but I think it'd be very useful for people on a long-term stay. On the downside, my husband found and killed a small roach in the room.

Overall, experience was acceptable. It was very frustrating that they don't offer free wi-fi although they state you can get it in the lobby, they don't provide the necessary code to log-on and the service cuts you off frequently. Most other hotels I've visited in the past 3-5 years offer free wi-fi in the rooms and the lobby.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. My fiance complained the bed hurt his back but I was fine. The metro is pretty much underneath of the hotel which is great!

Wa positively surprised as I did the reservation last minute. The taxi from Reagan costed 15 Usd, check in was very easy and the room was really clean, had a full kitchen. The Metro is hust a few hundred meters away, and there are quite a few Restaurants, Pubs and stores around.

The hotel offered shuttle to the Metro, which is a HUGE benefit in the DC area. Biggest issue was very thin walls between rooms. Seems headboards were butted next to each other and we could hear "everything" going on in the bed in the next room. Staff was freindly, continental was a bit below what we exoected, Hotel was clean, but we got what we paid for. No place to walk to for shopping and very limited restuarants within walking distance.

I went to look for apartments in Arlington because I am relocating from out of town. My stay was uneventful. The staff were helpful, and there was no reason to complain about the room. It's a budget motel and it's old, but the rooms are not dirty. Being walkable from the Metro or a $6 cab ride away was very nice.

Excellent location- 2 blocks from Metro, walking distance to many restuarants, drug store, and grocery store. Stayed at Residence Inn Arlington and enjoyed the suite that sleeps 4 but has extra bonus of a living room and full kitchen. Quiet. Fabulous, scrumptous full breakfast with great, friendly service. Hotel clerks at front desk not very friendly or welcoming though. Parking is in garage underneath hotel with guard good part of the day. Would definitely return!

The Inn of Rosslyn is a silver dollar throw from all of the sights in downtown Washington - only 1 mile. Via the Rosslyn Metro Station we are also close to National Airport Old Town Alexandria Arlington Cemetery Iwo Jima and Mt. Vernon. The Hotel is a quaint affordable option in a quiet setting yet only minutes to the airport corporate offices and government installations. There is a free shuttle to National Airport. All rooms have cable TV and include a continental breakfast. The time for check in is between 3pm and 9pm. I am a female business traveler and would defintiely stay at this Holiday Inn again. The hotel is convenient to the airport and downtown and offers free airport shuttle service. The front desk service was exemplary - they truly understand what quality service is all about and assisted me with identifying some reliable local restaurants and other shops. The rooms offered ample desk/work space, free internet and had in-room coffe. More important, the rooms were clean and comfortable - and the elevators to the rooms operate on a room key card for additional safety. A reasonable price for comfort, safety and an accommodating staff - I was very happy and would recommend this hotel to other business travelers.

The room was comfortable and clean, shower, sink, Internet all worked fine. The lobby is nice and the staff are polite and helpful. I especially appreciated their indoor parking (free!) and easy access from the garage into the hotel. The major disappointment was the breakfast. It's nice that they have a restaurant in the hotel (nice view over Washington, DC) and the buffet format is convenient, but the food was only passable. It was freshly prepared but just plain boring.

The hotel was located just two block from eateries, metro, bank, and so much more! The rooms were large enough for all of us, though it would have been nice to have adjoining rooms. The restaurant in the hotel served a good breakfast and dinner. There was a parking garage where the car sat for almost all of the time since the hotel was near whatever we needed or could think of. This was a great family experience.

Good value, clean rooms, right across the Key Bridge from Georgetown. Attentive staff, though I found communication to sometimes be difficult. Nice restaurant, nice bar. $20 per night to park is a bit steep, but most hotels are sticking it to people on parking these days.

Very nice hotel, well located. comfortable room and friendly staff. Just beware of the hotel restaurant, a bit pricy, there are places around where u can catch a quick bite. There Ciosi across the street with nice tasting breads etc.
Would have been nice if the internet was complementary . All in all this is a great hotel and I would stay here again.

The Palomar Arlington is a good package value and avoids the higher costs of downtown Wash DC. With the Rosslyn Metro station and the Circulator bus nearby, there isn't anywhere you can't go inside Wash DC.
When I checked in I asked the concierge (the registration clerk) about the closest Catholic Church so that I could go to Mass the next morning on Sunday. Most hotels have a file drawer with church information, but the Palomar evidently didn't, so the clerk got on Google and printed the directions for me. The church would have been a 20 minute walk. When I tried the Google directions, they were correct to a point--and then there wasn't the street that the map indicated. I walked for another 40 minutes, winding my way through Georgetown University and other streets before I finally found the church. I was about 10 minutes late for Mass. When I got back to the hotel I explained what had happened to the manager on duty; he apologized, said he would correct the directions, and then let me enjoy brunch "on the house".

The staff were helpful and pleasant and the room was perfectly clean. The bed was a little hard and could stand to be replaced but other than that all was good. Access to the metro was very easy.
