Inexpensive, right on hwy 40 for easy access.
Room was clean.
Wifi was available but kept dropping off - pretty worthless.
Travel Lodge was a good spot just to crash for the night and get early start.

Clean comfortable rooms, good breakfast. Only complaint was that the pool was a little cool, but we had fun playing in it anyway.

We stayed to visit Dinosaur Nat'l Mon. Good access for that. Room was clean & nice. Staff wa very friendly & breakfast wa great. However, the pool was so very cold & a disappointment for our kids for sure. Pretty small swimming area. Other than that it was very good.

We visited Vernal to look for an apartment for my daughter. We have never been to the area so we did everything available in the area. We visited the beautiful Flamming Gourge. We golfed the local 18 hole course in Vernal. I would recommed a visit to the Vernal area to anyone. Even if you are not of Mormon religion.

Enjoyable stay at a nice hotel. Close to many things (including Cafe Rio). Great for a family. Plenty of sleeping area thanks to two Queen beds and a pull out sofa bed. In room fridge and computer area are nice features also. Beautiful drive to Vernal and surrounding area had lots of recreation activities

We arrived a little early but this was no problem and we were able to access our room straight away, the room was comfortable and quiet to say we were on the main road through town. Lovely pool and jaccuzi. We were given vouchers for a buffet breakfast at the restraunt next door.

The good, the bad, and the really ugly

We just stayed one night. The indvidual at the front desk really couldn't speak English. I was asked to sign a form that did not contain the room rental amount agreed upon with you (Orbitz). I asked several questions and none of them were understood and, therefore, unanswered. I did finally sign the form trusting all was well (and it was!).
The room was clean and acceptable. But the bathrub "creaked" when I stepped in for a shower. It sounded as if there was nothing under the tub to support it. Weird feeling! Of course, I didn't fall anywhere, but...
I don't feel I would recommend this Econolodge in Vernal, UT, to anyone else due to the two items mentioned above.

we were promptly greeted and checked in at the hotel. our room had an extremely small bathroom and we ran out of hot water after 1 person showered. the room was a bit outdated, and a little overpriced for what we received. overall, an acceptable one night stay at a tidy hotel room. what more could you really ask for?

Good hotel for the value. Wish is was queen beds rather than regular size.
Only real complaint, seemed as though there were smokers in the non-smoking section. Room was ok, but hallway was filled with smoke smell.

Although this hotel is a bit old and out of date, our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The inclusion of the microwave and the fridge were great for us. We would stay there again for sure.

Our stay was ok. It was clean. The beds however are extremely hard. Found cheaper places in town not listed on Orbitz by just driving around. Would probably stay somewhere cheaper next time.
