The hotel is a brand new 4 story U shaped building that surrounds an outdoor pool/reflecting pool/firepit area. The main floor offers a lobby with commanding mountain views, two private meeting rooms and prefunction space as well as breakfast/social hour seating that is comfortable and slightly contemporary in design. The hotel is steps from the South Towne Exposition Center and the new Real Soccer Stadium. Utahi1/2s best skiing is a short 20 minute drive up the mountain. A wonderful "home-like" accommodating when you're traveling on business

It's located conveniently near the highway, quiet and features a comfortable apartment like suite. The room design and layout is interesting and not the normal "open tunnel" that you normally find. I've stayed here multiple times. I'm not a huge fan of the white ginger soaps, conditioners and shampoos, but it was certainly a reasonable attempt at something different

We had 2 funerals to attend in 2 days; so, I searched for a resonably priced place to stay for 1 night. We saw the sign that said Hyatt Suites - my first clue. We opened the door to our room and were pleasantly surprised. The suites have a full sized fridge, dishwasher, a small cook top, microwave, cookware, dinnerware, and a comfortable sitting area. All were in an open floorplan that made the room feel larger where ever you were. The room would make a comfortable apartment for 1 or 2 people. Breakfast was nice as well.

Brought my family which included 2 toddlers. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was perfect for our family. Used the fit was room each night as well which was great. Overall very happy and satisfied with out choice.

Clean, quiet and easy access. Breakfast was great and something different every morning. There was remodeling going on but never noticed it at all. Would definetely stay again!

This was the second time we have stayed at the CottonTree for our ski vacation to Alta Ski Resort. We knew we would be happy with everything and weren't disappointed. Staff was courteous and helpful, room was large, bed was comfy and the thermostat worked great! We were always cozy despite the freezing cold temps and snow outside. Breakfast bar was totally adequate for us and if anything was low the staff was quick to replenish the supply. It's in a great location and close to at least three excellent restaurants---Texas Roadhouse Steakhouse, McGrath's Fish Grill and Olive Garden, plus the mall is right across the street. There's also a Wendy's across the parking lot for a quick dinner. We definitely plan to stay here again.

Budget base for snowboarding

A basic clean hotel for those on a budget. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room itself is pretty basic, no fancy TV (CRT!), just a little clock radio, coffee maker. Was hoping for a minifridge but our room did not have one. Showing its age, but its clean. Internet access was good, if you need to print there is a pay access outside, but airline checkin & printing boarding passess was free. Included breakfast also basic, but it gets the job done. One coin op washing machine & dryer on site.
Pretty good location to hit most of the Utah snow resorts, cheap places to eat, shop.

This hotel was located next to a large mall and plenty of restaurants so the location is great for a business traveler. The hotel itself was a typical Holiday Inn, very basic but clean.

Great location right off of I-15. Right across the street from a mall and several restaurants. Convenient for anyone traveling with pets. The hotel/room interiors were not as updated as other hotel for the same price but pets are allowed for $10/night which is rare at most hotels. They offer a great breakfast and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

They comped me for the wireless access ... didn't expect a kitchenette in the room, since I haven't stayed at an ESA before. Was pretty convenient since I was traveling with pizza in my cooler. There wasn't any security in the parking lot, and they couldn't tell me whether there were cameras ... had a full moving truck out there and couldn't see it from the room (parking was very full) so this worried me a bit. The coffee in the lobby was the best I've had at a hotel...No ice machine, though.

It has the feel of an older hotel, only it's been modernized. The rooms were very nice-looking on the interior. Good value to have a kitchen with your hotel room...that you don't find anywhere else for the low price you pay. Only thing is the room we stayed in was kind of dirty...the sheets had hair in them and the comforter had something questionable on it.
Other than that...it was just fine.

Very clean, friendly staff, reasonable rate, and a great location. Upon checking in, I requested a mountain view and the receptionist gladly accommodated. I would highly recommend this hotel to colleagues traveling to the Salt Lake City area.

Staff was very personable and the room was very comfortable. Room had up-to-date features and clean. The hotel owner has paid a lot of attention to detail, which is often overlooked by many.
