We had an excellent stay at this Best Western. Although we had booked for 5 nights, the staff was willing to adjust our stay to 4 nights since the day of the funeral for our family member was moved up to Saturday instead of Monday. The room was clean and the staff kept it clean our entire stay. It was quiet and the breakfast was great. We would stay here again.

Utah Ski Vacation

Hotel was great for our purposes. My son and I traveled to Utah for a week of skiing. Never been out West skiing and experience was awesome. Hotel provided what we needed. Great breakfast every morning to fill us up for the slopes; daily housekeeping with clean towels and made bed; pool and jacuzzi to relax in after long day of skiing. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Helpful hint - if skiing in Utah, make certain to rent a vehicle with AWD. Snow comes in fast and heavy and trips up the mountain not possible in vehicles with only front wheel drive.

The hotel is a brand new 4 story U shaped building that surrounds an outdoor pool/reflecting pool/firepit area. The main floor offers a lobby with commanding mountain views, two private meeting rooms and prefunction space as well as breakfast/social hour seating that is comfortable and slightly contemporary in design. The hotel is steps from the South Towne Exposition Center and the new Real Soccer Stadium. Utahi1/2s best skiing is a short 20 minute drive up the mountain. Great hotel

This was my first experience in a Hyatt House hotel. My only complaint was we booked a 1-bedroom and we were given a studio. My husband and I were in the area for a Military ball and we really were hoping for the extra space for the stay but the studio was definately adequate. The room was very clean. There was a mini kitchen with a full size frig. The room was nicely divided to separate the living space from the bedroom. The bathroom has a large stand up shower ,no tub, which was great for us. The pool is outdoor but is heated. It was clean and there were always people in it. We had a great stay and will seek out Hyatt Houses in our travels.

It's located conveniently near the highway, quiet and features a comfortable apartment like suite. The room design and layout is interesting and not the normal "open tunnel" that you normally find. I've stayed here multiple times. I'm not a huge fan of the white ginger soaps, conditioners and shampoos, but it was certainly a reasonable attempt at something different

Very clean, friendly staff, reasonable rate, and a great location. Upon checking in, I requested a mountain view and the receptionist gladly accommodated. I would highly recommend this hotel to colleagues traveling to the Salt Lake City area.

Budget base for snowboarding

A basic clean hotel for those on a budget. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room itself is pretty basic, no fancy TV (CRT!), just a little clock radio, coffee maker. Was hoping for a minifridge but our room did not have one. Showing its age, but its clean. Internet access was good, if you need to print there is a pay access outside, but airline checkin & printing boarding passess was free. Included breakfast also basic, but it gets the job done. One coin op washing machine & dryer on site.
Pretty good location to hit most of the Utah snow resorts, cheap places to eat, shop.

ESA in Sandy

They comped me for the wireless access ... didn't expect a kitchenette in the room, since I haven't stayed at an ESA before. Was pretty convenient since I was traveling with pizza in my cooler. There wasn't any security in the parking lot, and they couldn't tell me whether there were cameras ... had a full moving truck out there and couldn't see it from the room (parking was very full) so this worried me a bit. The coffee in the lobby was the best I've had at a hotel...No ice machine, though.

It has the feel of an older hotel, only it's been modernized. The rooms were very nice-looking on the interior. Good value to have a kitchen with your hotel room...that you don't find anywhere else for the low price you pay. Only thing is the room we stayed in was kind of dirty...the sheets had hair in them and the comforter had something questionable on it.
Other than that...it was just fine.

The staff is warm and friendly. The room is clean, modern and well equipt. The nearby mall and restaurants make it convient to walk instead of driving to accomodate your needs. Overall, a great place.

If you have a car and don't near be near downtown Salt Lake this is a good choice. Walk to resturants and shopping . Not exciting but very clean and nice staff.
