parks and unique, striking desert sandstone terrain of Southern Utah.
Of course, there are several world class ski resorts
accessible within minutes of SLC. Park City, the main venue for the 2002 Winter
Olympics, is a 40 minute drive up Parley's Canyon. The slopes are famous for
the light, fluffy snowfalls caused by the low humidity and the lake-effect.

my only complaint is that the hot tub was broken for our entire visit, and that the elevators were awkward to use. But the location, staff, breakfast, and rooms were all amazing. Will definitely be staying there again.

Suggestions: Melons need to be cut in thin slices, served individually ( grouped) on a tray and not in chunks served in liquid, will have better taste.
VERY IMPORTANT!
We should have been notified of the TRAX availability which was free instead of telling us to walk 1 mile to Salt Palace Convention Center.
It was dangerous to walk alone especially at night.

Very good hospitality... The room had everything I'd need for a quick interview. Even had a refrigerator.. The blow dryer was not working but they quickly arranged fora spare one (was on time for the interview!). Everyone was helpful and it was great that they had the airport shuttle as well...

The hotel was pretty good. Rooms were a bit dated but it had everything we needed, lots of towels, shampoo, condition, etc. Breakfast was okay, didnt have a waffle maker or anything like that, but they had cereals, toast, etc.
Biggest complaint is that the pillows were too fluffy/tall. I like my pillows to be a bit more flat and they were super puffy pillows. But overall a decent stay

Great experience. Such a friendly, polite and helpful staff! Some of the most comfortable hotel bedding I've ever experienced. Great location and everything we needed. Only drawback..lighting is a bit too fluorescent and dim.

Good except for the fact when i showed up i had to pay 12 dollars more just to park at the hotel i thought i already paid all the expenses for to stay at. Other than that the hotel was descent and the breakfast was AWESOME!

You get what you pay for

The hotel charges 59-79, without any special rates or discount websites, which is low for the area. But that goes without saying you get what you pay for. They don't offer vegetarian options at breakfast, the hotel soaps look like they are donated from other local hotels (brands didnt match up), and the stairwells are unkept.
The room was clean, the bed comfy, and staff nice. We just need a place to sleep, it wasn't a vacation we invested in.

Very friendly staff, decent location (close to downtown and the Temple). Hotel food was average, but it was nice to have room service. Beds are too hard for my own preference (and mine didn't have the "dials" to make them softer - although I've never found those dials to work in other hotels). Wireless internet was free and fast. 24-hour business center was fantastic - printing was free, which was helpful as I needed to print out documents for my business trip.

The staff were so responsive, courteous and helpful. Great spot to stay. The only issue is the construction outside, but I understand that is to be done soon and it did not disturb my sleep or anything. Just a big of walking around the work.

The hotel room was nice. The only thing is we were on the 6th floor and looking directly into another building. Not exactly a city view. Also, they do not validate parking. We either had to park it ourselves and pay $20 or have them valet park it for $17 for 1 night.

I loved the hotel. I would definitely come back. We were greeted with smiling faces. Loved the soap, shampoos and conditioners (all were Aveda). And they had umbrellas for us to borrow, since it was raining.

It was just an awesome place to spend our Christmas get away. Beautifully decorated and on the historic register. Only issue is paying $10 a day for internet. The $10 a day for parking was worth it for the convenience. So very close to everything with its downtown location. Overall just great!

The guest at the Peery Hotel is welcomed into a large, comfortable, historic lobby with a grand staircase and blazing fireplace. Fresh water and coffee are provided in the lobby. Staff are friendly and helpful, eager to please. The decorations are all Old Style Western. The room was comfortable and quiet. One small complaint would be the size of the bathroom. I had to squeeze between the sink and the toilet to reach the shower. But that's a minor inconvenience. They promise that a pub will soon open off the lobby, so it will only get better!

Very nice facility. Clean, downtown location, very comfortable room, nice business center and lounge area. Having been in the travel business for over 35 years, it was another "layover" hotel - but at least a nice, clean one with very helpful staff. If I had business in downtown SLC, I would stay there again.

The room was great. The entire place was clean and welcoming. The staff were all accommodating and I loved the big fire place in the lobby. One issue, however, was that you couldn't get a single normal t.v. station (besides FitTV and the news) without paying for it. There were better t.v. channel options on the ellipticals at the gym, which I enjoyed while I was there. I also found the menu choices at Elevations to be predictable and uninspiring. The food was fine but I expected more from such a large hotel. I had an easy time getting to and from the hotel using an Express shuttle but, again, I thought because of its size and numerous other amenities that it would have its own shuttle service. I recommend getting one! Overall, it was a good experience. I'm not raving, but I'm also not ranting.

I was in Salt Lake for business and the customer service at the Marriott was excellent from start to finish. Great room service, front desk and house keeping...it was all there.
My one gripe (and this is a big one especially if your in for business)would be the so called high speed internet service. I paid 12.95 for a slower than wifi connection when connected via ethernet. The paid wifi was equally as slow. Strangely enough the free wifi in the lobby provided faster internet than the paid service.

We spent 15.00 to up grade to a King bed, we still ended up with a very hard queen bed in a very nice room. I'm sure the room was an up grade but not the bed which is what the most important thing was for us. Every thing else was great.

The room is located right next to Temple Square. The city is very clean. There is a great brewery a mile south within walking distance. Only spent one night, but would definitely stay here again. They don't tell you in the description that parking is $5. Other than that had a great experience all around.

I really enjoyed the hotel. The building is beautiful right in downtown and there is no shortage of attractions nearby, especially the Temple Square and Conference Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (mormons).
The only problems that we found was that the mattress and pillows were very firm and both my wife and I had hurt backs the next day. The food is good but it is given through the cafe in the lobby and what you get complementary is a small quantity. I was hungry until I ate some more elsewhere.

Very nice hotel, especially good for the price. Free parking so that's a bonus. Just beware on Friday and Sat nights- there is absolutely no parking so we have to park at a meter since everyone was out and abuot going to restaurants/clubs. Great location, close the the highway, nice staff. Wasn't too pricey and def well worth a stay in Salt Lake!

Ok, where do I start? No internet for five days, and they kept telling me and registering guests that it should be in service soon. On day 2 when I asked about internet service, the response was "what are your complaints today?" Each day I had to go to the front desk to ask for coffee and towels for my room. The ice machine was out of order and the office's response was only that they'd heard that maybe it wasn't working. Lamps wouldn't stay plugged in so I taped the cords to the outlet. For five days/four nights, each day when I returned to my room I had to go ask the staff to re-key my key card. When I asked if they would go ahead and key it for the remainder of my stay, they refused and became rude and argumentative. The complimentary breakfast apparently included limited coffee only - most days out of coffee. They refused to print a reciept for me. And on and on. I normally would not take the time to speak poorly of a motel stay but I will never stay at this hotel again and I encourage the same for others.

I usually don't leave reviews unless something is really good or really bad. I have always had excellent experiences with Days Inns in the past receiving very nice accomadations for the dollar. This was my first experience staying at one that was unsatisfactory. The other tennants were loud, offensive, the rooms were dirty, smelly, and the staff checking us in was very new and highly inadequate for the job. We were scheduled for a 2 night stay there but only stayed one night it was that bad. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere!

Generally excellent service but there was some "drumming" going on close to our room. Not sure what it was but I did call and was told it would stop in about 20 mins and it did. I would check next time before I booked a room.

Hotel is only accesible from one direction. Hard to find. Otherwise, well worth it. Superb rooms. Fantastic, huge 5 course breakfast (or more). Great location to the Energy Solutions Arena, only 3 blocks. Free parking.

It was inconvenient that there is no shops near the hotel. But it is good enough if you are going to just stay at night to get to the airport . They have free shuttle bus service from antd to the airport. The breakfast was nice. The staff was friendly and gave us appropriate information.

We just needed a place to sleep, leave the car and get shuttled to the airport.
Shuttles & parking used to be included but now they charge $15.
The only bad thing about this Super 8 is that they do NOT have FoxNews!! It's the most watched and without it there is no need to have a tv in the room.
