This older hotel has been recently renovated. It was a fabulous place when new and is still a bit run down in places, but the price was right and the location great. We were visiting with family and it is closes to their home. Our only issue was trouble getting someone to answer the front office phone right after we checked in. And the phone did not seem to work properly in making an outside call.

This is a great Historic Hotel. We had a complimentary upgrade to and 'Executive King', which is greatly appreciated. The room and public space is all very clean. In fact, ask for any room cleaned by 'Tevelia'...she does a great job. This is my hotel of choice in the greater Salt Lake region.

We found the room to be clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, efficient, and we felt very welcome. The parking was tight and a bit hard to drive past because there was not much space. I missed having a blow dryer--other motels in the same chain have them available in the office.

When we first walked in my husband joked about whether or not our dog could detect bed bugs.
We were in town for religous meetings.
I was causious about going outside at night without my dog.
On other trips we have stayed closer to shopping and meal sources. These locations were not in scary parts of town.
The halls, floors and walls need maintenance.

The hotel is in a great location if you have any business in Ogden. It's centrally located with good access to the city amenities.
The hotel itself appears to have been updated sometime in the not too distant past but it still has a "dated" feel to it. The restaurants are good, the facility is clean and the workout & pool areas are well maintained. The only negative in that area would be on the hot tub - the water temp read 95 degrees but I don't think that was right. The hot tube actually felt kinda' cold to me.
My big negative here would be on the temperature controls in the room. The fan had 1 speed - "Hurricane" and while there was a fan speed button on the controls it made no change on the fan speed. I finally just turned the whole unit off, cracked the window open and dealt with it.

hotel was exceptional, however the service was just ok. 3-5 minutes standing at the front lobby wtih no one there. a staff member walked by without saying a word. long drive in from pullman, washington and was just wanting to check in promptly. room and everything else was great...

Not to shabby price in a great location. In walking distance of the outdoor mall, the baseball park and the restaurants and bars on 25th Street. Make sure if you get a parking place though, the hotel parking is limited and fills up fast. We drove to dinner and had to find a spot on the street, and get it moved by morning to avoid a ticket.

The motel rooms do not include tissues or a hairdryer. Also front desk said there were no extra pillows. Curtian in the room did not completely cover the window.

The room was very clean; really good breakfast; friendly, helpful staff; easy to find. The pillows smelled of bleach but at least you know they're clean. The pool was closed for remodeling while we were there, wish we would have known that beforehand. The mattress was very firm which didn't bother us.

I was there on business and have stayed there a few times in the past. The rooms are nice sized, the linen is fresh and I like the couch and ability to work at a desk. For the money, it's a good value but they could use a good update to the TVs in the room to something from this century.

my friend and i were driving through on the way from denver to sun valley idaho. your hotel was just a perfect place to stop and crash for the night. the staff was very friendly and the room was really nice. the bed was comfy and great pillows!!

We stayed At this motel so we could ski in the area.The room was nice we really like the shower in the room. it was large and relaxing. The bearkfast was a little disapointing.

Good location on the north side of Ogden. Staff was average, didn't seem to care that much. Room was a little cramped. A/C was intermittent. Bed pillows were uncomfortable. Breakfast was less than average. Minimal selection beyond cold cereal and toast. Would recommend for a good location near the interstate, city. No frills, though.

Everything a soldier needs. (swimming pool, hot tub, fitness center, breakfast with Belgian waffles) The maid cleaned the room every day. Shower was always hot. 8 minutes away from army reserve training center.

Just needed a place to stop for the night. It was easy to find and had a restaurant and gas station right there. There was a truck stop area right next to the hotel which made me wonder but the rooms were quiet, clean, comfortable, and had a nice view. The free breakfast was very nice and the staff was very friendly. May stay again in a few days when passing back through.
