Nothing special, but nothing bad. For mountain biking, they do have a locked and tagged area. No wash rack. Very close to the heart of downtown. Room was nice.

This hotel is not evry clean. My room is not very clean and it smells something. The location is very good as all other hotels in Moab.

The staff at the front desk were not dressed very appropriate. One had bleach stains all over his shirt. The room was clean, but the bed was not comfortable. We had a king size bed, that sunk in the middle, so we would just fall into eachother. They need new mattresses. The free breakfast didn't have much to choose from, but it was ok for a free breakfast. If you are looking for something more classy-this isn't the place.. but if you just want a place to rest your head and your out and about, this is a good place to stay.

This is the second time I've stayed here. Ordinarily, I don't stay at La Quintas because so many of them are run-down and not well run -- the chain is clearly not very selective. But this Moab hotel is far different: clean large rooms, nice bedding (not cheap synthetic stuff), and everything well-maintained. There is not a big breakfast selection, but free hotel breakfasts are not much of an amenity anyway (I don't like to start my day with bad coffee, dry cereal, and sugary pastries anyway).

Great Place. All hotels in the area were booked so we got on my daughters computer and found an opening here. All they had left was a room w/ King & pull out(3 in our party)
Everyone slept great-couch was even comfortable. Walking distance to many restaurants but Jays was our fav. Good pool, good breakfast,loved that they support the local national parks and many recycling bins were available-puts them above the rest in our book.

We used this hotel as our home base for visits to Arches and Canyonlands NP. Located at the north end of Moab, this hotel was excellent for this purpose - very close to Arches (5 minutes) and an easy 30 mile drive to Canyonlands.
The road noise from highway 191 was annoying if the room window was open. When closed, it wasn't an issue.
Service was very good and accommodating. The room was up to typical HIE standards. Good continental breakfast with excellent selection.

I had never stayed at a Holiday Inn Express and I was very pleased. Their staff was helpful and efficient the room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast buffet was very good and well serviced, and my children loved the big screened television in the room. I loved how quiet it was and how pleasant I found the house keeping staff. I would stay again in a second.

I had stayed at this hotel 2 years ago, and there was no change in the quality of the stay. It is a great location in Moab, within walking distance from restaurants and stores. The room was a good size, fitting 4 women and all our belongings without issue! This hotel also has a very filling continental breakfast, along with a hot tub that was wonderful to soak in after a long day of physical activity.

Old but well maintained. They really push the "john Wayne stayed here." I stayed twice, 7 days apart. The 1st night the advertised wi-fi Internet didn't reach my room. The 2nd night it was sporadic and unreliable, so if that's important to you, consider carefully. Others in our large group stayed at various other places and all paid a lot more each night.

The motel was quite old and didn't look like it had ever been updated, including a torn carpet and stained vinyl floor in the bathroom. It was clean and roomy. The most exciting thing was actually getting assigned the room where John Wayne used to stay! I could live with the rest.

Basic place to sleep

Our primary need was an affordable place to sleep and Motel 6 did the trick. We arrived late and tired, the hotel clerk got us checked in easily and before we knew it we were asleep. The room was small, but fairly fresh and much cleaner than a lot of hotels we've stayed in before, including other Motel 6's. In the morning there was a considerable amount of noise from neighboring rooms, but thankfully we were leaving. If you're looking for something basic and won't be spending much time in the room, this place should suffice. If you're a woman, at the very least bring conditioner- they provide soap and shampoo, but conditioner seems to have gotten the ax.

I booked this room for $49.99 online but when I got there, the sign they had was advertising rooms for $39.99. No breakfast served. Rooms are average, nothing special. If you just need a place to sleep for the night after doing activities in town, this might work.

The Red Stone Inn is Moabs Best Deal, centrally located on Main Street. Our property has 52 rooms each room has a small kitchenette, tung and groove knotty pine, with log furniture. Our rooms are well furnished comfortable, clean and have free high speed internet. All rooms are on the ground level with inside hall entrances. The Red Stone Inn has a 24 hour guest laundry, out door gas bbq grill with a covered picnic patio. We also have an indoor hot tub and nearby out door pool. Our property is within walking distance to some of the best restaurants, microbrewery, movie theater, shopping and galleries. We also have 16 pet friendly rooms and we are very mountain biker friendly. We allow mountain bikes in our rooms, we also have a bike work stand and wash station. We are only 5 minutes to Arches National Park or 30 minutes to Canyonlands National Park. Whether you are passing through town or plan to stay a few days, The Red Stone Inn is a great place to kick your feet up and relax.

Location is quiet and peaceful, which is great. I thought that the place is overall expensive for what one gets. It's basically like a hotel room, but more spacious due to a small kitchen and small living room area. Advertisement had a picture of a different location that was more attractive than the actual unit; so the add was misleading.

Felt old, having bunk beds in the lounge area makes it feel cheap, TV belongs to the middle ages. Furnishings should be replaced to make it feel fresh, poor lighting, dark condo, poor privacy, as if you open the blinds of the lounge it looks straight into a common garden! No amenities such as shampoos, soap, etc
Glad we only booked 3 nights! The only plus is the lady who checked us in, breath of fresh air! But that is where it stopped! Sorry for the bad review, but we honestly did not like it at all.

This motel is a gem. It's winter rates are among the lowest in Moab, yet the motel is several notches above the typical "low-end" motel. The beds were excellent, the decor very attractive, the amenities ample--even a phone in the bathroom--which I can't imagine using, but seems to be a staple in only high-end hotels. The breakfast was great--eggs, bacon and sausage, french toast, even POG (passion-orange-guava) juice which my son inhales and we haven't seen since Hawaii. Two thumbs up!
