This was my first time at the Travel Lodge in Wichita Falls. The check-in was quick and courteous. The room was quaint. This hotel is one block over from the Interstate going into WF. It was very quiet and peaceful.

The room was decent - a good place to sleep and shower. The staff could have been a little friendlier however it could have just been a bad day for them. I would recommend this to someone for a quick trip and if I am in Wichita Falls again I probably would stay there [...]

Well my husband and I stayed at the hojo for our anniversary and it was ok for the price but not all that great... The first night we were there and the only night we didn't have our infant son with us a bunch of kids were having a birthday party and overtook the pool and the second day the pool was closed... The main reason we chose this place was for the indoor pool and hot tub... The staff was friendly enough but the cleanliness needed some work still we slept well and mostly enjoyed our stay but like I said it was just ok...

Visiting relatives in Wichita Falls, we were looking for something close to them and the highway, and affordable.
Bingo! Super 8. The staff was neighborly and friendly, the room clean and comfortable, and the parking lots had room for all travelers, including truckers.
And if the complementary breakfast seemed short to anybody wanting more, their location was within walking distance (yes, even in 90° heat) of a Denny's.
Next time I'm in Wichita Falls, I know where to go. Thank you, Super 8.

We meet up with friends there, went out to dinner and then a night out on the town. The parking lot spots were not Texas size, My husband had to climb over from the passanger side to get in the truck so that we could leave. Then it was almost impossiable to back out of our parking space. (we own a Ford F-150) The room didn't smell good, there was no coffee maker or iron in the room.

The room was better than average and a good value. At least one set of stairs that I saw where not safe and they where still puting people on the 2nd floor. The room locks where the old mechanical type and not the electronic key cards.

Other than a few minor mishaps, the hotel was nice, the breakfast (though I didn't eat it) was warm, and smelled delicious. There were lots of kids there, but there weren't any noise issues. I'd recommend it.
The reason for a 3/5 on room comfort is because the room was either hot or cold--no inbetween. :-(

It was a nice hotel, clean, free WiFi, and the breakfast was free. I didn't use the pool and workout area but it looked clean. The staff was nice and it felt very safe.

I was there to pick up my son from tech school, I was very disappointed with how little there was to do in Wichita Falls. The stay would have been alot better if there had been Wireless Internet service so that I could have actually gotten some work done while I was there. The beds could have been alot more comfortable as well so that I could have slept better. I have stayed in alot of hotels for approximately the same price or even less that had free wireless internet service & had more comfortable beds. I was very disappointed.

Even though this was just an overnight stay the Hotel was very nice amd very clean. The front desk clerk was very helpful in leading us to some places to eat our evening meal and we actually found our way back to the Hotel. The only problem presently is trying to find and get to the Hotel for the first time. Once you exit off the highway there should be a big sign by the Sonic with directions to the Hotel. Great Stay,

Family of 4 with 2 dogs that stayed while driving to visit relatives. The hotel has been recently remodeled and was nice. However the rooms were small and have double beds instead of queen sized. It took a long time to check in because they couldn't find our reservation. We told them we had dogs but we were given a room on the 3 floor which was not convenient! The breakfast was good with hot eggs and sausage. The beds were comfortable but again, small if you have to share. Overall I would not stay here again. There are a lot of choices around this location.

This hotel was fantastic, not far at all from dining and shopping. Breakfast was awesome, and the bed was outstanding. It is quite new, so it's in perfect condition. Very quiet too, we will stay here again!

We got there late and left early. The room was very spacious and clean. Obviously a new hotel.

no hot water

A little upset

It was ok until I got up the next morning to bathe. No hot water. Also, we had house cleaning come and knock on the door at 10:00am, I told her we would not be checking out till 12:00pm. She again knocked on the door at 10:45am. I was a little put out by that.

Fabulous location for the price

We went to visit our son while at Sheppard AFB. The room was small for 3 adults to spend any great length of time in. The room/bathroom were not exceptionally clean as found in other hotels but adequate. The front desk service was very helpful and polite. The location for us was fabulous, close to AFB and right on interstate to get wherever we needed to be at in town.

The room was well supplied. Bed was comfortable. Bed linens were threadbare and blanket was heavily stained and filthy. They desperately need new bed linens.

I DO NOT recommend staying at this hotel. It is unsafe, and it is not a clean hotel. The pictures on the site are a LIE and everyone else that has negative things to say about this hotel IS telling the truth. I JUST came from there. The environment was unsafe, my door was warped shut so I had to get it just right to open it. You could hear EVERY little noise and people's conversations. Someone came in my room when I had the 'DO NOT DISTURB' sign on the door and took my towels....but did not replace them!!! The rooms LOOKED somewhat clean but if you looked around there was dust and spider webs everywhere and after a bit I could not breath and I ended up switching hotels. They tried to get me to stay and switch to another room but I said no 'i'm sure every room is cleaned just the same.' Do not stay here. It's not safe and it is not clean.

My Wife and I drove up from Dallas for a concert. All we needed was a safe/clean place to sleep and shower. Having read recent reviews here, we knew that the facility was aged. We took a chance and it was well worth it. As other reviews stated, this place has new furniture, carpet, tiles, fridge, microwave, cable, etc. Our room had no odors, it was quiet and well-secured. Free wi-fi worked well. No in-room iron, ironing board or coffee maker. We didn't miss 'em. The bathroom was small but fully functional. We paid $42 for a non-smoking w/king size bed (very comfortable). I was fully prepared to walk away if the recent reviews were wrong. They weren't. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was so accommodating and everything was so clean that the minor disrepairs were not noticable. We will always stay there when we go to Wichita Falls, TX.

The hotel is in a good location to be in town. It is old and pretty run down and therefore not attractive. Old bathroom style, cracked bathroom tile. But, the staff were extremely helpful, very friendly, and the room was very clean. Breakfast was rudimentary, unfortunately.

Could have friends over for little get togethers, and went out to eat quite a bit. Nice location, very quiet. It was incredibly affordable.
