Room smell of cigarette smoke.
Sheets and towels were clean, bed nicely pressed.
TV was new. Bathtub had some rust stains in bottom.
Straight shower curtain rod was old school.
For the price, it was okay. If your first or second choice is not available, this is a decent option.

It was better than I expected after reading the reviews. It was clean and the employees tried to make it a pleasant experience. It is an old motel. That is the biggest drawback, but I would stay there agaIn. Also, we had complimentary breakfast which was not mentioned anywhere.

Ok, for a one night stay

We were just passing through, so the one night stay was fine. The room was mostly fine, the bed was too hard, the mildew in the shower very annoying and the outside noise very loud. The breakfast almost made up for those inconveniences.

I went to Victoria to attend my Aunts funeral. I chose this Hotel because it was centrally located between the funeral home and my coucins house. It was easy to get where we were going from this location. The Hotel was clean, a little worn, but nice. The breakfasts were great that went along with the room. Scrambled eggs, sausage, Buscuits and gravy, waffles ect. Service was great and don't have any regrets staying here. Although we wern't able to use the sevice, you also get access to the YMCA by using your door card as a pass.

The hotel is ideally located for our visit to Victoria. We have stayed in this hotel before and paid less but the "local new venture" has raised the prices on all the public service facilities. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly.

Trip was for son's gymnastics competition and we needed a place to stay overnight. Other than the front counter, no additional interaction was made or needed, and that transaction alone was your normal business style.
We went to our room and it's your standard Inn type room. It had a microwave which was convenient, since I had to reheat my dinner from the road trip. The best were comfortable and the cable tv provided entertainment for the night. Not much negative or positive to say here. It's an Inn. If you have ever seen the movie Planes, Trains and Automobiles. It's the same type of places they slept in and with pretty much the same feel. If you need a place to stay, you can't go wrong with this place. I however, just now realizing that i'm a bit snobby, might pay more for a more glamorous Hotel. It was nice although, to grab a quick continental breakfast (orange juice and doughnut) on the way out, while checking out in the morning.

Hampton Inn is our choice...mainly because the staff is friendly and accommodating, the hotel itself is convenient, rooms are large, very clean and comfortable, breakfast is yummy and whenever we check in, there are always cookies warm and waiting! But mainly, the staff seems sincerely glad to see us, every time we check in...so it's like coming home.

I loved the hotel itself and the beds are Amazing! Only thing I had a problem with is I decided to leave a day earlier than what I had booked and the hotel when I checked in knew of this. Apparently she didn't tell the girl who was working after her what happened and she called me early the next morning and woke the baby and I up telling me I had to sign more papers. But other that that it was a good stay!

The rooms were clean and nice, and the staff was very friendly. They dont offer any typr of breakfast which is importnat when I travel as I never haave time to go somewhere before work. Other than that, this was a fine stay.

3rd time was a charm

Arrived at the hotel to find our 1st room was musky and smelled. The staff quickly arranged a 2nd room, where the bathroom was dirty (towels on floor and black streaks in the tub). The staff then arranged a suite where we found nice. The air humidifier needed to be emptied, but that wasn't a big deal. The rest of the night was relaxing and the breakfast was nice.

Great Place, Great Staff

We went over to attend a graduation of a friend of ours who lives in Jakarta, Indonesia. She had been working on her degree for 12 years. We know they stay at Marriots so we booked a room and surprised them her when she arrived, The morning of the gradation a huge storm caused the 9 am outside commencement to be moved to 4PM. The event was held inside a large beautiful church. The Hotel management let us all have late 2pm checkouts and were very understanding and friendly. This hotel has nice clean rooms and a free breakfast that includes Jimmy Dean sandwiches and make your own waffles. All in all a very nice stay and a very friendly staff.

Seriously, I paid how much for this

It's a bit pricy for what I got. Overall, it wasn't that bad but it needs some work. The ac unit leaks, the pool was closed for maintenance(not good in the middle of July), internet was slow. The people was nice and courteous and the place was clean. I just expected more for the $100/night stay.

This stay was okay. The rooms need more soundproofing. The non-smoking rooms smelled like smoke as did the hallways. Upon enetering the manually operated door the lobby was small,cramped and extremely HOT. The "super" breakfast lacked yogurt, and variety of items....

This hotel isn't close to much in Victoria. If you're there to do some sightseeing or need to be anywhere near downtown, you'll need to do a fair bit of driving to get anywhere from this hotel.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom area is in need of updating. There was no hair dryer. The TV got ten to twelve channels.
If you're a light sleeper, beware. Trains run through the night and you'll hear the whistles. Also, I could hear the water running in a nearby room when someone showered.

Found the room to be comfortable and quaint....small but modern and nicely decorated.. Had a problem with heater which staff offered to fix by moving me, but the night was chilly so I unplugged the unit. There was a fan in the room so this may have not been a new problem. for a Motel 6 it was expensive....59.00 but seems to be a general supply and demand issue in Victoria. I will stay there again.
