Room & courtyard is nice. TV's are old and don't get all channels. None of them get advertised HBO cause none have channel 123. Poor for relaxing after hard day. Staff acted unaware! But was friendly. Pool could use heater for guests. Doesn't cost that much compared to customer experience. How could I ask for that when I saw TV's like these on Antique Road Show!

The layout of the wheelchair accessible room was impressive as soon as I rolled in the door. This was a larger than average room so moving about was easy. Even the placement of the shower control and handheld sprayer were correct.
However, the beds were not accessible. The king sized bed was too high, I was not able to access it independently. Even my 6'4" husband commented on "sleeping in the balcony". The sofa sleeper was of typical height but the mattress was the absolute worst I have encountered. The wires in the mattress were quite uncomfortable as there was no padding over them.
When designing ADA compliant rooms there must be someone overseeing the details including the interior designer and furniture buyer. Don't get sloppy on this when you have such a well designed room to work with. This nation has many returning wounded veterans and retirees who must travel for medical reasons. Hotels need to rise to this opportunity.

Location is great! Extremely close to downtown but a lot easier to get into and out than the downtown hotels. Free Parking is a plus as well as free internet which the downtown hotels do not offer. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Coffee in the breakfast area is available 24 hrs. Hotel is pretty new and very clean. Great hotel for the price. Only downside was the bed was a little firm but nothing to complain about. All in all a pleasant experience.

We didn't spend a lot of time at the Hotel. I do think breakfast should be included and hotel parking should be less than $18 a day!!! The Riverwalk was easy access just across the street from the hotel and about a 5 mile walk to all the shops, restaurants and the Alamo. This was a nice family weekend.

Wife & I set out on a weekend getaway, checked in no problems walked all over the Riverwalk (short distance) to see the Christmas lighting. If you enjoying walking were comfortable shoes. Room was clean , hallways were quite, staff very helpful. Would stay there again.

I like to stay in hotels with a little character and the St Anthony does not disappoint. The rooms were large with 4 poster beds although they were a bit high. Not a problem for me but my parents ( in their 70's) struggled to get on and off the beds.
The hotel looks like it needs some updating although it was clean and comfortable.
Great location and breakfast was good value and quality.
All in all a great stay at a great price!

The hotel was great! Great service and great rooms and great food. The location kinda sucked. It was like a 45 minute walk to the nearing restaurant on the river...talk about blisters in you high healed shoes!! If you are looking for a hotel that you wanna stay at and not go anywhere this is the best!! But be prepared for a walk if you wanna look around!

My fiance and I stayed at this hotel for one night and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful and the proximity to the riverwalk and all the find dining downtown was amazing. I will definitely be staying at the hotel indigo again on our next trip to tx.

Nice place without the crowds of Riverwalk Loop

this isnt in the thick of Riverwalk; it is on the fringe of the busy areas. So if you want it a little quieter and dont want to battle crowds exiting your hotel onto Riverwalk, this is a good place to stay. River loop canal is only 5min away and Crowne Plaza is right on the river.
We had no complaints about our stay or choice of hotel. I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends

This hotel is pretty solid. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the location is quite good. The lobby is kind of tacky and the service, at restaurants and at the desk, can be uneven, but on the whole it's a good value.
It would be great if it had something like a 24-hour coffee shop in the hotel.

The location was ideal (although this obviously means expensive parking) and the lobby was beautiful, but once I got to the floor with my room, everything smelled like mildew. The room was ok besides the smell, but the bathroom was not very clean at all and had no counter space. There were hairs on the floor all around the toilet and base of the sink. The first morning, I showered before I realized there were no bath towels at all and had to dry off with hand towels. Once I requested some bath towels, the staff was helpful and apologetic. However, by far the best thing about this hotel was the bakery! Pastries were delicious and it was so nice to sit out at the tables on the sidewalk and enjoy my morning coffee.

Had a wonderful corner suite for a great price. Beds & pillows were very comfortable. The free breakfast and the free happy hour is a fantastic deal. Many in our group said it would be nice if the hotel had an on-site spa. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

I thought this hotel was definitely value for money. Number one, the location is GREAT! It is right behind the Alamo (one of the must see in San Antonio), and it's about a 3 minute walk to the Rivercentre Mall at which you can walk along the Riverwalk. It's beautiful. The only wrinkle is that the breakfast isn't all that great. It was mostly cold breakfast with the only exception for scrambled eggs. But it's better than nothing! Also beds are comfortable and the shower works perfectly fine - not like one of those showers that either freezes you or scorch you. STAY HERE!!

This hotel is located right on the riverwalk and is in the process of being renovated. I found the accomodations and location very nice and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. Let me warn you; however, that if you stay at the hotel during the on-going construction, ask to be placed far away from where the construction is taking place. The noise was incredibly loud and annoying.

Everything was perfect except the overnight valet price is way too high $35.99/night and the valet guy broke the storage thing on my driver's side door. Reported it to the hotel and they promptly took a statement from me and promised to take care of it through their insurance so I am going to give them some credit for being on top of it. Overall great stay. Great views from the balcones and the newly renovated suites on the 11th floor and above and simply gorgeous.

We love staying at the Emily Morgan! Very close to the River Walk and lots of other great stuff! The kids loved playing in the pool and relaxing in the rooms.
The only thing lacking a bit was the service in the restaurant...there wasn't always a host on duty at the front so it sometimes took a few minutes to find someone to seat us. The food was ok...not enough flavor for my taste, but not terrible either.
We'll definitely be back!

Pros: I do recommend this hotel, it is nice. What was nice about it were the following things. First the lobby was nice and as well as the front desk staff. The hotel is located right next to The Alamo and the River walk which was great for night adventures. The hotel restaurant was pleasant and did have a happy hour. The beds were very comfortable and did not want to get up.
Cons, Valet was not cheap it was $28.11 a night and they added someone to my room which I had to talk to the front deck to fix. I would suggest the parking next to the hotel not that much of a walk but it is only $10.00 a day so you have $18.00 Already. The rooms where nice but the bath/spa tub could use a little more updating and not a fan or the fogged glass doors if sharing a room with several people, but over all not bad. The worst thing I could say about this hotel was the pool area, it is small and the water temp was not at all what you would be hoping for, the pool stayed cold and the hot tub was way way to hot and the jets did not work.
Over all review,
I would recommend staying at this hotel it was nice and not bad besides price of parking.

We really enjoyed staying here. The location is great its so close to everything. Although the parking was 15.00 that would only be my one complaint. The room was nice. The staff was great! I will sure be back!!!

I arrived late in the evening and was excited to get into my room quickly. I was checked in and at my room within minutes. Unfortunately, the room had not been turned over. As soon as I reported the issue, I was assigned a new room, again within minutes. The staff was so efficient and helpful!

This place is 5 minutes away from Downtown, that was very accessible to my needs since I was coming from Houston for the Rock and Roll half marathon. Personnel very helpful and friendly. However, the place was average, just right for sleeping, and get out the next day. One thing that they need to oversee is the check out time, 11:00a.m, sorry it was too early.

Stayed for two nights. It was ok for just a place to sleep and shower. FYI towels there were mostly stained. Me and my girls were a little freaked out by that and actually air dried once. lol We asked for new towels twice but were given stained ones each time. It was dirt cheap though.

The "Kickback" amenity was appreciated, but the food service was disappointing. The drinks were
limited and only of "adequate" quality. The snacks were the same every evening and disappointing in choices and quality. The staff was gracious and
enthusiastic, but..... not compensation enough!
We were not expecting the same drink and faire options each evening nor the disappointing quality of the snacks.
We would stay at the Drury again. But we would forgo the evening Kickback amenity--except for a couple of mixed drinks the first evening.

When we drove up we were a bit skepticle but once inside and after staying we were very happy. The room was nice,clean and well appt'd. The balcony offered a nice place to sit and enjoy the day or evenings and get a bit of fresh air. The breakfast was good consisting of juice,milk,coffee,tea, muffins, waffles, cereal,toast,bagels, fruit,energy bars and more. The staff was friendly and helpful. The riverwalk was a block and a half away and the most action and eating places was about 5 blocks away. Would stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

This is a great small place to stay in San Antonio. It is only a block away from the trolley stop. If you don't mind a bit of a walk, you can easily get to the city's main attractions. The staff was very hepful and the room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast included fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, eggs, toast, bagels and English muffins, as well as coffee, juices, milk and teas. Free parking was an added bonus. We would definitely stay there again.

We were greeted promptly upon our arrival and the staff was very courteous. Our room was clean and spacious. The only concern I had was the price was a bit high because it was the weekend for the Rock 'n Roll Marathon and Half Marathon, but I figure all hotels raised their prices that weekend. Overall, this was a great location and a very clean room. I would definitely stay here again!
