Good, basic hotel room for the price. Wireless Internet was spotty, but the front desk provided an Ethernet cable. Door lock seemed a little flimsy and the bathtub fixtures were a little wobbly. Otherwise, fine. Bed was comfortable and a/c kept the room nice and cool. Room was clean. Located near a highway, so convenient, tucked in among fast-food restaurants.

We really enjoyed our two week stay. The kitchenette was more than we needed. The fact that all dishes, glasses, pots & pans were provided made it easy to enjoy some quick, cheap meals in our room. The hotel was clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. It is a great location, close to many great restaurants and a large shopping mall. We are planning on going back next year, maybe for a longer stay.

I was visiting a friend and decided to stay here. The location of the hotel, the service provided at the front desk, the room accommodations, and the cleanliness of the room and the hotel were very good!
The only problem was using the internet in the lobby. The computer or the modem needed servicing. I was told that the problem was a common one and if I wanted to use it, just unplug and plug the ethernet cable when it didn't work... which was every time I wanted to go to another page.

I was in town for business. The room was very clean, the A/C worked, and the front desk was courteous. However, the description said the hotel had Tempurpedic mattresses which it most definitely did not. The description also said the hotel had a restaurant on-site; again wrong. There are facilities for a restaurant but not currently operating. However, there are numerous restaurants of all ethic types very near to this location. There is wi-fi but it did not work my first two nights and finally did on the 3rd. I was told it worked in the lobby, but there was no way I was going to hold a video conference in the lobby of the hotel. If all you are going to do is sleep, the hotel is fine; if you are looking to be entertained at the hotel or looking for special amenities, this is not the hotel for you.

Confortable and clean room and restrooms. Very nice to enjoy with the family and the swing pool gave the opportunity that the children have a good time with his father meanwhile the mother goes shopping. The table good for take a little meal or work. The people in reception nice and helpful. The breakfast give the opportunity to save time before leave. The distance from the malls, dowtown and stores rigt: not to near, neither to far. Ice machine and vendor manchines well located.

I arrived a couple of hours before check in time..no problem..My suite was ready..2nd floor. The suite was clean, comfortable, and up to date with ammenities such as two TVs.,full kitchen...double queen beds..At 5:30 P. M., there is a free happy hour/margaritas, beer, wine, and a buffet style
meal such as buffalo style chicken tenders, grilled meat balls, and salads, etc. No need to pay for dinner some where else. Full breakfast...eggs, saugage, bagels, cereal, fruit, coffee, tea, juices...Folks this place is a great deal for your buck $$$$.

overall excellent quality for your money. rooms are quite spacious with a kitchen, living room, and a separate bedroom. location is perfect, right in the middle of everything and walking distance from great restaurants. the only problem was that the fridge made a lot of noise at night. the hotel is a bit old, but everything is in good conditions. happy hour gives you free beer and snacks of all kinds (hot dogs, nachos, pop corn, etc). free breakfast in the morning is warm breakfast (eggs, muffins, waffles) plus the usual.

Good if traveling with toddler

The most important feature for me it was that as I was traveling with my toddler, there is a huge grass area in which my child loved to play.

I was not impressed with my stay. They booked me in a smoking room and was advised it would cost $10.00 per night if I wanted a nonsmoking. Since it was prepaid, I had no choice. Also, the sign on the Motel sign advertised a lower price than I paid. The room was okay, but will never stay there again.

Smallest room all over the US. The room rate was 40 dlls the night and I was chargued for 60. The front desk sugested that I should phone for complaining because "they" didn't make the sale.

Found this hotel at the last minute. Very nice and clean. The location was good and very convenient to the convention center. The price was amazing and I'd definitely stay again.

As always I received friendly service. The desk clerk went out of her way to change me to the room I always like to stay in. The staff know me now after staying in this hotel several times and they are all very friendly and welcoming when I arrive. When I visit McAllen I have many things I need to do so the hotel is only used to rest. It is a quiet hotel and I am able to relax after coming back late in the afternoon.

We are located in the heart of the business district. We are minutes away from the Mexico border and surrounded by restaurants and shopping malls. McAllen Convention Center is less than one block from the hotel. This interior corridor hotel has an elevator and the guestrooms have either a king bed, 2 or 3 queen beds plus family suites with a separate kid's room. A microwave, mini-fridge, in-room safe, free high-speed Internet, desk, laptop desk, 32-inch TV with HBO and over 60 channels, plus table and chairs and sofa sleeper. The hotel was very nice in quality and service. The room was well kept and clean. Nice furniture.. The front desk was very helpful everytime I called with a complaint or question (slow internet, how to use the safe, how to use the shower...) There was complimentary breakfast, waffles, eggs, danish pastries, which I took advantage of. :)I enjoyed my stay in McAllen.

I am very pleased with the hotel and my stay was very pleasurable. The staffs were excellent and went extra mile to make my stay enjoyable. Because of their courteous and delightful attitude, I told them they will get my repeat business. My thanks to front desk staff called Rose; she went the extra mile to find out about where I could watch Tennis (US Opens) even though the hotels do not offer the requisite channel.

The room wasn?t confortable, in general the hotel looks dirty lack of maintanace, We travel with a dougther of 15 years, at breakfasta that was inclueded for 2 adults and 2 under 12, we went to have our breakfast and she asked for a one hotcake, and we ask for orange juice,(those were not included) so we finsh to pay, 8.29 dolars for the hot cake and 5.25 for the juices, almost 15 dollars, we decided to go have breakfast at IHOP and we eat so much for the same amount that was much better go out side to saty in. In our opinion was the worst thing of that hotel.

I was looking for a place to sleep close the chopping areas and this hotel was erfect for that. Despite the hotel looks old and kind of dirty it was confortable enough, staff is very friendly we were 3 adults and one child and therer was room for all of us. If you don't want a pay a lot for sleeping this is the option.
