The room was nice. It only had one washcloth and was missing several lightbulbs.
The breakfast was good, however some young people before us broke the waffle batter holder and it leaked all over the counter and floor. The floor was still messy when we left 30 min later

The hotel was great! The only gripe I have is that the "continental breakfast" that was provided. We had to make our own waffles and the donuts were stale. Other than that the staff was great and it was an enjoyable stay!

Visiting our daughter and her family in Lubbock, Texas was such a delight and the stay at The Ashmore Inn just made the trip a great one. The staff was great right from the check-in and housekeeping. The pool was very clean and the place was full but not noisy. Next to great eating and a WalMart! Right off the loop so we could get around the city with ease. We WILL stay here again. Thanks Ashmore!

The entire stay wasn't too bad. The only problem we had was when we got stuck in the elevator on the way to the wedding. The staff was nice and apologetic but it was crazy.

The Overton hotel was a very satisfying stay. Iv been in fancier hotels but this one had no problems. My gf has never been in a nice hotel so she was in aww with everything. The rooms are very very nice and new age looking so I was surprised with that. The staff was very friendly and professional. Over all it was a very good stay. No complaints.

Although there was construction going on next ot the hotel which made getting to it a little harder, it was worth it. Rooms were update and clean. Enjoyed the indoor pool, whirlpool and sauna. Continental breakfast was well stocked with an ample selection to get your day off to a good start. Great location close to downtown and Texas Tech.

We stayed at this hotel the night after the Tech vs. TX State game. The location is nice, because it's close enough to the stadium but far enough from all the traffic so that it's not so hectic getting in and out. Great place overall.

We stayed here cause we had concert tickets in lubbock. The hotel was great the room was really nice and big for the price we paid. The girl at the front desk was really nice and helpful. Also the lounge was awesome and the food was really good.

Good for one night. The outlet is far from the table. And there is only one outlet in some kind of proximity to a place to sit, but its taken by the alarm clock and lamp. The restroom is real small and your elbow, when sitting, is all up on the toilet paper. I'm 26 and just needed a cheap hotel for thee night. That's what this is. And the breakfast is boo boo, but there is a waffle maker. Just sayin.

I was a little apprehensive about staying in this hotel after reading a lot of reviews, not only on this site, but a few others as well.
Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised!.
The room was very clean, with what appeared to be new carpeting. Wi-Fi was great & the bed was comfortable. I would give it 3 1/2 stars!

This is an older establishment that is very close to the university campus. Evidence of remodeling in the past few years. Room was mostly clean, but needed some extra attention in the bathroom corners & such. Bedding & Towels were in excellent shape. Pool was not available. 24 hour Coffee shop right next door was a plus! Retail shopping very close to pick up the items you forgot! Decent Value for the cost.

I enjoyed my stay, it was nothing over the top but the lobby/entrance area was very nice. Dissappointed that the first room we stepped into ranked of smoke but the front desk immediately accomadated us properly. Enjoyed our stay.

Had to change rooms after checking in. Bed was not made in first room. Staff did a good job giving us a new room.

Room was not cleaned daily, bathroom really dirty, one trash can. Hotel staff knocked on door did not give us time to answer the door, just walked in immediately. Broken phone, use cell and got hung up when answered

good expiereince overall, the lobby smells to clorox but they have insight swimimg pool, the room was not cleanafter they checked us in, but they reacted fast and apologize. Also they had some problems with the system but for the price is a good

Everything was fine until a group of young adults came in loud and made too much noise. This happened on two nights. We left after the first two nights.

We stayed at Residence Inn to attend a funeral. We placed a note on the clipboard next to the door to please provide more towels and some blankets from the housekeeping staff. We returned in the afternoon with no more towels than we started with and no extra blankets. My husband had to go to the front desk to request them. We also requested a crib and what we got was a pack-n-play of which my son did not sleep very well in because he was as long as the crib. We could also tell they didn't vacuum each day because there was still the same piece of lint on the floor in the same place every day we were there.

Slept well on the king bed. Kids slept on the pullout - I could not lay on it but the kids did fine.
The room was clean.
Breakfast was not too appealing so I did not try it.

We arrived late at night and left early in the morning, passing through basically. We were pleased with what it was for the price. No frills. It was a clean, comfortable bed and a clean restroom. That's about it. Nothing special, but we didn't want anything special and the price reflected that.
