Nice for the Price, but too noisy

The staff was very accomodating and pleasant, perfect southern charm! The hotel had a nice bar, restaurant and lobby. Our only complaint was the noise level in our room. The air conditioner sounded like a jet engine. You could even hear and feel the vibrations from the units in the adjacent rooms. Luckily, the front desk provides free ear plugs.

I had a last minute trip to Houston. The hotel was great and the room was just lovely. The wifi was fast and the hotel staff was fantastic in taking care of my needs. Would have liked a better option for getting to Hobby.

My room was nice, clean and roomy. But the shower handle was not there. I did not notice this until I got up in the morning to take a shower. The shower did not work so I tried to take a sponge bath from the sink but it only had very very hot water no cold water. I had to go to a friends room to shower. They had not fixed it by the time I checked out.

This hotel was clean and comfy, but the area it is located in is scary and filthy.
It is located within 100 ft. of a club where lets say people dance for money, and the not so desirable clientelle attend. There seems to be many urban pharmacists hanging out on the street corners and urban campers everywhere. I would not return to this hotel. But the hotel itself was fine.

Was in Huston for the week for business. This place was adequate the room was clean, some staff was nicer than others but overall not bad. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast but it seemed to be ok if you just want something to take the hunger edge off. The business center was down so I had to find a fed ex store to send and receive faxes. The internet connection was intermittent. All and all its not a bad place.

I attended the Final Four in Houston. Always a great weekend of basketball, golf and food. Since we are not in the room a lot, I always look for cleanliness, location, and a low price. This motel was extremely convenient, right off I45. It looks very new. It was very clean and the price was surprisingly low. The front desk people were very friendly. I do have to say that the free breakfast was only cereal, pastry, hard boiled eggs or biscuits and gravy. That was much less than one normally finds - no cooked eggs, meat, or fresh fruit. I would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

The staff was excellent and non-intrusive. The room was clean, but mine did have a mild-moderate aroma of cigarettes.
Overall the experience was great though and I'd stay here again as long as they're priced significantly lower than the Hilton next door. The room included free Wi-Fi and a good flat screen TV. The thermostat control for the air conditioning was perfect, and very fine changes could be made if desired. The king size bed was comfortable and clean.

4-5 Star Frequenter. This Omni is packed with tons of neat things to entertain adults and kids alike, from the coi ponds (did NOT smell fishy) to the Bar. There is free parking and by the freeway near many things, but most likely there will be a toll charge along the way. I felt very safe with security/police around 24-7. They say there's bottled water in the room, but bring your own! They charge $6 a bottle. I'm picky so this just may be me, but they could have kept the place up a little better (vacuuming halls, general cleanliness). Its an older establishment but still nice. Staff was more than pleasent and helpful. They even allowed me to bring my Pocket Parrot with no hassle. That was surprising! I would definately stay here again and can't wait to bring my kids. Cool place, worth the price$.

The pool and hot tub are a little on the small side. it is best to rent a car if you plan on staying for an extended period of time. Great location, clean room, no street noise, secure vehicle, just what I needed. The hotel does not have much staff, however I did not need, nor did I want to pay for it. Easy check in and out the next morning with no problems.

When we checked in, we had to stay one night in a smoking room. The staff assured us that we could move the following day. They were right on top of it the next day and we moved with no issue.
The room was clean and nice and the location was good for our purposes. The breakfast was good. The outside patio and pool area were nice.
We would have preferred a small refrigerator in the room.

This hotel was in a convenient location for my business and for shopping. It was a few blocks from the Galleria and other shops, easy and safe walking distance to everything. Great little restaurant across the street, Le Peep, for that occasional meal out. Convenient 24hr. CVS around the corner.
Hotel room was standard type room but felt more spacious than most. Kitchen was great, equipped with essentials only though.(No decaf coffee in the room!) Toilet didn't work but was fixed quickly, even though maintenance man left my door propped open long after he had gone......

Good Hotel for stop during travel

We stopped here on our way back home from vacation. The staff was not overly helpful but not rude. The rooms were great. The only downside was there was only one washer and one dryer for the entire hotel. Also, the pool was outside and closed at 10.

Nice place and very courteous staff. Shuttle driver took the time to get me over to car rental center even though they were very busy - that was above and beyond I thought. AC units are extremely noisy.

In town for a job interview. The hotel was perfect. Conveniently located just a few minutes from my destination yet access to everything else was quite easy, food, entertainment, etc. The best part about my stay was the complimentary breakfast which was much more than the usual continental bagels and coffee. Would definitely recommend to anyone in town for a short business stay.

Overall, very good stay. Very helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Door to the room could be sealed a little better. Large gap all the way around the door allowed for noise from the hallway; fortunately other guests were not noisy during the night.
Close to the TMC and right off a major freeway to get back and forth from the airport.
Plan to stay there again!

And friend of mine and I had a day trip from Dallas to Houston for an event. I love SpringHill Suites. Every location I've been to (one in Dallas and one in Orlando) has always been beautifully decorated, clean and friendly. We stayed in a room with 2 Queen beds and honestly there was enough room in there that at least 2 more people could have stayed comfortably. The hotel was quiet. I was surprised at how many people came down for the free (and delicious) continental breakfast, because you certainly couldn't tell by the noise. SpringHill Suites will always be my first choice hotel here on out.

I only stayed for one night so it did the trick. I liked the flat screen television. The hotel is near the airport but not near much else. The hotel receptionist couldn't find my reservation. The room was nice enough. The iron barely worked though.

My wife and I stayed here 5 nights while we were in Houston for appointments at the medical center. The room was very big and clean. There was a slight odor of mustiness but not bad. The pool and hot tub were awesome and the staff was very friendly. We will be back.

Overall the hotel was nice and clean. However, the air conditioning units are old. When you turn on machine rattles and is loud, making it difficult to sleep.

we stayed here because its pretty close to reliant park. the area was okay it wasnt as bad as I thought it was gonna be. The room was okay the bed was really firm n hard. overall it was clean. the bathroom was tiny. if u stay with someone whom is not ur spouse or hasn't seen u with out ur clothes then this is not for u there is no room to chg in bathroom. tv and air con worked real well. even though the bed was hard I would probably stay there again.

Hotel was clean staff that I talked to were friendly.... Although the continental breakfast advertised was the option of cherios or muffins.... Also if you don't like chinese or pizza don't get your hopes up on local delivery.

Need improving on their continent breakfast, very cheap. Clean rooms, tiolet rim needs repair, no iron, very dim, needs more lamps or stronger watts. Glooming room. Good place for in and out travel. Lots of places to eat. Away from traffic noise.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a fabulous value - LOCATION, roomy, comfortable, micro, fridge & coffee maker, Manager's reception w/wine & snacks, breakfast with hot items included. Gym was small and needed service, but the equipment & availability were serviceable. I'd recommend to all and will definitely come back.

the room needs new beds, but they were suprisingly comfortable for the age. They do need real bedsheets to place on the bed, not just a folded blanket instead of the cover. nice pool, free simple,dry breakfast. good price. and the room did not have the musty smell most lower price hotels have.
