A Four Star Experience

I have never stayed in a 5 star hotel, but if this is 4 stars, it couldn't be better. This hotel is beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful, and the room comfortable. The concierge offered to have us driven to the Cultural District when we asked about getting there. We were pleased and impressed.
The hotel restaurants are very good, too. We will definitely return.

From the minute we arrived The staff was top notch. When we needed a cab to get to the stockyards the front desk called a car service that was a very nice Tahoe that took us anywhere we wanted to go for a flat rate of $10.00. This was cheaper and much nicer than any cab we could have taken. The staff was knowledgeable of the area and attractions/events going on. The room was very clean and comfortable. Upon leaving we called for our car and headed to the lobby to find it already wAiting on us. We will be staying here again as we go to ft worth many times throughout the year and the Sheraton is right up there with anywhere we've stayed.

I think this hotel is an excellent value. We ended up staying an extra night in Fort Worth and changed hotels to spend the last night at the Sheraton. It was much less expensive than the other hotel, but twice as nice. The entire staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel is well kept and there are plenty of amenities....Even a spa! I highly recommend this hotel for a nice place for a fair price.

The staff here is very friendly, the room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, and there's easy access to major highways for travel to different parts of the city. Room comfort was easy to maintain with digital heating/cooling controls. I also chose this hotel because it was close to a park with a good running trail. We'll stay here again!

The hotel is what I expected clean, secure and roomy.
The room had a desk, sitting area and comfortable bed that matches and my home. All was great, except for two disappointment, my room was located across from the IT network of the building, the computers made a constant beeping noise, all night long, it was annoying. The second disappointment was the shower, the floor of the tub was mushy or like standing on a water bed, so while you are showering you floating back and forth very disorientating after a night out on the town.

We spent the night to be closer in town as I as having surgery. The room was clean enough the bed was freshly made and had lots of pillows. The shower/toilet area was tight I'll never understand why they make these rooms so small! Takes some room from the closet and move the vanity down and make the toilet area larger.
The heat in the room didn't work well. It took forever to even think about warming up and then I still had to wear a jacket. Once we went to bed we finally got warm.
All and all the staff was friendly. That old saying you get what you paid for applies here. Overall a nice to stay, but I wouldn't stay for a prolonged period of time.

My boyfriend and I went to Dallas/Fort Worth for Thanksgiving and we had the perfect stay. The wifi was free, the room was big and comfortable, breakfast was the best I've had at any hotel and the staff was very friendly. We ended up being on the outskirts of Fort Worth, but it wasn't a huge issue since we had to drive everywhere anyway. I'd definitely stay here again.

Upon checking in, I was surprised that we needed to give our name and address again to enter on their records (they did it). They stated that the computers did not transfer to their records. Then we also filled out a written form again. How much duplicate info does a hotel need and why don't the two computers talk to each other?

Nothing fancy, but location was good for us. Plenty of excellent food choices in area-even within walking distance when weather is good. Room was clean. Breakfast was acceptable, but a bit low on protein choices so tough if you're low carb unless you like hard-boiled eggs. Staff was very nice to deal with. Parking is plentiful and multiple access points so you're sure to be close to your room. Also, multiple elevators so accessibility isn't a problem if one should malfunction. Nice work out room. No complaints. Will return on next visit.

Apartment-like hotel for a good price

We were in Fort Worth for a wedding. This hotel looks more like an apartment complex than a hotel. Our room was spacious, with a full kitchen, refrigerator, etc. -- plenty of room to unpack for a few days and relax. The hotel is a bit older, in fact they told me it was the original Residence Inn that all the others are modeled after. But, it's well kept and clean. The staff are friendly as well.
Our only glitch was that upon leaving our room for the first time, the door wouldn't close and stay locked. Maintenance fixed it right away.

Hotel with a new name change

Hotel name was changed from Radisson to Crown Plaza in the computer system 2 days before arriving. When I tried to check-in, they didn't have my reservation in the new computer system. Had to wait about 10 minutes for the clerk to go to the old system to find my reservation that I booked. I got the same price as I booked thru [...]. [...] needs to make sure name changed is done in there system also.Had scaffolding & contruction going on outside of front desk with signs being changed that blocked area a little. That should be straight in a few weeks I would guess. Sleep number bed was great like the one I have out home. I stayed at the hotel in July & will still come back for the beds. Everything was clean in room.Didn't eat anything there, but did visit the lounge.

Bath was not working. When they sent someone to fix it, he looked at it for 5 min., and said he'd be right back. Never returned. Desk person was disinterested (at best). Not very clean. All but 1 ice machines in the hotel were not working. Overall lousy service and bad attitude. especially for a hotel that rated high. Facilities were no better than average, and maybe a little less.

The overall experience at this hotel was good; but there were two initial problems. One, air conditioner did not work properly and there was no hot water in the shower. Both of these problems were corrected by the time I returned from my first meeting.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for the U of M vs Alabama football game. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is for the restaurant food service time. The hotel was filled with fans for both teams and we were getting back to the hotel from the game @ 10:45 pm and later. The kitchen closed down at 11:00 pm and many of us came in just after 11:00 hungry and willing to spend money on food. It was very disappointing that the hotel had not thought in advance to extend their time to accommodate guests for this event.

This is a great spot to stay if you are looking to be close to Sundance Square. It's walking distance to all the restaurants & shopping. Not walking distance to the Stockyards though.

The exercise equipment did not work. We went every morning to see if things were better, no luck. Ice makers on 2nd and 3rd floors. The 2nd floor one never worked. Had to use 3rd floor. Our room was on the first floor. When we checked out, told we paid too much, tried to give us credit.

I had to call my boss when they said my room had not been paid for. When he was on the phone with them, they insisted the room was not paid for even though he had prepaid and had the confirmation number. It took multiple phone calls and over half an hour to get it straighten out.

I was def not impressed by my stay here. The entire first floor and I think most of the second floor didn't have hot water for the whole morning so that kind of posed a little problem. Nobody could take a shower or anything. It seems like that's one of the most important things to consider when your paying for a motel.
Ofcourse, everyone complained in the morning but the staff didn't seem to care much less give anybody a discount. Also, I reserved the room for a quoted price but it ended up costing $30 more a day than they quoted. The rooms are WAY overpriced.
I wrote to Candlewood's customer service just to tell them about the hot water situation and didn't hear ONE THING back from them. I didn't even ask for my money back and just wanted to hear an apology or something but I didn't hear squat. It's already been over two months since I wrote them. No brainer I will never stay at a Candlewood again.

This hotel is only about one year old (my travel in March, 2010), and it quite a step up from every other La Quinta, which is a nice chain anyway. The entry to the room and the bath are hardwood floors. The furniture is stylish. Large flat screen tv (only complaint -- no Comedy Channel!). Nice fitness center. Wireless easy to use and relatively fast. But the whole place is so neat, new, clean. Normal breakfast, very adequate, even decent coffee. Good location for Lockheed. Great Staff. Bravo, La Quinta!

After settling in, the room was quiet, extremely clean and just as described by the hotel's website. We did have some problems, the mini fridge was not working at time of arrival. There was not a microwave in the room. Had to hunt down an iron.

Great time with my new husband

I booked the room less than an hour before we arrived at the location. When I checked in it was smooth sailing. The room was neat and tidy. They had an outlet in the lamp for my flat-irons which was perfect. The bed was so comfortable and the comforter was really pretty. We had dinner that evening at Cracker Barrel which was next door to the Inn. It was a great two-day stay and we look forward to going back.
