The hotel is an older hotel but it has been kept up very well. The room didn't look like what it did in the picture online but overall we were extremely satisfied with our stay. We are Dallas natives and just wanted to have alone time without the kids. The location was perfect! Very close to Deep Ellum, Victory Park and also the West End. Recommend this hotel to everyone.

I had a very good experience at the Fairmont Dallas. I was only there for one night for business. However, the amenities were great, the bar was great, and when I needed an item I had forgotten, it was at my door in mere minutes from my call.

The spacious wood-paneled lobby with its cut crystal vases and soaring skylight embodies the feel of the hotel: classic, elegant, generous, and leisurely. I instantly felt calmer every time I walked in. I don't have any heart-warming stories, but the staff was friendly and the room was huge. I travel for work and my having nothing to complain about is in itself a huge compliment. The lamps in my room had three-way bulbs which I appreciated. (I'm surprised more hotels don't have dimmers and other subtle lighting options.) The convention center is only a three-block walk, which is also very convenient.

The staff are exceptional, the FREE shuttle at a guest's beckon call to take you to-and-fro is a wonderful bonus (within a reasonable radius) and the complimentary breakfast and dinner-hour snacks are super. However the hotel does show its age in key aspects, despite the modern kitchen appliances and TVs. p.s. the beds are VERY comfortable. We'd definitely go back!

Nice place, and great location right on LBJ/635, 75 Central Expressway, & Coit Rd. The room was really nice and very clean. Near a lot of stores and close to downtown Dallas. Would consider staying there again.

Spent 10 days in Dallas for business purposes and the Hyatt was the perfect location. It is located a few miles north of downtown Dallas so you are able to reach key areas in Dallas easily. The Hyatt personnel were very polite and knowledgeable about the area. I enjoy it very much.

I had business at TI and the location was extremely convenient for that. Arrived late and had convenient bar with some food in lobby. Not a lot of choices but was not pretty good and convenient. Had convenient quick breakfast and internet--kind of the norm nowadays but requirement for me. I didn't realize I had booked a small suite---large living area. Didn't need it but might be nice for some.
Room was newly remodeled and hotel was in good shape. Nice 42" TV. My only complaint was that the room had some musty smell which I noticed more when A/C was left off during the day and room was a bit warm when I returned. It wasn't really bad, but I wouldn't want to live in that forever. Makes you wonder about cleanliness under the surface.

When we pulled up to the hotel the staff was great in assisting us. They were beyond polite and helpful. The hotel itself was fantastic and looked like something out of a movie. The room we had was a wonderful sixe very comfortable and had a great view. I would recommend this hotel to any and everyone I know if they are ever in the area.

The hotel decor was modern and pleasing. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We had a great view of downtown Dallas. That being said, the hotel is not in downtown which could be a downside but it's only a 5 minute drive. There is a rooftop pool and jacuzzi which is always nice but that area could use some aesthetic attention that is demonstrated in the rest of the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Aloft was a little out the ordinary from what I have seen before, but would still recommend it to anyone. The staff was very helpful and polite. The cleanliness of the room was better than some other more well known hotels that I have stayed in. Over all a very good experience.

My wife and I decided to go to the LSU game in Dallas and made these reservations only a couple of months ahead of time. We got a GREAT deal and stayed in style in the heart of downtown Dallas. With awesome sports bar in lobby and decent restaurant as well. The only thing that I would change is the staff at kitchen table restaurant. The were extremely rude and had no problem ignoring your existence. Overall i'd stay here again.

It worked out great for us because we were going to a Dallas Stars game. It's also good to get a room so you can have access to GhostBar on a Saturday night. It's not cheap, but the location for a sporting event is good and the staff in GhostBar are great.
We had a great time and I can recommend it!

We used the W Dallas as our honeymoon hotel. The lady at the front desk who checked me in was very helpful and upgraded my room. After we arrived at the hotel that night afterward our wedding, she had champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries sent up with a customized card. Very impressive. The only lame parts were the $24/day valet parking and $10/day internet (really?). Next time, we'll have to sample Craft and/or Ghost Bar.

Staff was very accommodating about not spraying the room each day. The spray is very irritating to those with allergies. The tv seemed new but the reception was horrible. We tried to watch the US Open tennis tournament and couldn't even see the ball. The guide we were given didn't even match.

Room all the way in the back, as far as possible from registration. Looks like they took over a condo. development and turned it into a hotel. Suite gives you more room and a kitchen and so that's a benefit. Because it is set back from major roads, it was very quiet. The free breakfast is well worth skipping. The attendants were chatting, doing nothing to assist.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was a hot and cold meal, it was good too. Pool was heated and a nice, clean area. Toilet seat wasn't clean, but everything else looked very clean. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was located near the school I was attending a workshhop at. The rooms were very nice. The only down side was the were a lot of gentle man's clubs near the room other than that very nice hotel

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous, there was a bit of a language barrier with some of the front desk staff, but it was manageable. close to major transit lines that connect all the way to Fort Worth. All in All it is a affordable pleasant place to stay.
This review is given based on the kind of Hotel this is... That would be A Value Hotel in an industral area near the airport..

Had a hockey tournament at the Farmers Branch Dr Pepper Center. We were located within walking distance to the center. Would have liked more dining places available closer to the hotel. Had to travel to any sort of dining, including a McDonalds. The tram was right across the street from the Dr Pepper Center, so if we wanted to get anywhere, we could have just taken the tram. For $4.00 a day. It was nice. The hotel is an older Days Inn, it was a bit dark, could do some painting, but all in all it was very nice.

I have stayed at this Marriott three times now (twice for business and once after a wedding), and I have always been pleased with my stay. Currently under renovation, but it does not interfere with your stay. The only reason I noticed was because I had stayed there before the changes started -- otherwise, you'd never notice there were renovations going on behind the scenes.

Overall the hotel was great and in a good location for visiting Dallas. The only frustrating thing was having to pay for parking on top of the hotel rate, but that seems to be more common these days. Also, as with most Westin's the beds were extremely comfortable and the dual shower heads were relaxing.

5 woman met in Dallas for a Girl's Weekend and this was a great deal for the 5 of us to split! Two queen beds, seperate living space with a fold out (reccomend bringing a blow up matress to put on top of the fold out) bar area, good size bathroom, plenty of room for the 5 of us to feel comfortable!!!! Great service from hotel staff, this was a very good deal!

This hotel is really good and cheap. Everything was perfect, but unfortunately we had no free wifi in our room. Walking distance to downtown is about half an hour at least which may be a problem if you don't have a car.

in town to check out some clubs. room was on the first floor and it looked like some tried to break in through the window at some point. an airport shuttle would have been nice. cab discount as well since walking in the area is not safe.

Great rate, nice service

I was extremely pleased with my stay here. The staff was nice and pleasant, the room was very clean the area of the hotel was nice as well.. My only gripes would be the distance from the airport/downtown Dallas, the lack of a mini-fridge, and no complementary breakfast (you had to buy breakfast from them). But other than that, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great deal.
