Ok - if you do not need a view because there isn't one. The rooms are ok - the beds are old, overused, with a hint of grandma's perfume. Take your own sheets.
Breakfast was very good though - eggs, sausage, coffee, juice, waffles and more.

We will not stay at the Marina again because we couldn't step outside on the balcony. Overall,
the stay was quiet....no noisy neighbors.

The hotel staff was so nice and went our of their way to make our stay enjoyable. There was a very good restaurant and conveinent. The pool area was very relaxing. The rooms were so nice and comfortable the beds were so comfy, i slept so good. The only bad things were we had a balcony view of the parking lot so we did go out there a lot and the sand at the beach was rocky and there were jellyfish. The hotel was great though and i would definitely go back and stay!!

I have gone to port A and Rockport all my life and have never stayed anywhere that felt clean. This time we decided to try a corpus hotel and just drive to the "real" beach. We are very happy we did so because this hotel was worth the extra drive and money. They also offer a govt rate over the phone, The views from the hotel are very pretty but i wouldnt count on swimming in the ocean right outside because the sand is shelly and the waves are crazy. but it is nice to just be able to walk out side and see the ocean. they also have little cabanas to sit under! Pool is great with the bar IN it! but there were still kids playing.

This was a very good experience. The room was located with a good view of the ocean. It was in close proxemity to the Lexington battleship, The Texas State Aquarium and all types of tour boats, fshing and great places to eat. A big mall and all sorts of shopping available just down the road. The staff were very helpful and were good at giving directions.

This place was ok but the fridge didn't work, the internet wouldn't connect, and the bathroom floor was kinda dirty. I let the front desk know but they never got the fridge working and told me the rooms on the backside of the hotel have trouble getting internet. They never gave me the offer of switching rooms. I will say the staff was nice and the room was a good size.

The pix look good but on arrival the place was not as good as photo. This is a well worn facility that is in a great location but it's seen it's better days. The staff is a super group of folks who know how to take care of business with a human flair.

The location was great! However the room itself was horrible! Masking tape covering holes in wall, mildew in shower ceiling. AC didn't work so had to switch to another room. Overall not a good place to stay, You basically got what you paid for, and even then I felt it was overpriced!

We've always stayed at super 8 when traveling to corpus with family so with this trip with my friend, it was only natural to book here. The only complaint i have is about the one lady at teh front desk. she was rude to the employees. Lady did not act or look professional. When i told her i did not want to be taken care byher she got upset. The actual stay was fine. the room was clean but smelled too much like cigarette smoke. it didnt bother me much since i wasn't in the hotel long. everything was fine except that clerk. when i checked out i advised the man at the desk and he apologized but he didn't seem to really care. i'd stay there again for the price and convenience of location only.

Given the fact that the hotel is not directly on the feeder road, it is tucked "out of sight" and provides an assurance that late night travelers will not be waking you up. The rooms were very clean, however, the placement of the television in the room was rather odd.

I have stayed here several times, and will do so again. I like this hotel, it is well appointed, nice amenities (see below) and nicely located.
I did learn that the in-room mini-refrigerators are NOT available in all rooms, only the first floor and the two "balcony" rooms on each other floor. If you want a refrigerator in your room, be sure to ask.

Overall this is not a bad place. Still I would say the price is a little high. For the price I paid, I would expect a little larger tv, and carpet that doesn't have any holes in it. I have stayed in rooms that were $15 cheaper and a lot nicer.

This was a great hotel choice for the money, it was within a short walking distance from the beach and a long walk to bars and restaurants at the lexington area. The hotel needed some maintenance, but rooms were clean and had been remodeled. Also had extras such as a safe and refrigerator.

Nice for the price

We originally stayed at this hotel several years ago, when my son was a baby. It was a little less worn then and seemed to have a lot more traffic. However... the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was very nice and it had everything we needed since we spent most of our time at the beach and sightseeing. A great value if you want a comfortable place to sleep & bathe(a short drive from downtown)with not a lot of amenities.

The hotel was clean and accepted pets which was a plus. However we were put in a room right across from the ice machine. The sound of people getting ice in the morning woke us up each day.
