"The good, the bad, and the really ugly

The hotel was located next to a Walmart parking lot in Manchester, TN. The area was a little seedy and I did not feel safe walking my dog at night. The bathroom was moldy and the bathtub was dirty. The walls were very thin and we could hear children jumping around above us and running around all night. The only think I really enjoyed was the hot breakfast. The food was done well and the loby staff were nice and hospitable. I love the fact the hotel was 100% smoke free and allowed for dogs.

This is a very nice new hotel. It is smoke free, very clean and fresh, with good amenities. The staff were kind and helpful. Bed was very comfortable, room has flat-screen TV, fridge and microwave, coffeemaker. If traveling with baby they have pack 'n plays, not cribs available. We had closest ground floor room next to elevator, pool, weight room, lobby, and dining room, and it was quite noisy until about 10:30pm. I'm sure that a different room would solve the problem, but we were too tired and settled to request a move. Other than that a great stay and good value. Had to buy diapers and travel food and found Walmart right next door, and filled up car at a convenient gas mart next door as well. An easy stop on the interstate with everything needed right there.

You get what you pay for....

Ok... I am not quick to critize, HOWEVER I have stayed in economy priced motels/hotels before and this was NOT your average hotel. The hotel was ok, nice. The front entrance was cutup really strange no windows, front foryer was almost like a closet office. Kinda creepy! The room was fairly well decent and clean. Evidentally this hotel is under construction. No bathroom door and plaster peeling off walls. The linens smelled clean but where stained. The fridge didn't work. Which all of these things I can overlook. The WORST thing was we requested smoking due to hubby is a smoker. BAD decision..this room RECKED of smoke. Smelled like someone had been living there and train smoking!! HORRIBLE!! Hubby is a smoker and the stynch even gagged him!! Since we requested smoking, we didn't bother asking for another room.We figured this was the ONLY smoking room. Leason learned we will never request smoking ever again. We have stayed in smoking rooms before and it was no where near this horrid. The next morning both of our sinuses where stopped up. On a lighter note, ok place to stay for the money for an overnight stay where you just plan on being in the room a couple of hourse to sleep and shower.

Clean place to hang your hat!

We were in town on family business and the hotel was located near the facility. We were overall happy with our stay but it would have been nice if the breakfast was available a little later (at least until 10am) and it would have been nice to have a small refridgerator in our room. The bathroom was very small and the shower head was pretty low, even for a woman. Overall we would stay there again because the price was right!

Nice, Reasonable Hotel

This was not our destination, only the evening's stop. With that in mind, while the hotel is average, it is very reasonably priced. We have stayed at this hotel before and the staff is always pleasant.

Not that great humidity

My husband and I took a camping trip and wanted to stay in a hotel with AC and get a good nights rest before our long drive home the next day. Our room at this hotel had lots of space BUT it had a lot of bad things. Hold wall unit AC, door to the room did not close all the way even with the dead bolt, the room was so humid (it felt like we were still camping), room was out-dated (old furniture, sink cracked, shower/tub fascet coming out of the wall, wall paper peeling, old tv, etc), and lastly, the room was over priced considering all these issues. I understand that there was a large festival going near by but with all these issues, it was NOT worth the price I paid, ($200) for one night. On a plus side, the breakfast was great.
