I chose this hotel based on the reviews I read online. It is in a great location; very close to the interstate. The entire staff is very pleasant, polite and accommodating. My room was very clean and quiet. My bed was actually very comfortable and the continental breakfast was decent. I will absolutely stay at this hotel again the next time I am in Knoxville. Way to go Country Inn & Suites!

WE ARRIVED AROUND TEN PM. WENT RIGHT IN TO FRONT AND CHECKED IN WITH NO PROBLEMS. I TOLD THE FRONT DESK LADY THAT I HAD AN EXTRA PERSON THAT WAS WITH ME AN I WOULD BE NEEDING A ROLL-A-WAY BED. SO I GOT MY KEY PARKED MY CAR AND GOT TO THE ROOM THE BED WAS WAITING FOR ME AT THE DOOR. THAT MADE MY NIGHT AND MADE ME WRITE THIS REVIEW. HOTEL WAS CLEAN ROOM WAS CLEAN EVERYTHING WAS COOL.WILL RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. ANYTHING I ASKED FOR THEY GOT IT!!!!!!!!

Great Folks in Knoxville at Baymont Inn-

The folks staffing this Baymont Inn are wonderful and friendly. The hotel was hopping on Saturday night with a huge contingent of UT fans, but very quiet on Sunday. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to see that we were comfortable. We have stayed here before and will do so again!

After a very long day on the road, the Baymont was the perfect choice. First the room was clean, the shower hot with great water pressure, and finally we could walk to great restaurants for both dinner and breakfast. The king size bed was sooo comfortable!Check-out was easy..just wish we had more time there!!!!

A short overnight stay for us in Knoxville as we ended a wonderful vacation seeing the Smoky Mountains. We spent a night at this hotel returning from the Smokies and flying out of Knoxville in the AM. The hotel was a quiet respite and pleasant way to end the vacation week. Staff was very friendly and helpful with every interaction. Our room felt very large and open as we had an end room with 3 windows. We relaxed and regrouped for our flight home in the AM. We were directed to dinner at Calhoun's on the River and were able to sit on the patio on a warm May evening and enjoy our dinner in the outdoors. I'm sorry we were not able to visit and appreciate the city of Knoxville but we were impressed with the friendliness of all
the people with whom we interacted.

Good clean room at a great price

Went to Knoxville for the LSU vs Tennesee football game (Geaux Tigers). It's not a fancy 5 star place. Room was clean and comfortable. I'm not a smoker so the other comments about the place smelling like smoke worried me, but I had no issues. It was a great value at $69 per night and only 10 minutes from Neyland Stadium. Plenty of restaurants near the hotel. Good free wifi signal in my room. Free continental breakfast. Recommended.

We were in town for a competition. The motel was 4 miles from the venue.
The room was nice, not fancy, not a dive. The beds were clean, the bathroom was clean. We had a nice, new refrigerator, a large TV, free parking, free WiFi, free continental breakfast. Our friends stayed at a local luxury hotel 3 times the price--had to pay for parking, no free breakfast, no refrigerator, broken TV. So, for very little money, we had a place to sleep, bathe, eat, and park. No frills, but that was fine. The carpet had a few old stains, and except for a slight cigarette smell in the room it was fine. One complaint is that the breakfast was just about gone before it was over, and there was a very strong cigarette odor in all the hallways, and especially the first floor. I am very sensitive to that and have reactions, and I could hardly breathe in the hallway.

We traveled to Knoxville for UT's Homecoming weekend. The hotel was pretty run-down and our room (a non smoking room) smelled like old cigarettes and take out food. We immediately went to the store for air freshener to make the smell more bearable. However, the continental breakfast offered a good selection of cereals, muffins, English muffins, toast, and donuts. The location was convenient, and for the price it is what you would expect.

This hotel is located close to the University of Tennessee Campus which is what I was looking for. It was also very easy to get to. I was in town to attend UT's Orientation with my daughter. I had actually stayed at this same hotel 3 years earlier when I attended orientation with my son. The room was spacious and clean. Great value for the price.

We were looking for a hotel to stop at on our way to Myrtle Beach, SC. Knoxville was the perfect stopping point.After a little research on [...], we decided on the Knoxville Marriott. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The rooms are a little on the smaller side, but the amenities made up for the lack of space. My children loved the buffet breakfast in the morning and the coffee was good and strong. We liked this hotel well enough to stay there again on the way back.

The refrigerator did not work which I was counting on to keep my picnic foods cold overnight. I had to throw away all my foods to be chilled and spend extra for meals on our Labor Day holiday vacation.
But the beds were comfy!

Very Clean But Needs Remodeling!

We stayed at Magnuson Hotel after a UT football game. I was impressed with how clean the room and bathroom were. I noticed a lot of work that needs to be done--wallpaper peeling, carpet tore in a couple of spots. The bed wasn't very comfortable--They need to replace the mattresses. The hotel is in a very good location--close to the interstate and near lots of shopping places and restaurants. It's not luxurious, but it will do for a short stay.

Was so impressed because Jameson was the least expensive of the hotels recommended. Yet, I think the Jameson was as nice as any hotel I've stayed at before.

For an over night to rest and sleep it was a good bargain. The hotel could use a good cleaning though. Mold in the bathroom and dingy carpets. Worth the price for a short term stay.

Just an overnite stay on way to Nashville. It was pricey for what you got for the room. No microwave and a musty smelling in room. Didn't help with a dog in the next room barking when a noise was made outside. Have stayed at better places for less the cost paid for this one nite stay.

I just needed a one night stopover and the location was convenient. The fellow who checked me in was a GREAT host and referred me to a wonderful restaurant. I felt safe and comfortable with the hotel and the area. I am a single woman traveling alone so safety if very important to me.

The Courtyard Knoxville Cedar Bluff, in Knoxville, Tennessee was a welcome rest for our busy schedule. We felt very relaxed and comfortable as we used the fitness facilities. The location is great as it is close to restaurants. We will stay there again.
