bed not comfortable at all..too firm mattress, and they didn't have a foam pad to help. But price was good. Next time though I'll pay more to stay for better comfort.

The room was pretty well kept and clean enough but could use an extra scrub here and there. The bed was firm but not hard and lumpy... just a bit "springy". Breakfast was very disappointing and almost non-existent. Microwave sausage and biscuits and cereal about covers it. Oh... and juice. But no matter. There's a Hardee's just a couple of hundred feet down the road. The coffee maker is one of those single-cup Keurig makers so if you want more than a cup at a time, bring your own coffee pot!
My only real complaint is that I paid a little more and booked a king room through Orbitz but when we arrived they said the kings had all been reserved for two days before we made our reservation. So if you want to book through Orbitz (which is definitely cheaper) make sure you call the hotel first and make sure they have what you want.

Motel was very clean and new. Staff very nice. Only bad thing was it was at an exit that only had a Cracker Barrell, Wendy's and Subway. Had to travel to next exit to eat or shop. I was job searching so it was easy to get Johnson City, Bristol, and Kingsport within minutes.

Was a very convenient location. It was a very basic, ordinary room. Room was very small and could have been a little cleaner. Had to kill a few bugs. But for the price should have expected such things. Even though it should not be that way. I will say I like the "make your own waffle" for breakfast.

We were in town for the Bristol race. The hotel was very nice and the staff was friendly and helpfull. My only suggestion is....change your shower heads! Your current shower head is the only shower I could stand in the middle of and not get wet.

NO Ice - Really

I looked at the lay out of this place after getting to our room, I wanted some ice and maybe a snack. ALL of the vending machines listed and all the Ice machines listed were not there - after I walked around the place for a while (instead of resting after driving for 7 hours). I called up to the desk and was told I would have to go back to the main desk for Ice

My stay at Meadview was pleasant. Tasty dining, friendly staff, nice fitness room, etc.
The only negative I can site for this visit was the poor room turnover (messy beds, leftover items on floor from previous guests - YUK).

We booked a king no smoking....When we got there they claimed that we did not book the room we needed...We showed them the Orbitz printout that cleary stated king no smoking and they said "sorry"...we had to take a twin no smoking....other than that no problems.

The hotel was convienient to the highway, reasonably priced, clean, and included breakfast. There was a restaurant across the parking lot so we did not have to look for somewhere to eat after we arrived. A good experience.

Although they tried to spruce up the place with paint,
the surrounding cemented walkways were stained.
On our first day, they didn't clean the room. There weren't enough towels, we had to ask for more.
The so called breakfast was lousy. The pastries were very stale.

Don't give them your credit card!!!! This was a prepaid trip but they asked for my CC for incidentals upon check-in. After I checked out I saw they charged me $915.09 for my prepaid stay. I called to get it fixed and was told they would refund my CC, but it took over 3 days to get the refund after I caught the error. They could not even explain why they charged the card in the first place. Maids do a poor job cleaning the rooms too!
