Great location - easy access to all the shopping and restaurants in Franklin. Check-in was a bit slow, but otherwise very nice hotel. Loved the room layout and good sized tv, comfy beds. Great value for the nightly rate.

After being on the road 2 days and still having one to go, I was ready to relax. The staff was friendly, accomodations clean and comfortable. I needed a good nights sleep, and that's what I got. The bed was very comfortable, cushy and lots of pillows. The mini living room with sofa/tv, was a nice area to relax also. Complimentary breakfast was nice to not have to make an additional stop!

I spent one night at this hotel and really enjoyed it. When I arrived, I was quickly checked in by a friendly staff member who directed me to my room and informed me of a few things I wanted to know. The room was larger than I had expected, had some much appreciated snacks waiting in it for me, and was nice and clean.
In the morning, I made use of the fitness center which was small, but had enough equipment to allow me a good workout. Breakfast options were pretty varied and what I ended up eating was good. The hotel was really close to downtown Franklin and even closer to a Starbucks, so that was really nice. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would definitely book there again in the future.

Showed up late and left early. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, stairwell doors were a little noisy at night. Didn't get to use the pool, but it looked night. Had a very nice breakfast area and very friendly staff.

We visited the historic Civil War homes and really enjoyed the presentations at the Caronton and Carter homes. The breakfast at the hotel was not very good the bread was dry and the biscuits and grave were only warm. The room was nice but hadn't been vacuumed very well.

The hotel staff was very friendly. the lobby is breath taking.The only downside are the televisions. They don't have flat screens which seem to not fit in such a nice hotel.

We have stayed at this Embassy Suites numerous times over the past 5 years. Usually because it is away from the business district of Nashville but just a short drive to get there. There are many good places to eat around this area and historic Franklin is always a great place to shop. The overall experience is very enjoyable and relaxing but could be a little better. As with any hotel the children are always out of control tying up elevators and running up and down the halls. Also I would think wireless internet access would be free (currently $10 per day) considering the cost to them is negligible. It's just another way to make money with little effort. If I really need internet the Hampton Inn (same chain) let's me use their even if I am not a registered guest. It's called "customer service" and building good relationships.

It was ok. A quick stay checked in late and out early. It was not a bad stay. The bed was comfy and looked nice as with the other stuff like tv etc not so good. Tv buttons were broke but it worked and other stuff looked run down. Not bad for the price though.

Attention-to-detail was missing on my recent visit to this hotel. 1) It was only the next morning that I finally found the list of TV channels tucked away in a drawer. Why wasn't it placed next to the TV? 2) The coffee maker was missing two essential parts: the carafe and the slide-in tray which holds the coffee bag. 3) The telephone was dead until I discovered that the incoming cord had been plugged into the phone's data port. Good things: the desk clerk on duty when I checked in was friendly and courteous, though he was unable to help with the problems described above. There was no traffic noise from nearby interstate 65 - a pleasant surprise. The price is right and the location is very convenient for me. And it's the only hotel in the area for under $100. Summary: I hope that the Franklin Inn can get its act together in time for my next visit.

We very much enjoyed out stay at the Mariott Hotel in Franklin, Tenn. Everyone was extremely helpful and service oriented. We were there for several days, and everything was well done and comfortable. The rooms were very nice and quiet. Good business atmosphere. Nice comfortable shower which I so need at the end of a day. I also thought the food/restaurants in the hotel were good as we enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning. The dining at night was fine. Close to many good restaurants in the area. It is a relatively new business district which makes it have a nice feel. My only criticism is the workout room is not large enough and the pool was not heated. They arranged for us to workout at a nearby club that was very nice and that worked fine. I would give it 4 1/2 stars out of 5.

Great hotel! Perfect for families. Excellent hot breakfast. One drawback: The carpet in our room seemed damp in one location. I know pets are allowed (which I don't care for) and I just hope it was not urine. Other than that, our family thought the hotel was terrific. I really think that Marriot's Residence Inn should rethink that pet policy.

Everything from check in to check out was great except the parking. was travelling with a handicapped person, not enough spots close by. but even that was dealt with proffesionally by the staff.
Loved the layouts in the rooms, small but cozy. Internet access in room was on and off. We had problems two out of three nights, made it hard to work.
Staff were so nice and helpful though.

Good price for a newish hotel in Frankln

This is a fairly new facility and well maintained. The price is really good and the quality of the stay is probably better than one would expect. Don't count on the free breakfast to be anything other than some mundane breadstuffs and coffee and in winter the bathroom is cold, but those were well worth the savings in cost.

Room was large and comfortable. I think it was up to par for the price. It had a microwave and refrigerator. Good location, next door to several other hotels that cost more and are not that much better. Definitely not fancy --but I was not expecting it to be. Pool was closed (not sure why it looked fine)

Good nights sleep

I was in Franklin, Tn for a 2 day business conference. My previous night at home I had only gotten 3 hours sleep, then a 10 hr conference so I was looking forward to just chilling out in my room, watching TV and getting to bed early for the conference the next morning. My room was front bottom level. I did hear a bit of noise out front from other guests arriving throughout the evening. A horn was disruptive at times also. When I attempted to watch TV to help drown out the noise I sadly discovered there was not a single station with clear reception. In fact most were so badly ghosting I couldn't even make out the picture.It would have been nice to have had PPV or even a DVD player.
I opted to just go to bed with the AC turned on high to help drown out the noise outside.
I have stayed in Comfort Inns before and have always found their beds to be supportive yet cushy, this one was no exception. I have a bad back and I woke the next morning feeling rested and having no stiffness or pain.
The room looked clean, but as I move the side table to look for an outlet I discovered 2 candy wrappers behind it. I wonder if they really ever deep clean or do minor spot cleaning.

Clean, Comfortable Nashville Alternative

Overall, for the money and for what you pay here compared to a Marriot or similar, this is a great place and a great deal. The staff was really friendly. Rooms were very clean,quiet and seemed fairly new. The rooms are all interior and better than average. Beds were comfortable. Outside pool isn't very big and probably needed to be cleaned a bit. We had an issue with our toilet, where it was taking a long time to refill. The staff didn't have anyone on hand to repair it that day, but the desk worker was very apologetic about it, and she came up with a way to make it work for us. The lobby is very clean with a nice tv, lots of sitting room for the continental breakfast. There is even a small store on site with popcorn, candy, microwavable meals, drinks, etc. From this location you are in the upscale southern subsurbs of Nashville, yet only a few minutes by freeway to downtown Nashville. It was only a 10 - 15 minute freeway drive to Music Row and such, making it a great alternative than staying right downtown.

Good enough for the price- free wifi, but the continental breakfast was mediocre, and the hotel was a little run down. The bed was pretty firm, which is ok if thats what you want!

Conviently place right off of 65. Staff was nice, rooms were clean, pool was warm. They only thing that held me back was the overall outside appearance.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff was exceptional. The only critique is the lighting in our rooms was not great. We requested 3 rooms - adjoining if possible. They went to great lengths to accommodate our request. We ended up with 2 handicap accessible rooms and one regular room (they made sure that was okay before giving them to us). The handicap rooms did not have great lighting, but were very large. The lighting was definitely better in the regular room.

From allowing a very early check-in (due to my schedule change) to the hot breakfast, large room, and very comfortable bed, it's a great hotel. Location is convenient for business and leisure.
At times, the parking lot is overfull and it's hard to find a place to park. This stay, on the second morning, I discovered my coffee hadn't been replenished in the room so I had to wait until I dressed and could go down to the breakfast bar for coffee. And good coffee it is. Overall, minor issues.

I was traveling there with family. We were planning to do a nice lunch somewhere, but we ended up having breakfast at the hotel, mainly because it was free. Big mistake. The breakfast there was generally bad; even the orange juice tasted wrong, like it was diluted. And because we ate that, we missed out on having a proper meal somewhere else in Nashville, since our appetites were all spoiled both for breakfast and for lunch.
If you plan to go here, it's not a bad decision; just leave breakfast out of the equation, and don't plan to eat here. For heaven's sake, go somewhere nice to eat.
In fairness to this Hampton Inn, I must disclose that I have eaten the breakfast at other Hampton Inns all over the country, and this is not any worse than any of the others. They're all about the same, and not worth your time.
