Days Inn is conveniently located near the freeway, numerous dining places, shopping, etc. It was also easy for us to access friends and family in the area. It was clean and well-provisioned, other than for a slight tear in a shower curtain. We were offered clean linens even when we didn't ask for room service. All hotel personnel were polite, cheerful and helpful, but unintrusive. We enjoyed our stay. Freeway sounds are of course nearby, as at most hotels in the area. The price was very reasonable, and we didn't experience unpleasant issues with cleanliness that occur nearby. I've used this motel twice now.

My husband and I stayed at Days Inn, so we could go out and celebrate my birthday with my family. The check in was prompt and fast. The young man who check us in was friendly and explained all about exactly where our room was, and about breakfast. Our room was clean and it was in the back where it was so quiet. We were on the bottom floor (no steps to climb) which helped at my age. It was a very nice stay for us.I will stay there again.

We found the hotel to be very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The pool was nice and clean. Decent breakfast selections (free) with good coffee and homemade Belgian waffle maker! Location is great - near lots of restaurants. We would go back!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was fine. The room was so-so. I don't know if we'd stay in a king leisure suite again, due to the lay out of the room.
We didn't use the whirlpool tub because the jets had mold growing around them.
I did feel the price we paid was just right for a hotel such as this.

Each fall I visit Cookeville for my college homecoming. I always stay at the Baymont. It is one of the newer, if not the newest, hotel in the town. The location is so convenient, the staff are always friendly, and the rooms are well maintained. All you need for a night or two.

Staff was attentive and service-oriented. I was there for the TSSAA Football Championship weekend. The room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was almost as great as mine. Sheets were high quality, plenty of pillows and mattress was comparable to the ones found in 4 and 5 star hotels. The convenience of a fridge and microwave in the room was a plus. Free Wi-Fi was also a much appreciated amenity. I would definitely stay again.

We staye at this hotel beause there were no others available. The ac was extremely cold, which is about the only positive thing we can say about our stay. The bed linens needed to be bleached as did the towels. the bathroom was in very poor repair--not necessarily dirty, but needed to be repaired. The continental breakfast consisted of coffee and pre packaged granola bars. We were dissappointed. It was very close to cookeville, so that was a plus.

The room I stayed in needed a lot of work done to upgrade to the next very low customer service level. It had cable, a big bed, an awful shower, missing door hinges for the cabinets and I felt unsafe with the way the doors would close and lock.

OK in a pinch

I usually stay in other hotels, but I found my usual spaces booked when I had to make a last-minute trip to Cookeville. It's OK for what it is - a cheap place to stay maybe one half-step up from the "motor inn" kind of place.
Odd smell upon entering the hotel, but the room itself was fine, if a bit shabby, and decor fairly cheap/outdated. (I usually barely notice such things, so it was bad enough for me to take note.)
The mattress was much too soft, the pillows virtually useless.
But...for the price, I got pretty much what I expected.
The location is on the edge of Cookeville, so it's not the most convenient. But since the next place that would have been better was 30 minutes away, it was OK to stay for a couple of days. It's not in my top choices for my next trip, though.

I booked my reservation online. When I arrived at the hotel I discovered they did not allow pets. There was nothing on their website that indicated they did not allow pets (they have since updated their website). Nothing on my confirmation indicated they did not allow pets. The lady at the front desk was argumentative and rude! I never received an apology she just argued that their policy was on their website. After leaving the lobby I was sitting in my car trying to locate another hotel within my budget when the front desk clerk came outside and TOLD ME TO LEAVE! I have never been treated so badly. I will never stay at this hotel.

The America's Best Value Inn was anything but a Value, although the room had the facilities we needed it was filthy. The staff was unwelcoming and did not care that the room was dirty or that the sheets were torn. The pool was unmaintained and we were scared to even try the free breakfast.

Was clean but not anything to write home about. "Suite" was a joke. Noisy air conditioner and really no amenities to speak of.

Cheap room but it was definitely in need of renovations, furniture was marked and old. Musty smell in room. Had a good mini-fridge and microwave in the room. The pool water was clean but the tiling, etc. was in need of a good scrubbing. Great location.
