staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived late and one of the rooms we booked was on 2nd flr. With the rest on 3rd, front desk was able to find a room on 3rd instead.

We actually thought we were staying at a different location but this Best Western in Hot Springs was extremely nice. It is downtown but very value priced for such a location in the Black Hills.

I found the room clean, with a microwave and a refrigerator. There were adequate coffee supplies and towels. There was no remote for the TV but I didn't watch it anyway. The heating did not seem to have a thermostat which was somewhat inconvenient and there was a giant light outside my window aimed right at it. The curtain blocked most of the light but it was still annoying. The breakfast was nothing special, cereal and toast. It served the purpose of a clean place to sleep. I would recommend this hotel as a place to crash if you have a lot of other things to do and don't plan on spending time in the room.

I was a little unsure about staying here based on negative reviews here and on other sites. But it couldn't have been better. Staff were polite, room was clean, beds were comfy, breakfast was delicious, location was awesome. I would definitely stay here again.

I was suspicious of it because they did not have a sign and they have owned it for three weeks. It was clean but the motel is old and the bathroom and shower very small. Everything seemed clean and it was quiet.

The managers were very nice and friendly. I was a little upset by the fact that the smoking room I had reserved a week in advance had been given away before I got there. Other than that the room was clean and conveniently located for my visit.

Staff was helpful. Room was very clean.Bed could have been a little more comfy and heater less noisy, but otherwise it was a nice stay. Great little town with points of interest before going or coming from the Blackhills.
