Staying near the Black Hills?

This Americinn property can't be beat, really- clean, very comfortable rooms- a out of the way, yet still close to the action. Beautiful facility (9 miles N of Spearfish). Local restaurants are a bit hokey as Belle Fourche is really a small rural town with a small, rural town feel. But there are tons of options down the road in Spearfish and the location makes a good, less pricey, newer alternative to other properties in the area.

Not what you pay for...

Don't let the pictures fool you. The place is worn and tired. Very "low" speed internet, old wall mount AC, old TV w/ audio issues, torn hallway carpeting, footstep squeeks over your head. But if you aren't picky and you're stuck, you'll at least get a clean bed and bathroom. Oh, and it's 10pm and "we're closed". If you have a reservation, use the house phone inside the door and someone from somewhere will come let you in.

I liked the manager, she was very nice, however [...] only booked one night, when i wanted two. I told the manager that, and she did give me the extra night at the same rate [...]. Over all we were very comfortable and like the stay there.

It was so nice to stay at Motel 6 in Belle Fourche. I went for a wedding and I just wanted to let everyone know how extremely nice and understanding the staff there was. They went above and beyond being friendly. Every night they offered to let my daughter and I go swimming a little after hours. I had an "incident" in my room and instead of making me feel bad about it, they were extremely understanding and accommodating. It was so nice to feel at ease so far away from home. Thank you Motel 6!
