Perfect hotel for visiting Aberdeen with a family (almost 3 and almost 5 year old boys). Location was perfect for Wylie Park, and the pool area couldn't have been better for my boys! Easy check in and out THANKS!!

When I made my reservation I must have chosen a wheelchair room. Hotel staff person said I could change rooms if needed. I did stay in that room. It was fine.
Restaurant was nice along with their staff.
I stayed for two nights and didn't need housekeeping. Housekeeping left a laundry bag on the doornob with fresh towels if I needed them. I thought this was very nice.

Spent a week hunting pheasants with my 16 year old son. Great location, friendly staff. Hot tub helped after day long schlep through tall grass. Hunter friendly and they allow dogs.

The hotel is out dated. The beds were hard and the TV didn't work. It didn't matter to much, because I was tired and just needed a shower and a bed to sleep in. Next trip to the Dakota's I will stay at a different hotel.

As Good As Any In Aberdeen

Best value in town. Now if they would add some sausage or ham or bacon or something to the breakfast in addition to the scrambled eggs every day, and breads,cereals, waffles, it would be a major improvement and rival anything else in Aberdeen. I checked in late in the evening and was met by a very surly and discourteous woman that almost had me out of there had I not prepaid [...]. Later on a time or two I saw her and she was nicer, but the first impression was awful.

Busy hotel with a good mix of guests and activities made the 4 day stay in the small town more enjoyable. Our room was smallish, but recently remodeled and well decorated.
The restaurant and bar were busy and the front end was upbeat and attentive. The kitchen however made each meal an adventure. Long waits for average food, each and every meal, became annoying. Free hot buffet breakfast in the mornings was a high point, though no meat was served. Lots of other choices though.
Overall, a decent stay. Would return and eat elsewhere.

We attempted to check in at about 5:00 PM and our room was not ready to be checked into. Pool did not look as it was pictured on the website. Beds were comfortable, internet was easy to connect to and the continental breakfast was awesome.

The hotel staff was friendly and the hotel itself was clean and we very much enjoyed our stay. The only drawback was that the area had been experiencing a lot of rain and the room felt damp since it was explained to us by hotel staff members that the window unit air conditioner drew air from outside.

This was a decent hotel I was there only for one night and was only there to sleep.
