This is a newly constructed hotel with lots of eco friendly features. The bed was extremely comfortable with a menu of pillows to choose from. they had great complementary toiletries from a big name chain. Down side, you can hear everything in the hallways and toilets flushing from surrounding rooms. It would have been nice to have HD TV, but there is a sports bar and grill down stairs with HD. If you are a light sleeper this may not be the hotel for you as it is next to a hospital and sirens are heard all night. Good value for the money.

Stayed in Columbia to go to the Masters. The hotel was very clean and the staff was accommodating. We ate a the adjoining sports bar and that was a different story. The food was marginal at best and the service was horrendous. We ate downtown the following night at the "Vista" and had a great time - recommend you go there. Would definately stay at the hotel again but would eat somewhere else.

This Motor Inn was clean, well kept, and friendly. We will stop there again. It is a bit far from I-77, but if you are going southeast on I-26, it is perfectly along your route, as it is just off I-26. It is fun to see some of this great city.

Clean and comfortable for the price and location.
Excellent for a 6am flight out of Columbia with very easy car rental drop-off. Many eating choices within about a mile by car. East-west freeway access 0.5 mile away, easy drive to Charleston(east) and Augusta, GA(west). Staff was helpful with local information. Would stay here again~

Located in West Colombia, this Quality Inn is a good fall-back when rooms in the USC area are full. The staff was friendly, the rooms plain but clean. A/C worked well (important!) as did the TV. Water pressure was low but hot water seemed plentiful. A Waffle House, Maurice's BBQ, and a Sonic are nearby, as is some strip mall shopping. It's a kind of depressed area made slightly more upscale due to proximity to the highway.

I was grossed out by the look of the room. I felt I was staying in a hooker hotel. Floors stained and with burn marks from an iron. Walls not painted and holes. Bathroom unclean with leaking tub. The bedspread needing washing. Bed uncomfortable. Seriously. Even being in the military I would of preferred my cot in a hanger over this. Nasty. Never again [...]
