I GOT THERE EARLY THAN I WAS SURPPORT TO BUT THE STAFF LET ME CHECK IN EARLY THE ROOM WAS WELL KEEP AND CLEAN HAD A VERY NICE BREAKFAST AND THE HOTEL SITS IN A VERY NICE PRIME LOCATION FOR DINING AND RIGHT OFF I-95.

it was a nice quiet place to stay/many restuarants in immediate area

i was leaving Florida on the way home to prepare for hurricane Irene so i wanted a place right off the highway, near restaurants, and with a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was from 6-9/ i would have preferred it to go until 10............as my son and i missed it because the alarm did not go off. if traveling near Santee again i would stay here again.

A good cheap place to rest two nights before checking into Lake Marion Resort at Santee. Easy to reach Charleston to attend Piccolo Spoleto Festival on Saturday. Good price for a basic place with a very good breakfast.

Great place to stay

We stayed here overnight on a trip to Florida. Nice surprise to find a reasonably priced restaurant/bar-not an extensive menu but the food was decent and the staff was very pleasant. Great breakfast. Even though there were highly rated restaurants within walking distance,we were tired and it was cold, and we were content with the option of eating in the hotel. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I would have rated this a 5 but the "heated pool" wasn't and the pool room was chilly. The TV in the small fitness center didn't work, but there were a treadmill, elliptical machine and recumbent bike. Definitely will stay here again

The rooms were clean,I rented 3. The bathroom vents did not work! No continental breakfast, they had a restaurant but I had to many people and the food was$$. I had a budget. If I had to do it again I would have chose a hotel with a containetal breakfast.

Good but for water problems

All was fine except for water problems. Took forever to get barely warm water in sink and while waiting noticed water pooling next to tub (connection?). Water in shower on the other hand was instantly hot and hard to regulate.
Good on-site restaurant with excellent full (free) breakfast. Fix the piping please.
Also was very annoyed that I didn't earn points because I booked through Orbitz, so I guess I'll do my own booking in the future.

i used the hotel for a night layover on the way to florida. the room was ready and clean. tv was a bit scratchy for a picture. but i had to stand and wait about 10 minutes before anyone came to the desk to register me. i rang the bell about 10 times and no one showed up. i was about to leave when someone came and registered me. a great hotel for a layover and worth the money but dont expect great service.

Okay for a night

We spend a quick overnight at the hotel. Room was okay but the walls were dirty. The bathroom was spotless and the bed was clean and very comfortable. We did not want to spend that much for a less than 12 hour stay and found the price to be right. The ice machine was not working and this is definately a no frills hotel.

As long as all you want to do is us the bed and take a shower, then great. Phone didn't work, pool was not clean, water comes into the room when it rains, have not upgraded anything in the room, like tv. They claimed to have wifi. Never was able to prove it.
