I love that it was gated resort and we did have great time .Its located right on the beach and kids loved it ..i gave 3 stars because our room was really small and old .view was so so .we were on the 3rd floor and had a pool view and some ocean overall i do recommend but dont stay in a studio if you have kids

Family activities such as tennis courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts, a fitness center and a playground round-out the family fun. An oceanfront bar and grill, deli, seasonal snack bars and a great picnic area provide you with an unforgettable family experience. Don't forget the Resort also welcomes motorcycles.
The Myrtle Beach Resort is among the most popular resorts in the area. This conveniently located resort offers 33 beautiful acres fully secured behind a gated entrance off Business Highway 17. Kids and adults alike will love the amenities that include a 375 ft lazy river, a wet deck, six swimming pools (two indoors pools) and 4 whirlpools (three indoor and one outdoor).

The resort was nice but the the room left a lot to be desired. The bed was very hard and covered with plastic and the pillows were very bad. There was mold around the bath tub and holes around the sides. There was also only about 10 to 15 min of hot water for showers and took about 2 hrs to heat back up.

During the summer months, there are nightly entertainment and scheduled childrens activities. The resort security staff will issue a permanent parking pass. Parking passes are USD 5.00 for each auto. This fee will be collected at check-in. Registered guest may pick up keys. Check in at MBM office at 1500 Hwy 17 N. Suite 206, between 330pm-5pm or call by 5pm to make arrangements. Do not go directly to resort to check in unless requested to. Check out time is no later than 10am sharp. Minimum age required to make reservation is 25. If you need Internet during your vacation, stay away from this resort because it is extremely hard for you to get or keep the access. Other than that, this resort is a nice place. It is directly on the beach, has good landscape and lots of facilities.
