Great stay at HIlton Head Westin

Overall this is a quality hotel. The pluses; location, great beach, great pool, close to everything,
The minuses were minor and understandable. If you have hundreds of people coming in from the beach and pool, you will have sand and water brought back in over the carpets, etc. Still, Westin is clean, and while the carpets may show wear, it is a classy establishment.
Family loved it. For price - look you all know that the food at the hotel is going to be expensive, so don't complain about it.
Overall, we had a blast, and would stay again.

The outside of this Hotel is outstanding with all of the pools and hot tubs and water falls. We did not spend enough time on site because local friends took us to all of their favorite restaurants. So, we did not get to try HH Prime. We only had some breakfast in room service that was very good. We booked an Ocean front suite. We were a little disappointed because I would call it an Ocean view since we were looking from the side. But it was only a minor issue. We could have moved but once settled in my wife said let's stay where we are. The front desk person was extremly accomodating.

My friend and I went to the Marriott to relax and do nothing. We are both cancer patients and fininshing chemo. We were treated very good. We loved the ocean front room and the location was excellent. We have stayed down close to Sea Pines before by Coligny circle and this was much nicer.My only complaint was paying for parking and the parking was not close to the hotel but it was good exercise. Lighted walk ways on the pool deck floor would be a great added touch. Its very dark. Also the walk ways to the parking area are very slippery after a rain. Some new non-slip strips in tubs are also needed. overrall it was great and we plan to return.Hotel provides very nice shampoo and conditioner and lotion so leave yours at home.

We enjoyed tennis lessons for the kids, the pool and visiting the beach. The condition of our unit was not as good as we are accustomed to. We had to have housekeeping to come and clean the inch of dust off all the ceiling fans. We could not get a towel change without paying for it and had to wash resort towels and washcloths. There were NO washers/dryers in the unit so we had to tote our clotes to the community laundry room. To make matters worse, the dryers did not dry the clothes and they were too expensive. All of this took some enjoyment out of the vacation. I would get a different cleaning service. They did not clean up to standards we have seen in other resorts.

We've been going to Hilton Head since 1981 and we've always enjoyed our trips. All of the places we've stayed have been fabulous until this year. I was under the assumption we were staying closer to the beach and we weren't. I went to the office to get another garbage bag and they told me that was a starter set and you don't get anymore. The same with towels they wanted to charge $13 for a bundle of towels. There was no washer and dryer in the facility either. We had stayed at that complex before and there was a washer and dryer and their wasn't in this one. Just very disappointed in that and will not stay in that resort anymore.

We were confused at first and called to find out where we needed to check in, but then were able to just grab our keys and go to the room. The room itself was on the first floor, which we didn't want at first. We were actually pleased to be there because it had easy beach and pool access and had 2 bedrooms and stocked kitchen. It was a little old but clean and had a nice flat-screen TV. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms so we could spread out our things and were able to shower and get ready to go out at the same time. The beach was wide, clean and not too crowded in spite of the number of units We recommend the Island Bistro, especially for brunch, and New York Pizza, both within walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised that the food prices weren't as high as we'd thought. The drive from Woodstock, Ga was 5 hours so we'd go again, to that condo, too.

Great location, right across the street from the beach and half a mile from restaurants and shops. Super easy check in and check out! Upgraded free of charged upon check in. Villa was spotless and well equipped.

Within walking distance or a short drive away are many restaurants, shops and activities for the whole family. Amenities include separate living and sleeping area, full kitchen with all appliances and dishes, balcony, washer and dryer and on-site pool. Activities available include golf, tennis, biking, water sports, fishing, boating and a variety of different tours. Pets are not permitted. All villas are non-smoking.
Guests must check in at the office of Hilton Head Rentals and Sales. Check-in is at 4:00 pm and check-out is at 10:00 am. Keys and directions will be given at check-in. This Hotel was a great experience. The Rental place was very friendly and had awesome customer service. They upgraded us to a bigger room for no reason and that was very much appreciated. The price for the condo was amazing. The room was a little messy when we first got there. We found some things wrong, like the diswasher disposal was broken and the screen but we are college students so it did not bother us at all. The view and rooms were great size. The beach was our backyard. It is very private you need codes to get in everywhere but it felt very safe. This was an awesome place to stay, our other friends who stayed here had a great experience as well.

It was a very nice experience. Would go back again. The location to a lot of things was great. Liked the fact that it had a security gate.
