Not bad at all for the money.

I paid between $40-$50 per night and it was definitely not bad for the price. The cleaning crew came into the room and actually cleaned while I was in bed, it was a little strange. I've never had that happen before but other than that the room was clean and comfortable.

Clean room, good continental breakfast, nice pool except there are NO lounge chairs! Staff friendly and helpful, nice lounge down the street called Cowboys and Indians, six bucks for cab ride. No fridge in room but ice machines available.

sheets had stains on them and the staff was hesitant
to replace them. There was no fire alarm and
the smoke detector was missing. The door had
a 2"-3" gap between the bottom of the door and
floor. The view out the back was nice.

went for daughters marine graduation,and checked in to find that the room was very hot,walls painted orange,looked like a crack motel,next morning woke to roaches in our bed and on bathroom sink,wanted to get refund but you cant cancel without 100% forfeture of your money,once you pay you have to stay or lose your money,not recommended at all,howard johnson should not have thier name affiliated with this motel!!!

Parris Island graduation

My family was there for my daughter's graduation from Marine Corps boot camp at Parris Island. The hotel was about 15 minutes from the base's gate, and it was an easy drive to the base. The hotel had a continental breakfast that included hot food each day, such as biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage, etc. Very good. Breakfast usually starts at 6 but because family day at the base starts real early, the hotel started its breakfast at 5:30 to accommodate the families going. I thought that was terrific. Across the street from the hotel was the bay, so the sunrises were terrific. Definitely a hotel I'd stay at again.

This visit to Beaufort, SC was one of the best we have taken. The hotel was excellent, the room was very clean and everything we needed was there. It is located to all you would want to do and see. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Best
Western Plus very much. Highly recommended!!!!!

Great access to everything in downtown Beaufort. The staff was outstanding. The facilities were beautiful. Our stay was quiet and relaxing in the very comfortable rooms.
