Description
The Sand Dollar Inn offers lodging convenient to the unspoiled beaches and rivers of South County, Rhode Island in Westerly. We are just minutes to many restaurants, golfing, shopping, swimming, and museums, Mystic Aquarium, Mystic Seaport and Watch Hill. We offer impeccably clean and comfortable accommodations with A/C, individually zoned heat, cable TV, touch tone phones, mini freezer, and private baths. The bathrooms were all recently renovated in the Fall of 2009.

Nice location for Westerly Hospital

Checked in late upgrade to King Bed. The bed was made up with lots of pillows and pretty sheets and comforter. Very comfortable. Bathroom was clean.

Nice, quiet inn for price

The best part of this inn is that it is a short drive (about 10 minutes) to Misquamicut Beach, with out the hefty prices of staying directly on the beach. The location was quiet and peaceful. The staff was fairly friendly; however they weren't able to suggest any good dining places near by, so we were stuck making a blind decision for dinner. The rooms were clean, just slighly small and lacking some amenities. If there was a microwave and hair dryer in the room it would have been a bit better. Also the shower was extremely small and lacking any sort of shelving. The breakfast lacked many options, and therefore, we had to stop somewhere else to eat. Besides these things, the overall stay was good.
