Stay was nice ...could use more parking. Rooms were very clean staff were nice. The breakfast was ok, but nice to have it go till 10am and checkout at 12 noon.

Great place to ride out a hurricane!

Decided to ride out Hurricane Irene in this comfortable, clean and friendly hotel. They accept pets, so that was a big help. A great breakfast is provided in the morning, and the swimming pool was awesome. Many other families chose to ride out the storm here as well. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

We just needed a room close to the airport for one night to take a flight at 6:30 a.m. the next morning. The front desk clerks (probably trainees) were polite and helpful. The room was clean, neat and comfortable. Our hallway was very quiet. We thought the king bed was the best we have ever had in a hotel. The only disappointment was no continental breakfast.

The elevator smelled profusely of cigarette smoke...until we got into our hallway
We were here for a funeral of a family member who died in an unexpected auto accident.
it would have been nice to have a list of eating places in our room, as we are not there often

I went to a conference that was held downtown Providence and this hotel worked out well for me (young female professional). It's not the best hotel, but for $50 a night, it is perfect. Breakfast was decent. The airport shuttle was great. And it was much better than paying $150 for downtown rates.

Stayed 2 nights, basicly what I expected, not much.Hotel could benifit from updating, room was clean. Had a fire alarm at midnight first night, went down to lobby in PJ's, fire rtucks out side, someone had set off fire extinguisher on 2nd floor that vent system spread and seemed like smoke pouring out of 1st floor lobby! All ended OK, arrested the guy that did it!

I booked this hotel very last minute - about 8pm for same night stay. On Orbitz, from the room choices I was given, I chose a smoking room with a king sized bed. I checked in no problem and was given room key. After I got settled in the room, I realized that there weren't any ashtrays. I called the front desk to check if room was a smoking room & I was told no, but if I wanted a smoking room I could go back down to the front desk & be assigned one. I did just this and told the staff that I specifically chose a smoking room from the choices given to me. I was told that when booking through a third party rooms were automatically assigned upon check in based on what rooms there were the most of. Very confused as to why choices are even given if the room you choose is not was is reserved for you.......

We stayed at the Homewood Suites for 5 days while we were visiting family for a funeral. We were very pleasantly surprised by all the extras that you get at this hotel. The suite included a full kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, and stove, although we didn't need to use it as it turned out. With a queen bed, like we had, you have a door to separate your bedroom from the living room. The biggest plus, however, was the breakfast buffet! Eggs, bacon, sausage, make yourself waffles, cereal, pastries, and more! We usually only see the cereal and pastry breakfast bar. This was much more. They also offered a different choice each morning- french toast one morning, omelets another. They also offer free wine, beer, and snacks every night. We never were there to try them, but the couple we stayed with said they were terrific. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Providence!

Was visiting for a couple of days. Enjoyed the proximity of the hotel to the interstate and the airport. Their shuttle service was very good, made only one call to the hotel, within 10 minutes they were picking me up. Employees were very accommodating. Room was nice but the view of the bar/restaurant roof top was not very panoramic..
The restaurant and service was very good. All in all I was very satisfied with this hotel. I would return there and I would recommend it to others.

We just stayed for one night and it worked very well for us. The price and the service was fine compared to other places in the area. It was a little difficult to find as it was off the main road. But the place it self was well maintained and the staff very polite and efficient.

I always book the Sheraton while traveling alone, making a point to arrive early to relax, say the night before , order room service , watch a movie... Even partake in a lite workout.

I use the hotel weekly, I do business in Providence. I find it a little bit away from downtown, however, a great value. They have a free appetizer open to all guests every night. This is a nice place to stay. I was under reno for a while, not the case now! JB

Between walking through the main doors which thank you for stepping through them to relaxing in the clean, spacious rooms, my fiance and I had a wonderful time at the Crowne Plaza and definitely recommend a stay there for anyone looking to get away from the chaos that is our lives. Only upsetting part was that our stay was so short! Also, accessibility to local highways (95 and 295) is great as the hotel basically sits overlooking the highway. Downtown Providence is roughly 10-15 minutes away, too, which isn't far (and that's coming from a native Rhode Islander). Enjoy if you decide on it!

All we were looking for was a place near the airport so we could get to our 6am flight in time. The room was simple, very clean. This was just perfect for what we wanted.

We needed a hotel close to the city for an afordable price. The hotel had clean sheets, clean bathroom, hot water and heat. It was the cheapest I found just around 10 miles away from the city. But, of course, They didn't provide wifi, breakfast, shampoo, and their towels were small. For the price I paid it was what we need it.
