Everything about my stay was perfect except for getting there. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable (loved the bed) and accomodating. Great breakfast. The sfaff was friendly. Whirlpool was great for relaxing. And although there weren't many restaurant choicesin the immediate vicinity (a few fast food and one sit-down type which was actually across the parking lot) , the highway was very easily accessible and the restaurants were within an easy drive. The value was incredible. I picked up a really sweet deal online at less than half the regular room rate. My only complaint is the signage. It was dark & rainy when I arrived. The sign marking the driveway entrance is only about 18" square and at ground level. There was no light on it and the drivewas itself was dark. It leads to one restaurant and a few other hotels but you would never know they are back there. A bigger sign & some street lights would be fantastic. Other than that I highly recommend The Wingate.

I've been to Wyndham Hotels in New Orleans, Harrisburg, and now Mechanicsburg. They seem to offer the best value. I select hotels based on reviews and price and Wyndham has recently floated to the top every time, without any conscious decision to go with them when I start searching. From now on, they may be my hotel of choice b/c they combine value + service.

Hotel was about as expected. Decent room at a decent rate. The shower could have been a little cleaner, but was not disgusting. The only real negative was I had some money missing out of my room when I got back one day. Pretty sure that the housekeeper took it since in the hour I was gone our bed was made up.... Other than that staff was friendly, and hotel was decent.

The hotel staff was great. They attended to our every need, very courteous and helpful. Our room was close to the elevator and we were able to hear the elevator bells at night. If you are planning a stay at the hotel, request a room far from the elevator. We were also able to hear people walking around on the floor above our room. The main room looked clean, but the bathroom was not. There was dirt build up in the corners and the tile grout looked dirty. Housekeeping did not provide enough towels for the people in the room, even after bringing it to their attention. They did provide breakfast, but it?s very limited and the area is near the front desk and can't accommodate many people. There was no attendant to restock the supplies, so get there early or? your out of luck!

The staff at this hotel is unbelievable...so friendly and accomodating. The rooms are SUPER comfy and clean. The hotel offers a full, hot breakfast buffet that includes everything from omelets to cereal to fruit to waffles. DELICIOUS!! We were so sad to leave this Home - Away - From - Home.
We have been coming to Hershey for 7 years for Lacrosse Tournaments and this is BY FAR the BEST hotel we have stayed in. We will return every year during our tournaments. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended.

This hotel has been wonderful each time. Everything was comfortable from the pillows to nice hot shower. My laptop connected easily to the wireless internet. Plenty of channels on the TV. Coffee maker, microwave and fridge in our room. Extra coffee available in the lobby. I mean, for the price, it doesn't get any better than this. Superb! Keep up the good work.

Front desk clerk was somewhat rude (there was a sign on the counter asking for patience and that someone would return soon...) Gave me my room key and said "well somehow your room is paid for. room is on the key" and turned around and left.
Room was nice (Comfort Inn on Tech Parkway) - location was fantastic to a wedding I attended and to major roads to get in and out of town.

Nice place for a short visit

Needed a 2 night stay close to our daughter for a special event, our first grandchild's Christenting. This hotel served our purpose, as our main goal was a place to sleep for the night. Hotel is older but suprisingly clean. Continental Breakfast was slim, but adequate if you do not have a large appetite and just want something to tide you over to a more adequate meal. Just a little trouble checking in, but it all worked out fine. Would stay here again for convenience sake. P.S. Pool looked nice and clean, but we just didn't have the time.

Since we were looking for something on the cheap, that was also convenient to visiting friends in Mechanicsburg, as well as Route 15 and PA Turnpike access, this was a good choice. There are a couple restaurants, and a 24-hour grocery store nearby as well.
Had a king-size bed which was comfortable. Room was clean; a couple towels looked a little worn and lightly stained. If they "update" the towels and bed linens, they would get a higher rating next time.
It was also a tad noisy, but it's also close to major highways, and it was booked solid for the 4th.
Night shift front desk clerk was very courteous.

They did accomidate us and refund last night of stay due to hurricane since we had to leave earlier then exected.

We went up to this area to visit Hershey and wanted a place where 2 adults and 2 children would be comfortable. We loved having a small kitchen and a separate room with a tv in each and a doorway between them. We could watch a football game while the kids watched Disney and Nick in the other room. The staff was extremely helpful in providing us with additional requests when checking in since one of us is on crutches. We were only about 25 minutes from Hershey and the price could not be matched within hours of Hershey. We were very happy with the cleanliness of our room, the ceiling fan kept us comfortable all night, the bathroom and the rest of the room were spacious, and the breakfast was a great bonus.

The hotel was comfortable and had a very nice location. There was a coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, and flat screen in every room. The bed was very comfortable and my overall stay was quite relaxing. We did however hae several problems with the remote and ended up giving up on the television. My biggest issue with this hotel was the miscomunication between staff members when I attempted to upgrade my room, the entire ordeal ended in my not recieving the upgrade because the rooms had all been taken by the time they figured it out.

A Good Nights Sleep

We arrived about an hour early and the clerk at the desk did her job and made us wait till it was check in time. However the manager ([...]) came over to us about a half hour later offered us complimentary drinks and got us our room right away. The room was tidy and the bed was comfortable. Had a fridge, a microwave, and internet service. All was good for us.

This Hotel does not Have a FREE breakfast included in the price of your stay it coast you $10.99 per person. (after talking to the manager he did give me a complementry one)
