Room was very nice, clean and spacious. Going in we were a little worried it would be hard to watch the tv in bed cause the online pics only show it facing the living room, but it is easily turnable. Great room and experience.

Lovely location and a friendly, helpful staff. We did find the place a bit noisy when we arrived at 1000pm, but perhaps it was a weekend of special events. Enjoyed the experience--great food--and would visit again,

The best hotel staff I have experienced in many years. They were respectful and very business oriented. Handle any of our needs immediately and without an attitude.
The restaurant was excellent in service and food.
The corporate office should be made aware of the excellent staff they have working for them in Erie,PA.

There is only really two things I could complain about. 1. The pillows were so hard I would wake up with a headache each morning. 2. The pool was very small. Other than that, it was great. Staff was very nice, continental breakfast was decent, the room was clean and spacious, easy to get to. My husband and I had a great time.

the place was ok nothing over whelming, was fair for the money. family was comfortable but the hotel is a little older so it has some wear and tear, but clean. if you are expecting the latest forget it. i liked the hotel was in semi residential area felt safe, no problems. recommend you go out for dinner, breakfeast was buffet $4 was ok. not far from millcreek mall i79 and i79 to grovecity outlet mall for shopping good home base.

It was an "ok" room, it had a slight musty smell in it. The cleaning lady wasn't very friendly when we asked for fresh towels. We asked for our room not to be touched and when we got back from lunch the beds were made. The pool also had a slight green tint too it the time that we stayed there. Online it said they had hbo but didn't and the internet service was very frustrating.. in and out constantly. Comp. breakfast... what comp breakfast???? didn't see much of anything there. But all in all if i needed a place to stay and wanted a low price i would stay there.. just to have somewhere to stay cause I didn't see any bugs and it seemed pretty clean.

We needed a good place to stay near the Erie International Airport. We had to get up very early for aflight the next morning. The room was clean, well stocked with towels and amenities, had great TV - entertainment center, and very friendly staff. They even woke us up on time! Great experience!

My experience at Comfort Inn Presque Isle was a pleasant one. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, and the continental breakfast was plentiful and offered many options. No complaints at all, and I would definitely stay here again.

a was little skeptical when i booked the stay, but since it was convenient, pet friendly and the picture of the new rooms looked nice, i thought i may be worth the $120. the picture was totally accurate! the room was great. the king size bed/room gave us all we needed with extra comforts. the hotel was conveniently located. the staff was friendly and efficient. maybe the 2 star rating was made before the re-furbished the rooms, but they need to upgrade the rating to 4 stars for that type of a hotel.

Our visit to this hotel was not our first, the dates we stayed here was from Oct 6-10, 2010. We stayed at this hotel many times, it is no way the Ritz,but it is clean (as it can be for a very outdated hotel)The staff was very courteous and helpful when called upon. Our friend had no shower curtain, we mentioned this to the saff at the front desk in the morning, and by the time we got back to the room after breakfast the curtain was there. The breakfast room staff always cheerful in the morning. The breakfast is not the best, but the food is edible, the room has to many tables and the they are very close together. The three adults in our group rented two rooms did not mind the closeness at breakfast because we were only there for a short time before we went out shopping. We went to the "OUTLET MALL", in "Grove City". This place will take about one hour to get to, but well worth it, make sure that is not raining when you go the MALL for it is not indoors, all stores are connected but from store to store you have to leave one and go into the next, make sure that you have very comfortable shoes, there is a lot of stores and therefore a lot of walking, also a real pain if it is raining.
The reason we picked this hotel is because it is very close to shopping and restaurants.

Overall a good experience, great breakfast, nice people. Only suggestion, set the coffee urns in the hallway when the dining area closes at 10 am for us coffee lovers. :)

Staff was very nice & room was clean. Great location and shuttle to casino is a plus. Light sleepers need to request a room away from Interstate 90 side to avoid noise from truck traffic.

Every thing was great,we went for the casino and its very close,they even offer a shuttle.We ate next door at Black Jax's,very good food.We would stay there again.

Was there visiting son and grandchildren. There was a severe winter storm while I was there, which limited my enjoyment. But the hotel was fine, except they did not plow their parking areas, causing some difficulty getting in and out of the auto.

A pleasant enough motel. No serious problems. Out of the way, although the truck traffic on the nearby I-90 sounded like waves on a distant beach--sort of nice actually.

When we walked into the room, my wife was n-love with it and gave me a kiss. It was like a little home. You see how I rated everything from about so there is not much to say. There was one bad thing about the room but it was not a biggy and it was dealing withe bed. The fitted sheets kept on coming off. Before I went to this hotel, I read someone elses review and that was the only thing bad they said as well but I plan on going back. I don't plan on letting this small problem keep me from coming back here. The breakfast was lovely and the finger foods was nice as well.Swam alot in the hotel and on the beach. Nice places to eat.

We were looking for an inexpensive stopover in Erie.
This place fit the bill. Nothing fancy and good rate.
My only issue is with the bed linens. It's time for an update on blanket and sheets. We would stay here again.

could not find the fitness room, nor anyone to ask. Visitors were not welcome at the pool. otherwise, quick location find, easy checkin, clean and comfortable room.

At the El Patio, you're just minutes from 7 miles of beaches at Presque Isle State Park. In addition to great swimming and sunbathing, here you'll find hiking, biking and rollerblading trails, canoe and boat rentals, sight-seeing boat tours, shore and charter fishing and much more.
Just two blocks from the El Patio is Waldameer Park and Waterworld, with plenty of rides, slides, games and shows. Of course there are also go-carts, bumper cars, miniature golf and a driving range near by and for sports fans, it's a short drive downtown for pro sports with the Erie SeaWolves AA baseball and Erie Otters OHL hockey.
The El Patio is also a sportsmen's paradise, just minutes from some of the best hunting and fishing areas in the region. We stayed at this hotel 5 years ago and had a nice experience. This stay left a lot to be desired. The hotel was not clean, there was a giant water puddle outside of our room that I heard a few people fall in, the stairs were covered with cigarette butts and trash. Our TV was from really old and barely worked. There were tons of bikers that stay the same weekend as us and the noise, profanity, and drinking was out of control. We will not be staying here again.

The amenities are perfect. The pool was clean and the hot tub actually functions like it should. Front desk staff are friendly and very helpful. Excellent value for money!

For an overnight stay you cant beet the value. The rooms decor reflects the budget price but it is out weighed by the free breakfast buffet at the adjacent restaurant. If I was traveling with children, I would have spent the extra money a better decor.

A bit rough around the edges, but you get a clean room, a neat bath, comfortable bed, and surprisingly quiet stay--despite the "truck stop" atmosphere. Even though I was on the Interstate side of the building, traffic was barely audible--less than many three and four star accommodations.
Don't expect friendly customer service during check-in. It's done by whomever is running the cash register in the convenience store.

First time we booked through [...]. We booked 2 non-smoking rooms for 2 nights. When arriving, we were told by the hotel that "non-smoking" rooms booked through [...] are treated as only as a request and since the hotel was booked solid, we would have to take smoking rooms. The rooms "reeked" of smoke. The manager tried using a machine for an hour to clean the odor from the rooms and changed all of the linens but with little success at reducing odor. Since it was a big soccer weekend in Erie, all of the other hotels in the area were booked so we put up with the odor and avoided the room.
