Only had a couple of minutes to check in before going to an event. Desk clerk ([...] ) was very efficient. The pool is well kept and open until 10pm (yeah). Breakfast area is clean and well stocked - nice seating arrangement.

The room was pretty clean, there was cable and a mini-fridge. Staff accommodated our crib and late check-in requests with no problems. Parking was really tight.

Beautiful hotel with paper thin walls!!

I have always enjoyed Country Inn and Suites. This one was very busy with business people. Slamming heavy doors at 5:30 am. You could hear the phones ring in other rooms as well at people walking above you. Not the place to stay if you want to sleep in.
Breakfast served from 6-9:30. There were scrambled eggs/omelette, biscuits and gravy/bacon, waffles, fruit (sometimes),cereal,toast, bagel,yogurt, coffee, tea, milk, hot choc,apple & orange juice.
Pool was large and clean but a bit cool. Hot tub was large and hot.
Nice hotel to stay for one night. We stayed 3 nights as a base to visit family. If I did stay here again I would asks for the top floor. We were on the ground floor.

We stayed at La Quinta Inn one night on our way to visit friends for the weekend. It was right off the highway, convenient for us. The room was very comfortable, clean, & quiet. The breakfast was nothing special, but sufficient & quick with cereals, toast, & fresh make-yourself Belgian waffles.

Not worth what you pay for

We had a king size bed, but they gave us 4 pillows that were about a foot wide. No fan in the bathroom, tub was not useful for much, and the shower curtain kept coming out. Locks needed work as they had to be jiggled open. Outside lights were not all working. Pool had a film on the water and was small. Dim light as you walked in the door. Was quiet even with being right beside the interstate. Other neighbors doors were loud to late in the night.

Met all of our needs, staff was friendly and helpful. Did not use any of the other features as we were with daughter and family most of the day. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Did not get to eat at their in house restaurant.

Not good for business people

well the night that me and my family stayed here just so happened to be a night when something with soccer teams where all getting together for a tournament. for most of the day little kids where all over the halls which is ok durring the day. but at 10 at night about 12 kids or so in the hall screeming and playing. while people are trying to sleep plenty of people kept opening there doors and asking for quite enen i did atleast 5 times. finally around 2 in the morning i fell asleep. in the morning i talked to a lady that worked there and she said that the manager lets that happen every night. now i am a business owner and if i was in that town for business i would have thrown a much bigger argument but i was there for a family outing for Gettysburg,PA and my family said not to worry about it. although the next day instead of enjoying our outing we were all tired due to the lack of sleep the night before. i will never go to this hotel againd and that is a promise

Our family of seven travelled to Chambersburg to attend a funeral of a family member. We found the Hampton Inn perfect for our needs. We rented two rooms and, to our delight, they were connecting rooms and we were able to all be together. We had a very good free breakfast before we checked out.

I'll Never Stay There Again

Management was rude and refused to provide a refund for checking out 2 days early. Advertised to have in room coffee but the room had no coffee maker. Exterior door did not lock for security. Online reviews were spot on. I wish I had listened.

We were supposed to be staying in 2 rooms - No Air Conditioning in either - No Wireless Internet in either- We worked with the front desk and moved rooms, tried to move closer to the signal and get cold air - still no air working and no wireless. Front desk insisted both times and with all 4 rooms that they had air and wireless before we went to the room (maybe hoping we would notice). The only slight wireless signal you may get is from the IHOP across the way and that is too intermittent to do anything. We left - very disappointing!

It was a nice place to stay, and the breakfast that was provided was great. Even though I requested a handicapped room and we got a smoking room, it was okay. My husband smokes a pipe, so he was happy he did not have to go outside to smoke. We were there for my husbands 50th class reunion and it was a very nice time all in all.

Hotel is not that old but has some minor maintenance issues. I found loose screws on door security hasp, the drain stopper in bath tub would not stay up and a light was bulb out - signs of neglect. Otherwise, it was a clean and comfortable hotel for the price.

The room was not inexpensive, but all the amenities were on the cheap. For example, the tv had basic cable, but there were no listings, so you had to keep switching to the TV guide channel. The room had a hairdryer, but not a very good one. Ditto on the iron. Very disappointing breakfast for the money.
I think that the room was overpriced by a full third.
The manager was very nice though.
