A comfortable property, but showing signs of wear. Rooms were clean and spacious, but not worth the price charged. The front desk staff friendly, but rather slow. Unlike other area properties, the Red Lion charges, a nominal fee, for breakfast further limiting the cost-value ratio of the property. In addition, I requested two queen beds, but was initially told that the room I reserved had only one queen bed. To accommodate my request the front desk charged me an additional $20.00 upgrade fee.

The hotel is older but seems to be kept in good shape. The room was quite and comfortable. My husband and I were taking a break from work and met at the hotel because Pendleton was about half way between our seperate jobs. The price was affordable. I probably would stay there again. The staff was very pleasant.

The breakfast consisted of a loaf of bread with a toaster and a box of powered donuts.
Recommend if on a budget, but not if you are a breakfast eater.

Great location to my destination.

The room was small, but neat and clean. However, I did not like, or understand, why we were placed in a room in the back of the hotel, on the top floor, right next to the stairwell, When the hotel appeared to be pretty vacant. Over all, not a bad little place.

Room was clean and contained a small microwave and small fridge. Bathroom recepticle is inconvieniently place above the mirror. Don't recommend streetside rooms. On Wednesdays a very noisy streetcleaner drives down the street at 5:30 am.

The Staff was pleasant enough. Average accomodations for the price. The plumbing was out of order due to some hunters using the sink to clean their game birds! Go figure! Other than that it was really unremarkable. I was a little surprised to find the charges on my bank statement two days before I even arrived.

Marieia was quite charming and friendly. She made my grandson and I quite at home, My grandson especially enjoyed the breakfast. It was freezing outside but we stayed nice and toasty in our room, We plan to stay there on our next trip to Pendelton

I really liked this little place! It was much nicer than I expected. The rooms are small but cozy. They were very friendly, they even upgraded us to a mini suite from a single room just because our room wasn't ready when we got there! And we were early!

We have stayed here before and will return again. its a small place with a great staff. Rooms are very nice and extremely comfortable beds. Out of town a bit and the road outside is pretty well traveled with the train tracks behind the place. of course the rooster crowing down the street is actually pleasing. just blocks from the woolen mill

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times. We find the location good, housekeeping is very good and the overall service is top notch - very friendly. The only negative was that the bed in our last stay was too soft.

The rooms were clean, and we could take our dogs with us. This is going to be a monthly trip because our son is incarcerated at the pententery there in Pendleton. It is very affordable, the only thing I wish they would have a continental breakfast and there was no shampoo or conditioner in the rooms, so bring your own.

In 105 degree heat, we loved the pool!! The room was clean and plenty big enough. We rented 2 rooms. Air conditioner did not work in one. They did not offer a discount for the inconvience, so some of us slept comfortable and others slept miserable.
