Very nice room. Quiet and restfull. I went to the Lon Skinner Races and was glad for the quiet. The only thing that bothered me was not related to the Hotel. There was bird feathers every where.It was a good thing I did not have respirator problems.

The hotel and staff were great, but I've come to expect that at Holiday Inn Express hotels. The breakfast was the only thing that could improve - more fruit, replenished more frequently, but otherwise it was exactly what we were looking for.

A very nice place to rest and make it home while traveling

Very well located, right off of I-5. The handicap room, we requested was well equiped with hand bars making easy for my husband. The bedroom was roomy. We stayed overnight on our way up and down to and from Portland. Now on when I travel I will look for Best Western Hotel wherever we go.

We were headed back from Yosemite to Seattle and needed a place for the night. It was clean and convenient and reasonably priced. The free breakfast was not very impressive and we opted to eat elsewhere. For $95 it was fine for the night.

I liked the hotel, however, breakfast was not included in the price, reading previous reviews I had the impression that it was and that was a little disappointing. For the price it was a great place to stay. It is hard to find a decent place these days without breaking the bank. While I did not take advantage of all the amenities offered by this hotel, I feel the hotel was a great place to stay and would stay there again given the opportunity. I was looking for a place that was on the low side of the cost spectrum without worrying about bugs, dirty rooms, crime, etc. The Red Lion was comfortable and clean and I did not feel scared to be staying there.

Staying at the Medford Inn

We stayed at the Medford Inn on April 29 and 30, 2011.
They are in the middle of a remodel to update the motel, but it in no way impacted our stay.
The staff was very helpful and full of suggestions on where to eat and offered discount coupons to several places nearby.
I would recommend this motel as the price was worth the value.

The location can be confusing because of the roadway configuration...new to the area...rental vehicle...at night...wow! Where was that place? And...how do I get there from here? Not too bad after the first few tries.

I was in Medford for a quick overnight business trip. The hotel was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. No attached restaurant. Helpful in finding a place for dinner. Room was great. Big, clean and a great price. I felt really safe. Breakfast is limited but free so was fine. Overall really happy with my stay. Would stay again.

We were in town visiting family. The complimentary breakfast was your usual fare. We really enjoyed our room. It's nicely decorated and very nice and new. Our suite had a door in between the bedroom and living room and while one of us slept in you couldn't hear the other person watching tv in the adjoining room. We definitely will be returning to this hotel in the future.

This motel was not good. We are used to sleeping on Memory Foam mattress toppers and the motel mattress was so hard we could not sleep and our backs hurt and the mattress sloped. We had to buy a small egg carton foam to make the bed halfway tolerable. The so-called continental breakfast was a joke. The coffee was okay. We stayed 5 nights. They supplied fresh towels each day but never vacuumed. Next time we will choose a different motel. We enjoyed the Redwood forest and the CA & OR coasts.

We were driving a long way on I-5 so Medford is a place to get some rest before continuing. The Rodeway inn was in a good price range and has good overall reviews from other travelers. So we picked this hotel. The area looks safe. The room turned out to be real cozy and clean. It looked like it has been renovated recently. The beds are comfortable and they got DirectTV. My kid was so happy to watch his favorite channel after a whole day on the road. Parking is right in front of the room with cover. Breakfast has only limited food - bread, waffle, etc. No eggs. Overall, we like the room with the prices paid. Recommended for a short budget stay.

Personal trip. Easy access to all parts of Medford, Ashland and Jacksonville.
Great service. Room was fresh & clean - not so beat up like some.
Literally three minutes to the airport, but not noisy. No traffic worries.
Very good shopping all along Crater Lake Highway just around the corner.

The hotel is very close to the airport and the staff were consistently friendly. My room was spacious, quiet and clean. Didn't get a chance to use the pool or fitness center but it looked great. The free breakfast is a nice addition although the quality of the food is so so at best.

No reservation when we arrived. This time it was the hotel who misplaced it. The clerk did a great job to find it and get us set up. They did not have king beds as we requested.

The hotel was serviceable - close to freeway entrance and other amenities. However, it was NO FRILLS - even the "breakfast" was individually pre-wrapped pastry. However, it was clean and well-lit and all we needed was a room to crash in so it was perfect for our needs.

A Pleasant Stay

We had two problems at the hotel. The first was when we checked in a got a smoking room. I had specifically asked for a non=smoking room. We were told there were no other rooms available and given an ionizer to hopefully clear the air in the room. It did not work well. April, the receptionist, was able to change our room for the next 2 nights. The staff moved our luggage. That was very helpful.The last day, I fell in the shower. The tub bottom was slippery and there was no separate tub mat to counter the slipperiness. Fortunately, I was getting out at the time and holding the handrail, so the injury was minimized. I have several blacks and blues but no broken bones. I tried to fill out an accident report, mostly to alert the corp to the dangers of the slippery tub. But it was Sat. and the report papers were locked in the safe. The manager would not be able to get to them until Mon. I left a signed, handwritten report with [...] at the desk. She also signed it and gave me a copy, so hopefully the formal report will be filled out today.

I was there for a short business trip. Check in and check out were speedy and the desk staff were very courteous. My room was spotless and the bed was soft and comfortable. My only complaint is that for several hours a dog was barking in the room next to us. The dog stoppped in the evening, or I would have complained to the manager.

The room was small but adequate. It was clean enough. One towel was stained, but the sheets were clean. One of the reasons I chose this hotel over the others was the continental breakfast [...] has listed under amenities. Well there was no continental breakfast. The lady behind the couter said, "Check the website again. We don't have that here." Well I just checked and continental breakfast is still listed under amenities. Also, I guess when I made the reservation online, I entered 1 instead of 2 under the number of guests. On arrival, I was charged an extra $11 for bringing a second guest with me. ???

Terrible location faced gas station

An elderly gentlemen who checked me in had never seen CheapTickets reservation, said this was a first for him, couldn't find hotel name, price or anything on receipt. I couldn't believe my room was on the parking lot of a Chevron gas station that went all night. The street was closed for construction within the block, making it very hard to find the motel. Don't think I have used Cheaptickets before. This was definitely a different experience!

I was happy with everything at this hotel. Everything was clean and I felt welcomed when I entered the lobby to check in. I also felt like I was in a safe area.

This was a great place. We had a nice big room with a kitchenette including a fridge and freezer. We brought our dog with us, and it was great. There was a huge open field next to the hotel where we could play fetch.

We came to attend the Brit Fest in nearby Jacksonville...15 minutes to the concert, lovely rooms, helpful staff, nice breakfast included.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. We made use of the swimming pool and hot tub which was nice too. A nice exercise room at this facility and close to restaurants. Close to the I5 which is really convenient when travelling. Breakfast provided in the morning too which is a bonus. We would stay here again.

This hotel is very basic but easy to find and pretty cheap. If you just need a bed for the night, it is a great deal. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for a long stay, but the staff was very friendly and the bed was comfortable. Overall, I was satisfied!

Personable desk clerk knew what she was doing and I enjoyed the interaction. A couple of unusual things about this motel vs the many I have stayed in: as noted the blanket on the bed looked worn and in need of cleaning but maybe it was just the type of blannket...not encouraging; this is the ONLY place I have stayed in the USA that had a toilet without toilet seat...I think that is weird! Good location very close to airport, highways, 15 minutes to Ashland.

This hotel is very convenient for the airport in Medford. Location and price are the only reasons to stay. There are virtually no amenities...no hairdryer, shampoo, etc. It was clean, but certainly no frills. Would only recommend if you just want a place to sleep and need quick airport access.

Staff is friendly and responsive. The flights we take when we go to Medford arrive late at night and leave early in the morning, so this hotel makes it easy to get in and out.

very nice accommodations - quiet, nicely appointed lobby. Variety of meal choices available in restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Generally not an option in Mariott Courtyards. Would like to see an additional blanket provided in the room.

We,ve enjoyeed the pool area better in the past. Now they rent it out to the public. Which made it crowded at times. The cleaning staff needed to be educated a bit more, but the front desk was excellent and extrememly helpful
