I had a very enjoyable stay. Groceries and pharmacy across the street. Excellent Mexican reasturant close by. Clean and comfortable rooms with very attentave staff and don't forget about the cookies at 8:00pm in the lobby.

We were on our way from Carson City to Crater Lake so needed motel close and a good price. This fit the bill. Motel older, but very clean. Night staff for check-in was very unfriendly but next morning staff very nice. Breakfast was very basic and had to ask for milk for oatmeal, but okay.

The location and price were very good

Our main reason for going was to attend church and visit with friends when we were members there. We also took advantage of the opportunity to do some bird watching at the Klamath Basin NWR.
Our room was very comfortable, and the breakfasts were exceptional for a motel. We realize it was winter,but the grounds could use some maintenance, and the parking area could use some cleaning up.

You won't find a better hotel for the money for sure. Great staff, rooms very clean, staff very helpful. The beds were very comfortable and has a fridge and microwave in the room (very useful). I had a problem with the AC in the room, told reception and it was fixed within the hour. The courtesy van was available all the time. The restaurant affiliated with it was good plus they have a free continental breakfast. I was there for 5 nights and can't find anything negative to say about the place. I didn't use the pool but it was cleaned daily.
I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a place that is clean, courtious staff and reasonably priced...good value for money. I'm not looking for negatives to any place but still have standards and they passed all of them!

The clerk was very friendly when I arrived. She offered me fresh coffee and a daily newspaper. She heklped me familiarize myself with the surrounding area to help me feel more comfortable. The fitness center was not open when I arrived, but she personally went up and opened it.

We passed through Klamath Falls on the way to Bend. Staff was welcoming and friendly at check in and provided the free WiFi code. The beds were comfortable and the motel clean and quiet, even though it is right on Hwy 97. We got a good night's sleep!

It was a quick one day, over night visit, but the room was nice. The mini fridge and microwave were wonderful to have in the room. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The only negative thing I would say was that some lunch meat was left in the fridge when I got into the room, but I tossed it out and all was fine after that.

No longer a ranch :(

To my surprise, this resort has changed hands. The ranch portion was sold off. This was a disappointment, but they have other things to offer. The spa is reasonably priced, nature trails to walk, a nice pool, and the onsite market and restaurants gave it a village feel. With out the ranch it felt like we had to find some alternatives to keep ourselves busy.
As for the rooms, they were very nicely appointed and reasonably priced.

Stayed one night. Arrived late. Left early.
Room was clean and compact, with a tiny refrigerator and a microwave stacked on the desk. Good to have. Otherwise, room was stark. One night stand light bulb was burned out.
Neighbor guest noise clearly audible, and the type of guest staying there the same night liked to talk, use the cell phone, and smoke in the parking lot. Big negative.
Complimentary breakfast was laughable--an exercise in eating corn-based, high-calorie food products with no attention to nutrition. It would be healthier for patrons if they didn't offer such a breakfast. However, since I expected that breakfast would be like this, I was not disappointed.
Location and price outweighed the negatives.

Peaceful and relaxing stay

The Running Y is deceiving at first glance. It looks like a barn from the outside! However, entering into the lobby, automatic doors swing out to welcome you and you are greeted by a large fireplace and several comfy chairs situated around it. Our daughter is pregnant, so the desk clerk immediately put us into a non-smoking room and we never had another problem! Our room had a little balcony that overlooked the golf course and could see the lake in the distance. It was quiet and peaceful and lovely to sit in the morning with a cup of coffee, with the room having an automatic coffeemaker. It also contained a microwave and small refrigerator.The room was large, even with two queen beds, there was even a small table and two chairs and still did not feel as though it was cramped. The bath and toilet were in a separate room apart from the sink and mirror, which made it easier for three people to get dressed and ready in the morning. All of the staff were very friendly. Every afternoon, someone came around to the room to provide a listing of the next day's activities, both in Klamath Falls and at the resort. The only drawback to me would be the lack of affordable dining on site. There is a small buffet breakfast served in the morning in the bar, and it was quite adequate for the $8 price. However, the only other restaurant on site is what I would term resort restaurant. (After all, the resort does also have a spa and I am sure that is a good deal of the clientel that they are interested in) And, it is about a 15 minute drive to actual Klamath Falls and any stores or other dining establishments. That seemed a small complaint in comparison to the beautiful setting, with many trees and birds everywhere. If ever in the Klamath Falls area again, we would consider staying at the Running Y.

The Microtel Inn and Suites is situated in a convenient location - near the airport, shopping, and major arteries in and out of the city. The complimentary breakfast was simple, but adequate - fruit, yogurt, waffle maker, bagels, hard-boiled eggs, three kinds of cold cereal, and a variety of beverages - however, it seemed that the orange juice dispenser had a perpetually weak mixture of juice to water. There were several "free" services available to customers: "high-speed" (although it didn't seem that speedy) wireless and hard-wired internet, local and long distance phone calls, local newspaper, and use of a computer in the lobby area. The rooms are smallish, but comfortable and clean. They are equipped with an LCD TV, blow dryer, and coffee maker, but not a microwave or fridge (both would have been nice). My biggest complaint regarding the room was that the walls are paper thin. I could hear noises from all of the surrounding rooms. The hotel is only a couple of years old, and is still in like-new condition. The staff was friendly and accommodating. In all, other than the issue of the thin walls, I had a pleasant stay, and would consider staying again.

Looked like a brand new facility. Spotless in every detail. Rooms were a bit small, but very nice. Amenities were great. Close to the airport. Great staff! Noise between rooms (water running inside walls, etc.) and from outside (people talking, cars starting and leaving, etc.) All in all... a great place for the price. Better than I expected!!! I'd stay there again without hesitation!

I was mostly satisified with my stay at this location. The room was adequately clean, and was for the most part comfortable.
