My first room smelled like a old smelly sock, but I had no problem getting a new room assigned (+1 for the staff). It's a step above the other national-brand cheap hotels, but not by much.

Very pleasant - quiet, close to mall and freeway, but no spillover effects! Staff was not as attentive to efforts to be "green", replacing towels when not requested, but that type of problem is certainly better than the opposite would have been!

Unbeatable location for the price

We attended a local music festival at Pendarvis Farm in Happy Valley. The location of the hotel was perfectly situated for easily traveling to the festival and then leaving for the airport.
We had to change rooms because of the overwhelming smell of smoke in the first one. They gladly accommodated a change, though.
