Staff was very attentive and all efforts are made to make my stay special. Property is starting to show significant wear and may influence my choice next time in Tulsa.It is fine for me, but I would not use it again when I travel with others. When the age of the property is coupled with location, it presents as a bit 'run down'. Again, no reflection on staff. Their efforts and attention to our needs is why I will continue to consider staying there myself in the future.

Not my best hotel experience.

I was traveling with my husband, daughter and son-in-law to visit my son at Ft. Sill. When we entered the lobby for check-in, I was impressed at the cleanliness and updated look due to the relatively recent remodel.
However, when we checked into our rooms we found several dead roaches in the bathrooms (2 rooms). We went back down to the lobby to talk to the desk clerk who questioned what we told him about the bugs but offered to give us different rooms - which he checked before giving us the keys.
The replacement rooms were bug-free, but I was a little creeped-out from finding them in the first room. Overall, the room was not as clean as I would expect and the paint and caulking from the remodel looked extremely sloppy giving the whole room a less-than top notch appearance and feel. The bed was comfortable, but the hallways smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke.
Needless to say, after finding the roaches in the first rooms, we didn't eat breakfast at the hotel. We instead chose to go down the road to Cracker Barrel.

The hotel is in a really bad part of town and the pool was not operational. The staff promised me the pool would be working within 3 days when I checked in and it still wasn't working after I checked out from a 12 day stay. The room had just been remodeled so it was decent, but it still has the popcorn ceiling from the 70's. Overall, it wasn't a great experience and I would not stay there again.

Staff was polite, room cleanliness was average, location was quiet and close to airport. No real bad experience. Would like to see fresher and more pillows and maybe a larger coffee pot but otherwise pleased with an affordable room.

In 2010, the phrase "A data port in every room" should not mean "an extra plain old phone jack on the telephone set". "WiFi available" should not mean "wifi barely available" or "only available if you make a pact with the devil".
The bed was comfortable.
The bathroom was tiny, cramped, and the fixtures were in desperate need of an upgrade.

Quiet and clean!

Even though you may have to walk an extra block or two further than some of the other hotels downtown, Downtown Tulsa is still easily accessible. The BOK Center is within walking distance, but it is also far enough that post game and post concert crowds don't flood the streets and take up parking like at the Hyatt just two blocks away. My only complaint: my room didn't have a microwave. Starbucks on the second floor is a life saver!

The room was perfect size for what I wanted, very clean & comfortable bed. My room was at the end of the hall so was away from elevator & other doors opening. Was a very quiet floor, which was what I needed. The building was was a converted office building built in the early 20's or 30's so it was a little eery, but not to bad. Lots o gray slab granite in the hallways & such. Just different is all. Overall a very nice hotel.
The only reason I didn't give this all stars, is I didn't get that WOW feeling. I am in customer service, biz & I usually provide the WOW for my clients. Just didn't get that. Over all very good though.

I've stayed at this Hyatt Place once before and will continue to do so whenever I go to Tulsa. It's in an excellent, safe location and the staff is the friendliest I've encountered. They make you feel at home from the moment you arrive until you leave. I won't stay anywhere else in the future.

Stayed for meeting in Tulsa. Typical Hyatt Place, a quiet room with comfortable beds. Nice décor and friendly staff.
The flat TV did not work but was quickly fixed within 10 minutes. The maintenance staff said this is a common issue that happens when housekeeping cleans behind the TV and accidentally loosen cables as they rotate the TV on its mount.

We live outside of town, so my husband & I booked the room so that we could stay in town for New Years Eve. We have stayed at this hotel several times. We were a little disappointed with the room this time because it was a little run down and the bathroom & carpet needed to be cleaned. The bedroom was decorated very modern and that was nice. Because of the fact that we have stayed there several times before with no issues, I am sure that we will give it another chance. Their rates are very reasonable & it usually meets our needs very well.

Somehow my reservation was entered twice by one of your agents. When I arrived at the hotel the computers and telephones were down(a bulldozer cut the lines). I was told that I had reserved 2 rooms for 2 nights! I only wanted one room for 2 nights.[...] THE HOTEL'S PHONES WERE OUT! This went on until I checked out. I was then told things were fixed.

This hotel is in a bad neighborhood. The room was in serious need of repair. The ceiling was crumbling in my room, carpet dirty.

the man at the front desk was very nice and the room was not bad but... after being there for about 2 minutes we had someone knock at the door and ask to use our phone my husband told her we didnt have one then shut the door well a few minutes later she came back so I called the front desk and the man went looking for her but didnt find her well later when we left the room to find the pool she was in the other hall asking people for money to eat!!!! I told the man at the front desk and he kicked her out but when we came back after dinner she was there again we soon relized that she was able to get in thru the back door because the door latch was busted!!!

No Maid or Room Cleaning at this hotel...

We checked into a room that was suppose to be a non-smoking but had ash trays everywhere. Also, the floor in the bathroom had hair and pieces of paper from the previous guests. We left the room at 10 AM the next morning and arrived back at the hotel around 11 PM. The room was in the same condition we left it in. The room was not cleaned, beds were unmade, no clean towels. When we called the front desk to complain they told us to come down to the front desk and pick up some towels. Nothing else was done and we spent the night with trash cans full and unmade beds.. We will not be back!

The Mayo is nice, definitely the best Tulsa has to offer. It lacks a lot of amenities that nice hotels in larger cities offer and isn't comparable to a nice stay in Los Angeles, New York or Vegas but is the best option in the area.

Good place to sleep

I just needed a place to sleep and shower while in Tulsa. This hotel did the job. The pool was really warm and was a plus. The breakfast wasn't anything special. Just cereal and eggo waffles. All in all it did the job. Couldn't ask for more at $45 a night.

I stay at this hotel regularly. As usual my stay was pleasant and comfortable. However, They still have an issue with the hot water. Turn on the shower and go watch TV for ten minutes, by this time you should have hot water. I'm serious about that. The bed was a little lumpy but over all it was a good stay. I will stay there again. I have always gotten excellent customer service there as well.

Not a good experience! Room had dirty carpet,extremely hot. Turned bathroom light on at 2:17 A.M.,found cockroach running in tub. I killed it and deposited in trash can.Plastic drinking glass leaked upon opening from wrapper and drained contents on wifes blouse leaving stains on blouse.I don't want to go through that again.Not much better then a homless shelter.Except paid to much.

I stayed one night to see my friend's musical. It was a good value and great location. Rooms do not have many electrical outlets. Had to unplug the TV to plug in laptop because the desk was next to the entertainment center. Room was pretty clean but had obvious wall patches, guess it's better than still having holes. Use Days-Inn wifi next door because Super-8's wouldn't let me use the internet.
This was closer to downtown that I needed but for the same price I prefer La Quinta off 169. They wanted to validate my card for $5, staff didn't know why because she was new.

- Only two tables for the breakfast and, since there was no space for them, they were right in front of the front desk. People checking in are standing right next to your table while You're trying to eat your breakfast. Very bad layout.

The staff was helpful and friendly. But, I thought the hotel was run down and dumpy. I didn't feel safe as it was in a less than desireable part of town (which I didn't know at the time). I checked out and went to another hotel.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Older hotel in need of updates, but clean and cheap. Area of town where hotel located is quiet and scienic; except for the beer joint located at one end of the hotel. I had to specifically ask not to be near the bar as the noise can be heard distinctly one one end of the hotel. You should add this to list of hotel extras; there were a few people in the parking lot early some mornings who were patrons from the bar from the night before...people with beer cans at 7 AM really stand out.

It was just right for our convention stay. We are only in the room long enough to sleep, shower and change cloths. I went down and talk to the staff and found them very interesting to have conversation with. They knew about the neighborhood and the surrounding amenities. The hotel had ever thing that is important to us for a good convention stay. The only thing I feel that could be improved is the breakfast bar. Four of my friends also stayed at your hotel because of my suggestion and was very much pleased. Thank You!

Loved the hotel.. only thing was.. only a sliding door on the bathroom that doesnt close all the way. Hope your staying with people who are not shy. Lounge was nice... so was patio... bar tender wasnt to generous with the wine even after a good tip.. but ok, whatever. Id stay there again.

The hotel when you walk in is very modern and has a lot of flare everything seems very well maintained. As for the room very nice as well very comfortable beds and the only the that could've been in proved on in my opinion is the view but other than that minor flaw I will definitely be a repeat costomer.

We visited friends and family. The hotel was lovely outside of the fact that the mattress needed replacing. It was very uncomfortable unlike other luxury hotels we have stayed in. We would not go back because a good nights rest on a pillow top mattress is imperative.

Hotel was modern decor and pretty clean (aside from the rust spots in our tub) Pool and spa were nicely maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the hotel except for the firm mattresses. Too hard for my taste, but maybe just perfect for someone else. Only one entrance to this hotel and that was a bit confusing.

Hotel is nicely located, right when the turn pike ends, there it is. Staff could be friendlier, but so can a lot of people. Had to get my room key rekeyed the next day......no biggie. nice breakfast. McDonald's, Taco Bueno, Carls JR, Arby's, Wendy's, Waffle House and convenient store within walking distance. Pillows were too soft for me and my hubby. I'd stay there again.

The super 8 motel in tulsa was an okay stay. The room was much smaller than I thought it would be and the room itself could use some updates.The staff was very friendly and helpful however I dont think I will return to this hotel during my next visit to tulsa.

The rooms were small, but clean. They were accomodating and moved our room further away from the highway at my request. We knew we would not spend much time in our room, so the size was fine. We just needed a place to sleep and change our clothes for our next event! We locked ourselved out a couple of times, and they were quite nice about it!

It is located right off of I-44 as advertised. If someone was travelling through Tulsa it would be a great spot to pull off for the night- because it's inexpensive and serves the purpose of a place to sleep and a quick bowl of cereal in the morning. If I were returning to Tulsa with my family for a few days, I would definitely stay somewhere that was more family friendly. It's a trucker's dream hotel.
