Huge conference center, with small rooms, but all you need if you won't be spending much time there. Very friendly, helpful staff. Really clean, well-run. Huge pool with lap lanes. Nice lounge. Cafeteria-style breakfast was excellent.

The room was small, even though it had two full size beds in it. It did have all of the accommodations (fridge, microwave, tiny coffee maker, TV), but the room door needed to be worked to get it open. Four people were staying in the room but there were only enough towels for two. (This happened each of the 3 days we were there).

Needed to stay an extra night[...]. We did not have to change rooms.

Room (2 queen beds) was comfortable, though the pillows triggered my wife's allergies--we think they might have been feather pillows. The indoor pool is nice, although it doesn't get deeper than about 5 feet. The jacuzzi is very nice. The breakfast is good, but not spectacular--the standard cold continental breakfast of cereal and bagels, plus make-your-own waffles, some fruit, and mediocre pre-prepared cheese omelets and chopped ham. Staff was more than helpful--every request was handled promptly and satisfactorily. And they had fresh cookies at the front desk--a nice touch. Location is very convenient--right on the I-35 service road, and only about 2 miles due west of the OU campus. Lots of places to eat along I-35, from Olive Garden and Red Lobster to fast food like Burger King. I would stay there again, because it's a good value, but it's not 5-star.

Although the staff and the check-in were exemplary, the room leaves a little to be desired. I was in town for a Licensing exam, and the room was adequate for rest and business. However, the room had some issues: apparently OUR room, on the top floor was the wireless router hub for the 6th floor, and had a cluster of wires beside the bed. The door was loose, the room was obviously aged, and someone had absconded with the hair dryer. The Air unit had a patchwork fix on the controls, and there were dead crickets in between the curtain and the floor. The value for the room was not comparable to others in the area, as I paid right at $100 for one night's stay...

I went for vacation and the hotel was a good place to stay. The only thing I would like to say is the clean service didn't come in two days. The room was not a mess, though. Good place fot the rates!

family reunion hotel was ok for price messed up reservation asked for handicap roonm was put up stairs but front desk changed our room to lower still was very hard to get to for an older person,

Was in Norman for family gathering - hotel was in great location - very clean - quiet. Staff was excellent (from check-in through check-out). Only small criticism - "cook to order breakfast" was not complimentary. Coffee was available; but anything else we got charged for. Think advertising for hotel was misleading in this respect. That being said - the breakfast was excellent.

Traveled to finish up paperwork for graduate school, and met all my needs. Free internet was great, room was modern and really nice, and had a wonderful lobby and guest area downstairs for getting work done outside of the room. Didn't use the bistro area but it was nice to have it available if I needed a bite or a drink without wanting to leave the hotel and face the weather.

the staff and hotel were fine trying to get a parking space at 10.30pm was ridiculass, pick up truck,s with trailer,s just abandoned anywhere, taking up 6/7 spaces at a time. sad.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, and the recent room renovation makes it a great stay both for buniness or pleasure.

While not a new facility it is well equiped with recent upgrades like wireless, good TV's and new AC units. Staff was very friendly and location is an excellent value, in this area, considering cost and features. Breakfast was a little limited but was acceptable. Room and property well maintained with access to the rooms either by outside door or via hall. This is a nice security option if you feel uncomfortable in a strange town. Motel location is in a good part of town with many eating and retail options open to a traveler. Access to freeway excellent.

The location of the hotel is very close to many restaurants and shopping(Sooner Mall). It is easy to get to from I-35 and a short drive from OU. The staff was helpful and polite. Everything was modern and new in the hotel, must have been constructed not that long ago. I will stay here again the next time I'm in Norman.

Was a great place to stay for a quick getaway. Close to everything you could possiable want. The pool could of been deeper, but other then that it was great!!! Will stay again!!!

The beds and pillows were comfortable. Bath tub did not look clean and there was a water leak in the bathroom.

Went to the OU Football game. Close to campus. Room was OK. The bathroom soap had no smell. Small bathroom with a weird room layout.

We come to Norman to visit family and this is our home away from home. We like the kitchen facilities allowing us to cook.

The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Had questions on places to eat along with how to get to the location. The room was very good. Housekeeping was very good.

At first glance you'd think that the location was kind of bad. But if you're staying there to visit the OU campus, it's not a bad place to stay. You can either jump on the highway and head over to the tech park part of campus ASAP, or you can take one of the crossroads just north of the hotel over to the Sooner stadium. However, all the shopping and food places are over on I-35, so you'll have to drive a few minutes to get to them. That said, the highway less than a half mile from the hotel, so it's easy to get to these things. That said, there is a convenience store about 1/2 a block away on the opposite side of the street. You can get most random odds and ends and snacks there. As far as cleanliness, the hotel seemed to be both new and old at the same time... or maybe I should say there was a lack of attention to detail that gave the hotel a slight quality of not fully clean. I feel a bit guilty saying that as the hotel cleaning staff were very friendly, and I didn't come across anything disgusting while staying there. Though I guess my toilet did get plugged once because of low toilet pressure. This place is definitely not a destination hotel for the family. The pool is small and outside. It's surrounded by a fence, but it's so close to the street that I got the impression that you'd feel like you were an animal in a zoo cage on display for the locals to see. The hotel feels safe, but there were construction crews staying there as well, and they seemed to be making noise past 10pm. And there were empty soda and beer cans laying in the grass nearby the pool area. If you're a family on the way to Disney or some other destination, this is a decent place to stop for the night. Though the morning breakfast wasn't extensive. So you'll probably just get some cereal and a danish for the kids before you leave in the morning. There was an onsite coin-op laundry, and the machines were in working order. However, there was only fabric softener in the vending machine. Something I wish I would have realized before I had gone out the convenience store. Still the soda was reasonably priced, and the food sections of the vending machines seemed to be full. So to sum up, the staff were friendly and helpful, it's a safe place to stay, and reasonably clean. Not the most fabulous of hotels, but good for a quick one-night stop, or a short business trip where the quality of the room isn't your highest priority. Oh, almost forgot. Free internet that worked well! That's always a plus in my book. And there was a good selection of cable channels, including HBO and news. And I was allowed to check in 2 hours early.

The rooms of the hotel were clean and the beds comfortable. We did not spend much time at the hotel but the pool was fun for one of my children. Only real complaint was the contentinantal breakfest, the food trays were not kept up and on Sunday there was no food when we went an hour after the breakfest opened.

The stay was planned around a Sat/Sun college baseball series. Even though the Sun game was rained out, the motel was more than I expected for the price. The room was suprising quiet considering the nearby interstate and thunderstorms. It had all the features of a much higher priced location.

Nice and clean. Fridge doesn't get too cold, but air conditioning worked great.

We really just went in to sleep and checked in pretty late. The staff was really nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The only thing that it didn't have in the rooms was an iron which we did fine without. I will say that they need a different parking setup because you have to walk so far to get in the building. I would definitely stay here again. It was very nice and the cheapest I have ever spent on a motel.

Having a car, this hotel was convenient to most restaurants, stores and points of interests. This hotel was like being at home. It was clean and in a safe and quiet neighborhood. It was modern basic lodging with no frills for a very modest price. To my surprise, I was very pleased to see a kitchenette in every room. But the basic esentials (dishes and cookware) had to be provived by the guest; As well as the soap and bath room tissue after initial check in.

The beds were lumpy and I don't think I liked the fact that we only had wash clothes and bath towels. I would have liked hand towels. I also bought tolietpaper because the tolietries edict was unclear if it included toliet paper or not. Definitely not staying at a ValuePlace again.
