If you're just planning to sleep there

There were a couple of bugs in the room, but they were on the way out (dying) when I spotted them. The room was pretty clean, just very small. This served our purposes well enough, as we spent our time in Ada at my family's house and only used the room to sleep, shower & get ready. The staff is SUPER friendly and very helpful.

Attended a funeral. Visit with family and relatives.
Quiet atmosphere. Possible to extend breakfast hours until 10:00 am? Continue to up-grade pool area. Keep ALL areas smoke free.

Very friendly, not bad for Ada

I've never stayed at a hotel in Ada before, (I've always just stayed with family,) so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff, the ease of check in, that traveling with my dogs was no problem, and how clean everything was. Every time we entered or left the hotel, someone was cleaning something, even shining the elevator doors. The only detriments: I would have liked to have been able to close the black out curtains all the way (they were bolted open) as I was hoping to sleep, without waking, past sunrise. The remote control in the room didn't work. We took it to the desk and they replaced the batteries with no questions, but it still didn't work. At that point, and since we weren't planning to watch that much tv, we just left it. I'm sure if we had brought it to their attention, they would have done what they could have to fix the situation. And lastly, someone was vacuuming in a room right next to ours at 7:30 or 8 a.m. It was REALLY loud and woke all of us up. Honestly, I got a really poor night's sleep due to the windows and the noise.

It appears that local oil drilling activity requires the work crews to stay in hotels. These workers appear to have very poor regard for taking care of the hotel rooms in which they stay and the hotel is challenged to maintain the facilities after their stays. Until some changes occur, this hotel is not in very good condition to stay in. The alarm clock, remote control, shower curtain rod, toilet paper dispenser, dryer were all broken. Holes in the walls and dark stains on the comforters.
