Did a lot of visiting family!
The wireless internet had such a low signal I had trouble with my internet.
An elevator would have been nice they putuson the 3rd floor and my arthritis doesn't like stairs that much.

The hotel was really nice in 1970. If the bathrooms were updated a little, things would have been fine. No smokey smell, no real odors at all.
Bed relatively comfortable, carpet needed cleaning, but what hotel doesn't. So I guess if they change the carpets and update the bathrooms, things would have been fine. Outside entrance, which is not that bad except for the weather- snowy- can't knock them for that. But being in the snow belt by cleveland, kind of tough.

Waited a while until someone arrived at the desk. Asked for a quiet room, got one accross from the ice machine.. Some also needs to address how a guest room door closes.. they SLAM.. and I felt terrible when I left at 6 and I am sure woke my neighbors up!

The Fairfield Inn in Austintown was great! The room was spectacular: extra roomy, pull out couch. Beds were very comfy. Bathroom was extra large. Separate sitting area where couch was, complete with another tv and stereo. The only thing that I did not like about this hotel was the driveway and that it came out adjacent to a stop light. I would highly recommend this hotel. Lots of restaurants nearby as well.

We were visiting the area to attend a birthday party for an old friend. The hotel was easy to find and centrally located to the events. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the room was clean and worked well for our family. The breakfast was good, too. The pool was clean and the water was warm!

Clean place. The lobby has a smell from the pool and there was a line to check in but the bed was very comfortable, there was a tv and fridge.

Room was clean and very neat. A little put off by general housekeeping in hallways and elevators. Hotel had many families staying and some children on my floor (looked to be between 6 and 12) were still running the halls at 3:45AM!Sleep wasn't the greatest.
Overall,my stay was better than most hotels I've tried in the immediate area, with an experienced and helpful staff.

Location is good and good places to eat near by. But the room smelled strongly like cleaner used to cover up cigarette smoke. And Taxes were added to my orbitz price even though my orbitz said their price was my total. I ended up paying over $70 for a pretty crummy place.
