Was in Mason for a friend's wedding.. Originally had booked into the Marriott across the street. Whereas I was only going to be spending the one night and was only really going to be sleeping at the hotel went online to look for something a little cheaper. Found the Mason Best Western (which was directly across the street) and gave it a shot. It was a good value for the money, clean room, clean workout room and good buffet breakfast. Would definetely recommend for the money.

The location was excellent for our needs. It is located right at the expressway exit. The room was average, except for the large dead insect behind the commode. The bed was hard and seems like it was higher in the center. I did not sleep well on it. The cost of the room was minimal, so we were't expecting a lot.

We stayed at the Hyatt Place in Mason as a "home base" while visiting the King's Island Amusement Park. We stayed for 3 nights in a two double bed room. The hotel was very clean and spacious for me, my husband, two kids, and mother-in-law. The storage space could've been better. There were only three very small drawers and a very small closet. This hotel served as the perfect place to come home to each night we returned from King's Island.

My kids, neices and nephews, and all parents have returned to this place so many times, and every time we have a great time. My kids absolutely love the water park and Magiquest game; they know every inch of the hotel and feel very comfortable there. My sister and i love the mango margarita's! Outside of the junk-food being a little pricey, we have a great time! . . . and the new triple twist rocks!

I ended up booking the hotel room again.

It was like a Jerry Springer episode in the pool at 10:00 at night. Alot of loud and unruly guests made me regret bringing my children.

The rooms are large and the hotel apparently recently rennovated. The staff was friendly and smiled even during our late night checkin. The beds, covers towels etc. were all clean, soft and abundant. While not oppulent, the value was terrific.

Stayed here while waiting for my daughter at Camp Kern and to spend a day at Kings Island amusement park. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed the pool and the lobby was comfortable. The room service menu could have been more extensive and the lack of portable tables was inconvenient. Also, for the room rate a mini-bar would have been desirable.

we stayed there after going to kings island, my cousin stays there all the time and told me it was cheap. and it was but u get what u pay for. we couldnt wait to get out of there, the room just wasnt the cleanest but the beds were soft. thats prolly the only thing that was ok

Went to visit the granchildren, so they could swim and then we saw their ball games
The first room they gave us hadn't been used for a while and was very dusty. The staff was very accommodating and switched us. This room was adequately cleaned. The pool was nice, breakfast in the morning adequate. Overall stay was acceptable.

We went to Kings Island which was close and easy to get too. The pool was cold, but overall we had a great time. There was alot of people there so for breakfast the breakfast area wasn't big enough.

The front desk clerk [...] was very unfriendly. The rooms and hotel was nice but the beds that they advertise as being comfortable sleep adjustment beds, were very hard even on the softest setting. I am definitely glad I did not pay full price for the room. I would NOT recommend.

This the perfect place for a reasonable rate with great access to the Tennis Tournament in August. It is also very close to Kings Island. It is nothing fancy, but it works.

called for directions,no problems finding the motel. it is on a country road away from the traffic of kings island and shopping areas. quiet with few other guests. no elevator to second floor.if you need a 1st floor room call in advance, [...]. didn't get in the pool but it looked nice, small.very clean rooms,lobby,and halls. beds were way too soft and uncomfortable for me,but i was pooped from the park and not in the mood to complain to get another room. plenty of parking. there is a marathon station on the corner and a car wash beside the motel.

Buffett Breakfast was decent and only $5.99
Location was great if going to Kings Island and the Free Bus ride was great as well.
Outdoor pool was good and a playground for kids was OK as well. You could even bring your fishing gear and fish in a pond.
Beds and Matress = Very Poor Quality

We stayed at the hotel for one night and found it to be a plesant place to stay. The room was clean and the staff friendly. It was midweek so the resort was not crowded and the location was great for our Kings Island visit.

Pretty good place near Kings Island

Staff was friendly and helpful - We had a leaky pipe under the sink and they addressed it and made sure to find out when a convenient time was for us to have the maintenance people take a look at it and our daughter threw up and the staff got us a new garbage bag.
The pillows were really bad - it was like not even having a pillow and the noise level was terrible by our room (104) right next to the weight room and near the pool and right in the main hallway.
Overall the hotel was clean and the breakfast was very nice.

This hotel is next to King's Island amusement park and shows the wear and tear. Our sink and tub (room 303) both refused to drain properly and the place had a musty smell. Oh, well. Just another 2 star hotel.

The hotel was conveniently located near the amusement park. We checked in around 4pm. Other reviews mentioned staff not having the rooms ready for guests so we gave a little extra time from the 2pm check-in time. The front desk clerk was very friendly and worked at a quick pace.
When it came to the room, it fit the reviews we had read of the hotel. It was a bare essential hotel. There were two queen size beds that because of local and current hotel conditions, were searched thoroughly for "bedbugs". Luckily the beds were clean as a whistle! The bathroom was a different story. It was incredibly moldy! Two of the four people in our group opted not to shower because of the conditions! Nonetheless, the bathroom was functional. The description of the hotel says there is a restaurant on site. The restaurant was closed. Actually, it looked like it had been closed for business permanently and stripped of all appliances. Also, the renovations that were described remain to be seen.
This hotel was priced correct for the purpose it served, a simple, no frills place to rest after a long day of roller coasters.

We checked in at 3pm and went to our room. The maid stopped us and said the room wasn't ready. The front desk assigned a room that had yet to be cleaned. That was a real turn off. We left our stuff (non-valuables of course) and came back later. When we returned later that night, the room was clean and hotel was quiet. We were able to get a peaceful night's rest.
We had reservations for 3 people and only had towels for two. The sink leaked so much that we had to put the trash can underneath it to catch the water. When we left, there was at least 3 inches of water in the trash can from the leak. Non-smoking room had been smoked in. The hotel room was worn out and we won't stay there again.
