I've stayed at many hotels in the Columbus area, all of which have been quite pleasant. I decided to try this hotel in Delaware to save some money, as the price was certainly good. However, we tried to check in all of half an hour early and got a snotty attitude from the desk clerk. She did relent, and the room - while conveniently located near the breakfast area - had a strange smell, and the bathroom had ants. I returned to the front desk a bit later to report the ants, and there was another clerk there who acted as though she couldn't be bothered to take care of my issue. (The ants remained the entire trip.) The next day, we left the room to do some exploring and returned around 6:00 p.m. - and the room hadn't been cleaned! I called the front desk and the clerk said she'd talk to housekeeping; she came back to the phone to say sorry, all the maids had clocked out for the day. The entire time I was on the phone with her, I was watching a maid clean a room directly across the hall from me. The desk clerk said that the best she could do was give me clean towels, which I would have to fetch from her myself. Overall, just terrible service.....definitely not worth the money I saved.

Clean but needs updating!

We have stayed here before. This time the room did not seem as fresh & clean as other times--kind of had a musty smell and everything looked well-used. Needs some TLC, but very convenient to visiting family that lived near by and about the right price for what you get. Nice to have a fridge to keep things cold. The highway can be noisy if you stay in a front room--I'd ask for one on the back side.

I was more impressed the first time I stayed at this hotel with the cleanliness and overall impression. This time, the room smelled musty, it had a cold and damp feeling even when the heat was turned on, the shower dripped all night long. Needs new bedspread! Very tired looking, but relatively clean and neat. The woman at check in desk was very kind and helpful.

Hotel is within walking distance to several full service family sit down restaurants that serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, entertainment movie theater, attractions and businesses. Minutes from Brown Jug, Delaware County Fair, State Park, Horse facilities, antique malls and shopping malls. Free breakfast offered daily. Guest will enjoy our upgraded bedding, luxuriously apponted rooms all with Microwave/ Refrigerator as well as our indoor pool. Complimentary Wireless High-speed internet throughout hotel. Ask about our free pass to local gym. Pool closed until May 15, 2012.
