The Hyatt at the Arcade is perfectly located for a getaway weekend. It's a short walk to Progressive Field and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It's within a block of a variety of bars, restaurants and the House of Blues.The hotel's news stand is in the arcade, and it's operating hours are limited. My room was well-appointed and large, but the TV offerings on the hotel cable were disappointing. Only two local stations were available.

My wife made the reservation for myself and my son to see a Yankee game and the Rock and Roll hall of fame. Location was excellent, walked to all. Hotel was very nice and staff very helpful.. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

recently stayed at the holiday inn express for a long weekend in cleceland. the hotel is in a great location walking distance of playhouse square, tower city, the arcade and 4th street night life and restaurants.
The room was large with a good view from the 15th floor. The wood floors and modern look were a nice touch. The lobby is basically a hallway in an old bank but has nice character. The continental breakfast was more than adequate.
my only complaints- we stayed for two days and the room was not cleaned after the first night. Parking is not included but a garageis next doorThe hotel is a great value, convenient location.

We stayed here during a flight layover. It was close to the airport, transportation was free and prompt. Hotel was updated, nice, clean. Nice restaurant. Only complaint was that heating unit in room was really loud when it went off and on throughout the night.

We stayed there because we traveled to Cleveland for a special show to celebrate our Anniversary. Honestly, our room was not very clean and the hotel is a little run down. We both woke up sore from the uncomfortable mattress and pillows. However, I was pleased with the compensation from the hotel for our dissatisfaction and it was a convenient location at a good price.

visiting family in Cleveland and stayed 2 nights at Intercontinental (there are 2 within 1 mile). The conference center is the nicest, newest and better of the 2. Hotel is gorgeous with great rooms. Windows that open (I hate ac). Service very good. Overall excellent experience. Location pretty far from downtown but I understand there is nothing much downtown anyway.

The staff was nice, the hotel was comfortable and the location was convenient to surrounding restaurants and walking distance to R&R Hall of Fame. Things to watch out for: If you are programming your GPS for this address, MAKE SURE YOU ENTER THE COMPLETE ADDRESS - This means including the East direction in the address (i.e. 651 E. Huron Road) which is left out in the [...]information. You will be sent to a completely different area that is at least 1/2 hour out of the way and across the bad roads that are Cleveland. The hotel manager said that this has been a continuing problem with online sites and the hotel staff said that they would contact them again in an attempt to resolve. The hotel does not have its own parking, but there is an in/out lot open 24 hours next door that is reasonable. The hotel does offer valet parking for $20 a day with unlimited access to your vehicle, just know that it takes about 10-15 mins. to get your car.On the up side: We went to The Melt Bar and Grilled in Lakewood for dinner. It was a wonderful experience. The food was superb, the staff was friendly and the selection of beer was very comprehensive. It is a warm and inviting environment that drew us back for a second visit. There are many restaurants in walking distance, though downtown Cleveland is conspicuously absent of large numbers of people. There are people, it is just not what I was expecting for a city this size.Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would stay here again.

Great location, right in the heart of the city. Next to Progressive field and The Q. Rooms where very nice, service was excellent, valet service, only thing I would change was their pop,ice, and vending machines are all on different floors. But other than that it was great.

There was some construction going on, which limited the elevator usage from three to two. We were there for a Browns game and didnt spend much time in the room, but when we were there it was very comfortable. The room was clean the bed was great and the bathroom was a good size. We got there early and we were given our room right away, the staff was great and helpful. It is a ways to good dining. We walked about four blocks to get a good selection for dining.

We had a room on the renovated upper floors. I was very impressed. This property is way beyond a two star; I would say at least a three star hotel. The staff including the doormen were unfailingly friendly and polite. We even received phone voicemessages asking if they could do anything for us. This property even provides a free breakfast buffet including fruit, waffles, eggs and fresh oatmeal, a breakfast a little beyond the usual free ones. The only downside was that only one elevator was operating on New Year's Day and one has to pay for parking across the street. But every hotel in downtown Cleveland has pd parking and the fee is relatively minimal in comparison

We went for saint patricks day and had a great time. The staff were all very nice. The room was very roomie with a great view. The hotel is pet friendly so we were able to bring our dog which made us feel more at home.

Overall, a good experience. Room was nice, hotel staff courteous and fast. We were there to see a show at playhouse square, which was within walking distance from the hotel. The one thing I wasn't happy with was paying $20 to park at the hotel. This was part of the reason I booked this hotel, was not to pay for outrageous parking for the show. That didn't work out quite so well. The mini store by the front desk was very nice to pick up snacks and drinks. It was a decent experience.

The room and staff in the hotel were fine but the parking attendent on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning was dreadful. Short-temperment, no "please" or "thank you's", rude 100%. Has no business being in any customer service role. I would not stay again only b/c of this man.

I had a good continental breakfast that included eggs and sausage and good coffee. There was an older air conditioner that was noisy but effective. My bedside lamps (both of them) did not work and that was annoying. The hotel was OK but not special.

Very good. The manager called our room after we checked in to see if everything was OK. You are right at the end of restaurant row, lots of chains and local restaurants in a 1 mile radius. You are only about 20 minutes out of Cleveland and right next to the airport. Breakfast was good, they have a waffle maker. Coffee was poor. No hot food. Overall I would stay again.

Access is so easy via the Rapid from the airport. Room Service was great - I asked for a special order and they came up with exactly what I wanted at no extra charge, in a short timeframe and it was fresh and just what I was looking for. Service was excellent all round. Charging for in-room internet was a bit cheesy for such a nice (pricy) hotel - that is my only gripe though.

We visited Cleveland to watch the Tigers beat up the Indians on Tuesday night. Checked in around 5pm with no issues. The front desk clerk was from Michigan and very polite. We had breakfast delivered to our room in the morning, it was delicious. Prices were a little above average but worth the extra coin for quality. Overall it was a great trip, beautiful old-school hotel, formerly The Cleveland Hotel. Great architecture! Close walk to ball park and some downtown bars. Wanted to goto the Rock n' Roll HOF but didn't have the time.

The hotel staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. There were a few things that went wrong, i.e. safe in room didn't work, phone in room didn't work, but they took care of both of these problems quickly. We self-parked in the hotel's underground garage and walked to everything we did. Good location to the Arcade Mall, Town Center Mall, Playhouse Square, Rock & Roll HOF, Library, and the Cleveland Federal Reserve. All were great places to walk to. Breakfast at David's Restaurant was included in our package and was an awesome buffet!

Needs a major renovation outside. Lobby is bizarre but staff very friendly and helpful. I was afraid that the inside of my room would look like the outside, but was pleasantly surprised. It was clean and moderately comfortable. I still think this isn't a great deal for the price, but you can't beat the location if you can get past the horrible facade!
Also, there is no fitness center, in spite of advertising at the front desk. Don't go to the 2nd floor if you aren't adventurous.

The place is old, has smells, and needs updating bad. I went with a friend for a baseball game and sightseeing so we just booked the cheapest/ closest to the stadium and downtown. We got what we paid for... if the opportunity arises again, I will pay the extra $20 to stay somewhere else. Staff was NOT the problem, they were very helpful and courteous. Location is great, but could get a little sketchy at night.

I had a good stay, it was close to the airport and the RTA - cleveland's public train system is across the hotel, so getting to the city was very easy.
Also the sheet were clean, room was clean, all in all it was a pleasant experience

Stayed at ritz Chicago stayed at ritz Orlando grande lakes ritz LA and this is not a ritz. It's a over priced Marriott. Stay was very very rude. When we called to get room service we overheard the order taker say come on when we asked them to hold for a second. Need to all take a class on service. Best service was the valet.

Was in Cleveland to see a Indians game and this hotel is within a very short walking distance of the stadium. A very nice hotel and even more then I had expected. Nice decor and a super friendly staff. They helped me get a very cheap parking spot right next to the hotel. Well worth the time and money.

Nice open feeling in the main lobby area. the coffee bar was pleasant and inviting. My room had all of the nice new features amenities. I had a pleasant stay but had to leave a day early.

Ok, it is definitely not the Ritz. However the staff was very friendly and quite pleasant. The hotel is in a weird loccation, but this was a decent place to get a night of sleep.

The reservation details from the travel site didn't transfer to the hotel like an extra bed and late check out. The staff didn't seem to be very accommodating such as giving me a hard time about getting the extra bed. I had to pull up my reservation on my phone and show them I had requested it through the travel site and then said they'd waive the fee like they were doing me a favor although it was supposed to be included already. When I requested it to be delivered while we were out we got back and they apparently didn't have anymore and instead gave us extra pillows and blankets. One positive is the complimentary shuttle service within 5 miles. Definitely saved on cab fare.

A good hotel, great location

I have stayed here before catching early flights. It is a well kept hotel with nice decor and a good bar and lounge.
Great beds and nice furnishings in the room, Hotel is very quiet in the rooms. Needing a room key to operate the elevators is a nice security touch.
Prices of food are high being the only downside, and the hotel now charges for parking when it didn't used to for guests.

Overall the hotel was very nice physicaly. The acoustics vis a vis room noise I think was a bit loud. The restaurant service was very good but the dinner I had was absolutely average and overpriced. Breakfast was very good .

quick check in and check out, breakfast was not included however you could eat for 9.95/person (i chose not to did not feel it was worth the $10) other than that good place to stay good room and amenities and clean

Very comfortable with fantastic staff

My visit was due to a sick family member so my time was spent with that. The hotel was a great and very comfortable refuge for me. My room was quite comfortable with a very good layout. I ordered room service twice and the meals were delivered before the expected time. The food at the hotel was outstanding and portions were more that adequate. The movie I ordered loaded quickly and there were no problems pausing it when needed.
The house keeping staff were always friendly,courteous and kept the room very clean and orderly. I tried to not have the towels changed every day but they were. Perhaps there could be a separate towel rack for hanging towels that the guest doesn't wish to be changed out daily.
All of the staff that I encountered were helpful, friendly and were willing to engage in friendly banter. My complements to them and to the management for choosing such good people for the staff. I never encountered anyone who was unfriendly or wasn't helpful.
There are a couple of things that I would like to suggest which I think would add to the hotel.
1-It would be more convenient to have vending machines on all the floors instead of having to go to the first floor. Along with the vending machines an ice maker on all floors would be nice too. One of the vending machines should have bottled water in it.
2-A small refrigerator in the rooms would be a great convenience.
3-My above comment about the towels.
I have stayed at the hotel before and the service, value and comfort were the same as this trip. The service has been quite consistent for both stays. Thanks for your hospitality.
