Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Because of my business seminar I needed to check in late and check out early and this was no problem.
I did have trouble trying to figure out the tv channels as the numbers didn't seem to correspond to the in-room listing or the guide channel listing - but I assumed this was a cable company problem rather than a hotel problem.

My husband and I needed at short get away. Room was very clean, beautiful comfortable bed. This was perfect, we got some shopping done and then relaxed in the in room jacuzzi. The only thing missing was the pool. When we arrive it was empty and closed. Other than that it was a wonderful relaxing time.

Renovated Hotel that does things right

Definitely an older hotel but they must have time traveled the staff because the friendly staff gave 110%. They were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We have had bad experiences with other hotels in the area and were not expecting much. The room was small but quiet, They had all of the extras (room coffee pot, Ironing board etc) in very good shape. Check-in was done in 2 minutes. The breakfast was more than expected. How many breakfact bars have fresh baked begals with Lox, cream cheese and capers.

They are efficient at the front desk. One concern...the check in person said that we do not qualify for Hilton Honors points if we use a third party booking company such as orbitz to make our reservations. That is a concern for us.
I also was surprised to learn that the hotel was not completely non-smoking. According to the "rules" 10% or something like that of the rooms are smoking designated.

The hotel was excellent in every respect except one. The shower drain was blocked and the shower flooded the bathroom floor. Although we notified the desk no action was taken during our stay.

We were in town visiting family. We were very impressed with the friendliness of the front desk hotel staff. They were very helpful with any question we had. Our kids loved the pool. The hotel was very clean and very quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was exactly what it should have been...clean, comfortable, quiet. Staff went out of their way to help us find a restaurant nearby. Missed hotel on the drive in because it is tucked behind another hotel but it is in a nice part of town so no worries.

The Candlewood Suites is ...

The Candlewood Suites is basically a long-term stay facility and as such does not offer daily room make-up and cleaning unless you specifically ask for it. The refrigerator in the room was incredibly noisy - we had to turn it off in order to sleep. The room was plain but functional. We have stayed at other extended stay places before and they were much nicer than this one. Next time we'll spend a little more.

The room was very comfortable and neat. Internet connection worked perfectly and everything looked new or very clean. I only had two minor problems. The tub was clogged. I told the concierge and she gave us other room. A little uncomfortable, but a good solution overall. The second issue really bothered me. They have system that allows you to take your own food (candies, chips, juices, stuff like that), fill out a form with your room number and pay later. i took a few candy bars and drinks ($4) one night and then I woke early and left. When I came back that day, late and tired, my key wasn't working. the concierge told me they did that because I owed them $4. A silly detail that can totally sour your experience when you are not in the mood. Location is good, but if you need to go downtown plan in advance morning commuters can make that a very unpleasant experience. Neighborhood is good though, not too many stores but if you are driving finding a pharmacy or supermarket doesn't take more than 10 minutes.

The hotel was great. The pool area was excellent. The outside courtyard was very relaxing. The location of the hotel was close to lots of resturants. The hotel staff was also very nice.

The location was perfect for our needs. The pool area was very nice and the pool bigger than many motel pools; you could actually swim in it. Also it opened at 6 A.M. Employees were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a bit pricey for what you got but the food was fine.

NICE CLEAN ROOM. PRETTY SPACIOUS, QUITE, NEAR SEVERAL RESTAURANTS. COURTEOUS STAFF.
I HAD AN A/C PROBLEM ON ARRIVAL. MOVED ME PROMPTLY TO ANOTHER ROOM WITH NO HASSLE.
I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN.

Nice hotel in a decent location (Blue Ash)with friendly staff and clean rooms. We stayed in the 2 bdrm. Suite, which was very spacious and comfortable. No continental breakfast at this time, which was disappointing, but that is supposed to change soon. Our only complaint was that the bathroom shower faucet was noisy and wouldn't stay up. The toilet seat wouldn't stay up either.

I was in Blue Ash for a business meeting. The hotel would have been great for a week with my family as well but I only had time to get in get cleaned up and to sleep as well as eat breakfast.

Didn't get the room paid for [...]

First time at a Homestead and won't stay again. When I checked in they told me that we would be in a different room than we paid for because all the rooms like the one we paid for was already taken. Went to Kings Island so it was a good location. Went to the continental breakfast and all was there was bagels, muffins and coffee. Not like other hotels with more selection for breakfast. Then when checked out they had our bill incorrect and the person working had no idea how to fix it and he couldn't get ahold of a manager...what a mess. So, I have no idea how much we will end up being charged and not even the room we paid for [...]
