Stay there for one night Easter 2012 and i was impressed how clean the room was but one thing that puzzled me is my room was equipped king size bed a master stair claiming machine and big ball for yoga class???? do i need a private exercising equipment next to my bed??? took away lot lot of space was the down side effect.... lol nw

Maybe is because its new, they dont have everything down pat, but here were my only problems.
remote tv does not work 2 feet away from tv, so you must get up to change the channels.
You are supposed to get a bottle of water, never got it even when i mentioned to the maid and front desk.
asked the maid to clean my room after 11am and also the front desk but they seem to have forgotten.
no free wifi.
everything else is perfect. the bed, the pillows, the little desk with couch and table, the huge bathroom, ironing board and iron, huge closet, quiet, free continental breakfast with tons of options, free coffee all day, ample parking, pool, gym...

The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had zero issues, and it was an overall great room. Not extravagant or anything amazing but a clean, comfortable, and spacious room.

The Room was very clean and reasonable size. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the food was excellent at their restaurant. We only were at the hotel for one day but would have definitely stayed more if we had the time.

The Tarrytown House Estate and Conference center was just lovely. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Our room was a little small, but the beds, pillows were unsurpassable. Every morning we woke up refreshed and ready to go. The grounds are lovely. A short drive to Tarrytown train station- meter parking - took the train into the city. Very convenient, the town of Tarrytown is adorable. Would love to go again!

It was a very nice room and the restaurant had a spectacular view of the Hudson. However, they couldn't find my reservation and it took nearly a half hour for them to work something out. [...]They did give us a credit for breakfast at the restaurant. One other thing: the air conditioning/heating system was erratic and noisy.
